A lovely place to eat. Always enjoy going to Cote.
Excellent meal and great service, could not fault at all!
Great food, good service. Have returned 4 times within 2 months. Would definitely recommend
The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive..
Always a good experience calm good service food good and atmosphere. COVID Secure well Done
Very good meal with daughter, son in law and granddaughter plus wife of course. Very relaxing with your staff being very friendly and attentive. The food was well cooked and presented and we enjoyed a good long lunch that lasted over three hours. In these difficult times it is not easy to arrange with a spread out family.
Everything was fantastic as usual. Best Cote.. really delicious food and always a lovely evening out.
Food and service excellent but ladies toilets need some attention.
Really lovely meal and delightful staff. I shall look forward to visiting again soon I hope 👍
Just love eating here... amazing food, superb staff and wine to die for!!!
Cote never disappoint. Great food. Great service. Really good evening
Once again - couldn't fault the excellent service and delicious piping hot food at lunch yesterday. I had the salmon ratatouille and the amazing creme caramel! Whilst all social distancing and safety measures were clearly in place, the place was buzzing and there was a great ambience! Will definitely return! Thank you for a lovely meal.
Excellent service and food. Felt very safe with all the COVID measures in place.
Great to eat out for the first time since lockdown.
lovely light lunch with fresh ingredients. and busy enough to have a good atmosphere.
We called in for a coffee and decided to have a small lunch as well. As with all the other Cote restaurants we have been too it was impeccably clean, very organised, perfect service and the same quality food that we have become used to. Thank you
Lovely meal this evening with outstanding service. Surprisingly busy for. Tuesday evening.
We felt very safe and comfortable, the food as usual was amazing. Can’t wait to go again.
Delicious seasonal specials, my pork tenderloin with figs was faultless.
great food .. fantastic service! Thanks for yet another great Cote experience!
Warm and welcoming and good food too. Staff very attentive
Definitely our new favourite restaurant ably managed by Gail and served by our favourite waiter Helen. We will be coming back regularly now that the top team are in residence.
Such great staff! My elderly parents with dementia come in for a meal 3 or 4 times a week. The staff know them and are very friendly despite how difficult they must sometimes be. Thank you!
Had brunch on Saturday and lunch on Sunday. Amazing food both day’s and fabulous service. My partner and I commented on the quality of the staff. Immaculately dressed, well spoken, polite and efficient,
Thank goodness we have COTE in Bury st Edmunds. Your staff are your greatest asset. Continue looking after them well.
We arrived at 12 for our reservation today Friday 2nd October. I am sorry to say that there was not a warm welcome by the the front of house. He was rude and dismissive said you were just open went away and then came back a few minutes later. We were not asked where we would like to sit, we were told where to sit which was right at the back of the restaurant and I was given the seat where I could merrily watch the swing door go backwards and forwards. There was also very loud music coming from the back of house which was not very professional. We took it upon ourselves to move to a more convivial table. The waitress who served us at this time was very abrupt most disconcerting. The customer service initially was very poor, however there was a slight improvement once we had voiced our dissatisfaction.
We don’t feel as if your Bury St Edmunds restaurant has a strong manager. We had one awful dinner. It was the haddock autumn special. The potatoes were inedible. We didn’t want our flow of meal and enjoyment spoiled and so we told them the issue and my husband requested some fries and a salad, which came quickly, which did help, but to serve up a dish like that shows a poor kitchen. We regularly eat in your London branch’s and they are excellent. We were charged full cost for the main course, but not charged for fries and salad. We felt as should have had some taken off the main course but didn’t want any confrontations or discussions. It would have been nice to be offered it voluntarily. We noticed customers leaving, looking up to see your staff to say goodbye and no one was looking, apart from one lovely waitress that seemed to clock them sometimes. We like the Bury St Edmunds restaurant and want it to do well, but the last 2 times haven’t been good at all.
Never had a bad meal at Cote, wherever we have gone. Food is yummylicious, beautifully presented, piping hot & tastes divine. Very well organised with regard to Covid, beautifully clean, fantastic service with a smile which you can see even behind the mask!! Very happy customer, Thank you Cote.
Staff really friendly, looked after our grand-daughter with fun, food lovely and the best Creme Caramel ever!
We had two courses and drinks last night and it was wonderful. The restaurant was far busier than I imagined so I was relieved when our table turned out to be at the front window of the restaurant. The food was lovely. The pork belly was gorgeous, my steak was cooked well and was not fatty. Drinks were nice too. No cocktails but a good wine selection. Our waiter was Dash. He was fantastic. I rarely leave restaurant reviews but both my husband and I were really impressed by his professional and polite attitude. He built a rapport with every table in his section. In fact We both agreed he was the best person we’ve met in hospitality for awhile. with good food, cleanliness and great service it was a lovely evening.
Professional, friendly and quick moving waiters. Thank you Team! I liked the dessert the most. Tarte au Citron was 5 stars food. Chicken Liver Parfait was too "chilled", needs to be at room T for a wile before serving. "Fish Parmentier" was testy but not 5 stars. Excess of garlic brakes the taste of Comte cheese
Excellent service and food, always enjoy my dining experience here
Great food, great service, good value for money, great atmosphere
Love eating here, always great service, love the food and the atmosphere is perfect
A massive improvement on the previous lunch experience of October3rd. Always liked your restaurant, it's menus and staff. So it was great that Tuesday's experience restored the faith. Great fig starter, wonderful pork tenderloin mains, lovely waitress. Love your red wine merlot(26). Music selection was bland muzak - could be improved.
Food was tasty service great. Social distancing observed. Good wine as sensible prices
‘Optional’ 12.5% service charge a bit of a surprise ..... but great meal much enjoyed. Thankyou.
It was my birthday and everyone was super nice and kind...when asked if I wanted a glass of prosecco I told them, I can't drink alcohol, they brought me a mock cocktail to celebrate my birthday!! And of course the food was absolutely fabulous!
Great food in pleasant surroundings, great service. Could be quicker to answer the phone.
