Côte Bury St Edmunds

Great food and good service. Always a good experience. The restaurant was pretty full yesterday, but still excellent service within good time frame. The specials and regular updates/additions to menu are never disappointing, unlike some restaurants that seem to fail to offer that variety.

the service was good, we both had corn fed Breton chicken which was beautifully cooked and very good value for money. Setting much better than the Norwich branch

All Staff were excellent. Beetroot starter fabulous. Mains fine. However we had to point out that the ladies toilets needed attention. We would come again.

Pretty good. Food up to the usual Cote standards, service particularly attentive at a fairly busy time. The only marginally negative comment is that we waited what seemed to be quite a long time for our Breton Chicken.

Food was excellent as always. Waiting for food was longer than usual and they had run out of one of the October specials which we had all intended to order.

Good overall experience with tasty food and friendly service. It was good to have a free bottle of wine on this occasion with our meal.

Went as a result of the free bottle of wine promotion. Very disappointed to be told that "the offer doesn't apply to Fridays and Saturdays !" The e-mail said nothing about this restriction only that orders have to be from the A La Carte menu. After threatening to find another restaurant, the manager eventually rescinded and we had the wine. Very poor PR -could have been even more embarrassing if we had taken guests, otherwise the meal and service was good.

Great food and service in a pleasant and unrushed atmosphere. Reasonable value for money and a very drinkable merlot served by the glass or bottle.

We had a lovely breakfast and the service was amazing! We had family in town and they loved the English breakfast. We will visit again soon.

Great, consistent food and service. Early evening menu is good value. One of the best 'chain' restaurants, and would recommend it to everyone. Good eating!

Our party of 3 arrived earlier than our booked time but that was not a problem, we were made to feel very welcome and our complimentary Kir Royals were brought to us promptly. Cote is one of our favourite restaurants in Bury St Edmunds, the food is always of a consistent standard and the staff are so helpful and friendly.

Food was excellent. Having explained that we had a quick turnaround as going to the theatre - this restraurant advertises pre theatre suppers - we still had to chase the waiter as the service was slow.

Always lovely food and lovely staff whenever we go. Went for another lazy lunch yestaday and had such a lovely time. You can just sit and be left alone. Thankyou Cote's.

We ate from the pre-theatre menu. Good selection to choose from for each course. Food was very good quality. Very friendly and helpful staff. Have used this restaurant before and happy to use again.

Excellent service and friendly staff. There was a problem with my steak, but the staff dealt with it extremely well and removed it from my bill streat away without being asked. We always enjoy the food and the atmosphere and would always recommend it.

My wife and I took six of our close friends for a dinner to mark my recent birthday. The atmosphere in the retaurant was good, the food was very good and the service was excellent.

Easy reception. Good service. Very good choices in menu. Good quality food - ample quantity. Total bill indicates very good value for money. As always - a good lunch.

although the complaint was resolved ok, my wife's steak was still not very good, 1st one was at least 30% fat and replacement was tough which is a shame because food and service are normally good

as always lovely food with very attentive and pleasant staff. The Steak frites is lovely especially when served with some creamed spinach; and the creme brulee is gorgeous!

Excellent meal, great service as usual. Nothing too much trouble. Maule and the steak very good and everyone enjoyed the food. Very nice red - Corbiere, if I remember it correctly!

Excellent service and overall a superb meal, spoilt a little bit by far too much salt in our mussels. This was mentioned to the staff.

It was our 3rd visit to Cote and was much as we expected it, very good food and the waiters were very attentive and we weren't kept hanging around waiting for each course. When the food arrived it was nice and hot and we weren't constantly bothered by questions such as "is everything alright ". It is a bit pricey and you have to be mindful of the 12.5% service fee that is automatically added to your bill. I am sure we will be going to Cote again, probably at around Christmas time when we have all had a chance to save up a bit and talk to to bank mananger!

The duck was tough, but other two meals were excellent. Problem sorted with manager. As usual standard of service good and we had a good table.

Was with family for an evening out. Meal was enjoyable and presented well. Resturant was very busy but food was prompt and hot. Will definitely return.

Service was average and not worth the service charge. Food, was all ok but nothing special. The charcuterie board was good. Langoustines were a very small portion compared to the charcuterie board. The pan fried haddock was nice but the whole dish was very bland.

Excellent as always. One of the best places to go out in Bury - we eat at Cote frequently because it is consistently good food and excellent service.
