This was or first visit to the restaurant since COVID hit. The food was excellent as always. We did have to wait a long time for our food but we expected that as we thought there would be less staff in the kitchen. However we did not expect how busy the restaurant was. We feel that there was not really enough room between customers.Also not everyone wore a mask to come in and certainly most people did not use hand sanitizer. We did not find it a relaxing meal as it appears so many people do not follow the rules. The food was delicious but the environment uncomfortable and slightly worrying. So for now we will stick to ordering on line .

Really nice meal last night before our first cinema outing in many months. The French onion soup was delicious and the tuna in the salad Nicoise was cooked pink in the middle which is just how I like it. Lovely service - it’s great to be back to a proper evening out!

Once again lamb on the menu but no MINT or REDCURRE NT sauces available. So disappointing!

Very disappointed that the Seasonal fig cocktail wasn't available as this enticed us to go - this is also the second time time that the promotional monthly special hasn’t been available. However, food and service, as usual, very good.

My wife and I have just enjoyed the best meals we have eaten for a long time. The food was excellent, the wine perfect and the service impeccable. If you get the chance do come and eat here. It’s a great experience. Well done Cote Bury St Edmunds!

The food and service were great, but the advertised fig cocktail was a major reason behind our choice of Cote on saturday, so it was really disappointing to be told that it was not available - an October promotion on 3rd October, at 5:30pm, should be available.

Perfect as always! Love going to Cote for any reason!

We have the grand Marnier dessert which wasn’t great, the they’re of setting it on fire wasn’t matched by the overall taste

We had a lovely evening. The staff were all very pleasant. Unfortunately there was a mistake with my order which meant I had to wait for my main to be prepared again but our bill was generously discounted, which was a nice surprise. Food very nice as always.

Relaxed welcoming atmosphere, excellent service and delicious good quality food.

The food was delicious. However, we had a very long wait before being served, both for the first course and the second. I understand completely if you are very busy or short of staff. But, in this case someone should explain the situation and ask for our patience.

Had a meal at this wonderful restaurant 1/10/20. Polite and very help staff and the food was first class. Would highly recommend and would definately return.

Service was exceptional as usual and the food was delicious as always. So lovely to back out socialising even if it is still restricted.

Service very good and the table comfortable. The wine was nice but the food and its’ cooking was pretty average. Whilst the starters were nice enough, the fillet steak had to be sent back because it was so tough, the ribeye wasn’t much better. It had a massive lump of gristle and fat on one side, far more than is usual and it too was very tough. The replacement fillet steak was perfect but eating our main courses separately kind of ruined the experience! The French Beans were raw.

Felt very welcome and safe. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Food was excellent as ever - all a very pleasant evening

What we ate was delicious, but surprised at the narrow choice of main courses. Apparently there is more choice after 2 o’clock! Wine was also rather pricey

Although the restaurant was busy, being lunch time, the staff were very attentive and pleasant. We all enjoyed the meal and the time we spent "doing something normal"

A good selection to choose from for a late breakfast.
