Côte Bury St Edmunds

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Cote Brasserie, Bury St. Edmunds on Saturday evening 1st April. The food was delicious, the service very good with friendly and helpful staff. We have been before and shall be returning.

Excellent friendly service. We felt very much like valued customers. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Divine vegetarian breakfast. Coffee brought to us exactly when we wanted it. Will definitely go again.

Disappointed that the dessert we all wanted (3 of us had run out). It was early evening so we really expected that the full menu would be available.

Excellent food, cooked and presented brilliantly. The atmosphere was really relaxed and the service from staff was attentive without feeling rushed. Will most certainly return.

Great food and great service when we arrived but as we were in the middle of a shift change ( I think), we appeared to be waiting a long time for service after finishing our main course. We weren't offered dessert menus , we had to ask - just generally slow service and lack of attention which I've never experienced in Cote before and surprised about as I am a very regular customer. Sorry to be negative but have to be honest !

Fish pie meal sent back.Sauce was just leek water. Accepted by manager as deficient. Handled reasonably but no real concern over delays we experienced. Not sure we will return.

Lovely restaurant - pleasant and very helpful staff. Our meal was lovely and we were able to sample our wine before purchasing the bottle. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very good food and wine. Always interesting dishes and flavours. Friendly and efficient service. With a visit to the cinema afterwards, makes for a great night out.

We enjoyed delicious food, great service and the pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely go back to Cote in Bury St Edmunds. I highly recommend this restaurant .

Very good again at the Cote. Starter of scallops amazing,stunning. Breton chicken, what can I say, stonking. Free Cote reward wine, happy days! Be back soon.

I always thoroughly enjoy my visits to Cote in Bury St Edmunds and have been with numerous members of the family including my daughter and my mother. Even with such a large age gap (and quite fussy rrequirements), there is something to please everyone. The decor is lovely and the service professional. The choice of dishes is wide and it is always difficult choosing! The food is always absolutely delicious. I cannot praise enough the kitchen. Thank you. Denise Powell

Welcome disinterested. Cauliflower soup was watery My guest enjoyed the egg Florentine The chicken with dauphinoise potatoes was tasty. Service was rapid More cheerfulness on part of waiters would have been welcome

The only negative is the speed of the delivery of the food otherwise very good the staff are also very friendly and helpful. The food was very good

Great setting and service for a relaxed belated Mother's Day brunch with the family. A real treat! The breakfast "formule" is good value with juice, cooked breakfast and choice of hot drink.

Lovely meal and the staff did everything they could to make us comfortable and welcome. They printed off some colouring for our 4 year old which was very kind- a kids pack would be a lovely addition to the experience!

The restaurant staff are always friendly and professional. For us the menu has a good choice and all our visits to Cote have been good with good food

Wonderful food, excellent service, great wine. What more can we say, oh yes...Gluten free options too, wonderful for our family members who are Coeliacs. Highly recommend.

My food was good. The kids menu could be better(chicken was dry) The staff service was excellent! Great experience overall. I will probably return for sure.

The food is amazing and the staff are all very polite and courteous! I was stood up for my date tonight and the servers made me feel like I really didn't care!

Very good service and food. Lovely evening. Tiny minus points were we were kept waiting a few minutes for one of our parties main course to arrive and the free bottle of wine for joining the rewards scheme was added to the bill. Small points as both were rectified quickly. Overall a very good meal.

Solid service when it was packed. Food was delicious and hot. Staff were very pleasant and did the little things like taking your coat and opening the door for you

We enjoyed ourselves but service was unusually a little bit hit & miss. Went there as my son loves the garlic bread starter only to find it was sold out. ( A big deal for a kid with autism). Otherwise up to their good usual standard.

Wonderful brunch and the gluten free version was just as good. Lovely staff and a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. Would Highly recommend.

We had to wait a long time for our drinks ending up asking where they were. Our breakfast arrived but my son was half way through eating his full English and the toast hadn't arrived so we had to ask for it. The staff were friendly enough and the food was good. I know they were busy because it was Mother's Day but they were pretty basic errors

My favourite place to eat locally with family or business partners, a perfect meal with a lovely atmosphere. Lovely menu which never disappoints. I would highly recommend a visit here

Lovely food, lovely staff, very efficient booking system. Would definitely return. We went on Mother's Day and the restuarant was packed but this did not affect the service we received.

Excellent service, imaginative, delicious and well presented food in comfortable and pleasant surroundings. Very convenient for the town centre and a welcome break after shopping.

Cote was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary with our friends great staff, perfect setting and most importantly the excellent food beautifully presented and real value for money.

Booked for 8 people for Mother's Day lunch. Staff very polite, didn't rush us with our order. Good menu choice as we had family from 10years to 96 years old! Everyone enjoyed their food, good portions. Would go again.

I was disappointed they got our order wrong but it was put right and they were very apologetic which went a long wang to put it right.

Really enjoyed our meal, very polite and efficient service, whole restaurant impeccably clean! We have now been to this restaurant a few times and intend to come again!

Lovely food and friendly staff. Child friendly too. Always enjoy our visits to the Bury st Edmunds branch. Also wonderful for gluten free diets, makes you feel very confident to eat there

Breakfast at cotes is really good value for money .the formula breakfast offers a range of meals plus fruit juice and tea or coffee Service is very good

Quick efficient service, courteous staff, excellent food and wine. A really good and relaxed meal. This was not my first visit and certainly not my last.
