Côte Bury St Edmunds

Food excellent, staff lovely and I had a really great birthday lunch. We have been here numerous times and never had a bad meal. Ten out of ten .

The service was excellent as usual and the early evening menu caters for everyone's needs and represents excellent value for money. I would highly recommend Cote Brasserie in Bury St Edmunds

Friendly staff . Simple and well presented food in the French manner. The lunch formula very good value for money. A god place to go with friends.

Lovely meal, the early evening menu is great value. Attentive service and they didn't rush us out of the door. Very enjoyable and we will return.

Great atmosphere. Service a bit slow, but everything we ordered was delicious. Questions about a starter were answered knowledgably. Vast range of menus, but we easily picked from the lunch an early evening one. Celariac slaw great. Loved the muscles and well balanced liquor. Dark chocolate pot again worked so well with creme fraise.

The restaurant was very busy with not enough staff. We were a table of 4. The food was okay, but the service was poor, but not the fault of the staff as they were all rushed off their feet. Will not return on a busy evening. PLEASE get the staffing levels sorted.

We had a lovely meal. The service was excellent though we had to wait a while for our mains. We will definitely return for another day

we had a great meal and very good service , a very professional young man called Hayden a great employee for cote who took great care and attention to the needs of everyone we will be back soon love the restaurant.

We were very pleased with both the food and service received at lunch. However whilst on this occasion we paid the service charge as the service we received was good, we would prefer to reward the individual person when appropriate to do so.

The staff and the food were up to their usual high standard, I have visited many restaurants that Cote operate and am rarely disappointed. If there ever is an issue, the management are always ready to assist and resolve.

Good service and food even though it was a busy Friday night. Reliable as ever for a good steak frites. We will be back again

Waiting staff very attentive, food excellent, ambience good, food excellent. Complimentary glass of prosecco brought when we mentioned it was my husband's birthday. Would definitely go again.

We always enjoy the welcome we get in our local Cotes staff very good and helpful. The food is consistent and good a wide variety too.

Very good as always. We eat regularly at Cote Bury st Edmunds and the food is always superb. Tonight was no exception. Always busy so they must be doing something right!

A lovely meal spoilt by the long wait for the food. We had ordered from the early evening 2 courses for £10.95 as we were going on to a concert but we waited so long that we had to leave as soon as we finished eating our first course. To make it worse, we were still charged the full amount. No offer of a free drink or anything to make up for it. Had we have had time, I would have queried it but we were in such a hurry to get to our concert. Disappointing.

Went with family and all four meals tasted amazing! The staff and service was the best I have experienced from a restaurant! The ambience is relaxing. All together a lovely meal and cant wait to go back.

Good service and enjoyable food. Staff very pleasant and attentive. However, music too loud for conversation and a bit draughty with the door permanently open.

Celebrating a joint birthday - when we got to the restaurant we were treated so well, there was a balloon on the table and complementary glasses of wine! The staff were lovely, our food was absolutely excellent, and it was an all round wonderful night. Thank you so much for making it special for my family!

Great service and really good food. The house wine was very good too. Nice selection on the children's menu which made for an enjoyable family dining experience. Very pleasant staff completed a nice meal out.

The service was great. Not the best set menu you have had though. The lady with me was fine with the main course however my croque monseur was cold and not particularly nice. Shame really as generally all the meals we have had with you have been excellent.

A lovely all round experience. Food was delicious but drinks were expensive and the restaurant would benefit from one or two draught options on the menu.

It has always been a delightful experience eating at Cote. I cannot think of another chain we have frequented that is consistently so. The food is freshly cooked and not heated up like in one or two others. We love it and count ourselves fortunate that Cote came to Bury St. Edmunds. When we take friends they always say they wish they had a Cote in their town.

Always a lovely evening out. The food is always well cooked and the staff are always on the ball and give excellent service. They do lovely breakfasts too!

Very nice meal, great service, nice atmosphere. Very accommodating as we were late. Only reason for giving 5 is because the birthday boy's menu choice was not available.

Prompt service and great food! Small area for eating out at the front, which we didn't try because quite noisy. Staff very attentive -and at £40 for two including two glasses of wine for two main courses, good value.

As always, a delicious lunch served by friendly, helpful, efficient staff. We love the Bury St Edmunds Cote, eat there frequently and the standards are always high.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch once again. I wish I could go every day. The food is always freshly cooked and so tasty; waiting staff and managers always welcoming and you are never hurried, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant was really busy, as usual but nothing was too much trouble.

The staff here are always exceptionally friendly and the food is delicious. Well worth a visit anytime of the day. the location is also ideal being central to Bury St Edmunds.

Food very good and service excellent. Everybody enjoyed the lunch. I have had breakfast there in the past and rate as one of the best. Good atmosphere, and will definitely visit for further business lunches.

We had the 10 year anniversary menu which was great value. Staff were very friendly and great service. We have been here several times before it never disappoints.

We always enjoy Cotes, but on this occasion I was unwell through no fault of Cotes, been struggling with a V&D bug, so I didnt get to eat my meal or enjoy my bubbles. Will do next time.
