Excellent meal as always. Service quick and efficient. We were not rushed at all, time to wait to order desserts and coffee. Problems when paying due to technical hitch but staff apologetic. Will definitely visit again - especially for Breton fish stew.

We came here for a birthday celebration. It was a lovely occasion. The food and atmosphere were great and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable.

Really disappointing, having booked to have the French 75 Menu for a a party of 5 we arrived at 18.30 and were advised that the cocktail “was off” as there were no lemons left! Strange that when our Calamari arrived that there was a lemon! A Kir Royale was offered as an alternative- the ONLY alternative! and we were also told the April Special pudding was also off. As we had come for the April menu this was also disappointing. Whilst I felt really sorry for the staff who were lovely throughout, I feel very frustrated by the whole Côte experience. 1) please don’t put out a seasonal offer that you can’t deliver 2) please don’t give an excuse which is clearly a lie! 3) if things run out please (which they clearly will) offer more than one alternative 4) hearing the tables next us complain on the same points as us doesn’t make for a nice atmosphere for dining, especially from 18.30 in the early evening! Based on this dreadful experience I will not be returning or recommending Côte to friends, family or business colleagues and will stay away.

Usual high standard of Food and service , you can always rely on Cote , which ever one you choose , we use the brand a lot and very rarely have a cause for complaint , when we have , it’s sorted immediate without any fuss at all

Whenever we are in the capital we eat here. It was very busy in Cardiff and in the restaurant and we had a table upstairs. We were served promptly and the quality was excellent. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Really enjoyed the good food, service and pleasant surrounding. Waiter, when we paid the bill, even explained the 12.5% tip. First time ever this has happened and we are regular Cote visitors in Cardiff and London.

Plenty of restaurant choices in central Cardiff. Been to Cote Cheltenham and had an excellent meal so decided to give Cardiff a go, with the deal clincher being a free Blood Orange Martini with an a la carter main dish. What a good marketing incentives. Had the half chicken and frites with wild mushroom sauce-delicious. Nice bustling atmosphere and quick pre-concert service without being rushed. Will be back

Fast and efficient service with delicious food. We were attending a “Night at the Proms” with the amazing Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra at St. David’s Hall so a great start to the evening.

Celebrated our daughters 8th birthday and the restaurant staff could not do enough for her! Her dessert was made very special with birthday wishes etched on the plate. Food was outstanding, love this place!

We go to Cote in Cardiff Centre & the Bay because the food is always excellent at a good price with service that is always so focused on your requirements. Nothing too much trouble. Staff work as a team and seem to enjoy their work. Today was no exception in Cardiff Centre and the female manager on front of house was delightful, welcoming and funny. We then had a great experience at St Davids Hall this afternoon listening to Karl Jenkins's music. Perfect

The weather was exceptional for February and we wanted to sit outside which was no problem for the staff they were very accommodating, even though they were very busy.

Girlie lunch to celebrate a birthday. Staff got it just right.There when we wanted them. Food was lovely and very good value. Two new converts to fennel as a veggie.

Main course disappointing, Paulette roti dry and pototesa not cooked properly, limited mustard sauce, seemed as if food had been precooked and standing for a while, very unlike the times we had visited before. Service good but food disappointing. Also sat in the middle of the restaurant where both tables were available, lacked ambiance. Very unlike our other visits.

Very friendly staff. Everything ordered came out quite quickly even though the restaurant was really busy. Each dish was delicious. Only slight gripe was that I wish the tables for two were a little bigger. Was worried about knocking something off. But another great meal at the fabulous Cote. Thank you.
