Staff were attentive and engaging Really helpful in accommodating my elderly aunt’s wheelchair and seating requirements. Food as always very good, although pissaladiere was a tad over grilled. Great coffee!

As usual we enjoyed a pre theatre meal in Cote .We took advantage of the cocktail offer this March and it was a very enjoyable start to the evening .

Great staff, great food, excellent service. In for rugby day and we had a great experience! Food was served quickly and to the excellent standard you would get on a standard Saturday evening. Thanks to the Cote Cardiff team!

Great food and service. Seating was not what I'd asked for, despite having booked a week in advance, but there were no better options on the night (they obviously don't read your requests and preferences when taking a booking). Probably try somewhere else next time though, but it was fine otherwise.

Enjoyed a great meal wonderful staff meal was well executed Thank you Zoltan you are a credit to the company almost as much as the creme caramel.

We came here for a birthday celebration. It was a lovely occasion. The food and atmosphere were great and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable.

The savoy cabbage with the pork belly was not great but after pointing this out to the waiter , who apologised and offered recompense. Would prefer to have a little time between course ( but understand how busy the restaurant is) otherwise lovely experience.

Really lovely staff & love the efficiency of the comi waiters. Very popular even early evening and so advise a booking. Good value specials & early evening menus.

Côte offer fabulous service and tasty meals. It’s one of my favourite places to have a romantic meal or socialise with close friends. The staff are always welcoming and very clued up on their wines and range of meals. 10 out of 10 from me!

Gorgeous food, brilliant staff and lovely atmosphere. The staff were helpful, polite and went above and beyond to give us a brilliant experience. The food was quick and delicious.

Meal inedible overcooked belly pork. Only eat vegetables that came with meal. Did offer to change but due to time constraints unable to wait. This was a special occasion so spoilt our day.

Wonderful breakfast and great value. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We both had the eggs benedict on the cooked breakfast deal with a hot drink and fresh juice.

Excellent meal and ambience at Cardiff City Cote Brasserie.. Very good coice of menu with 2 or couse set menus available. Attentive waiting staff and manager. Would highly recommend.

I ordered asparagus soup which turned out to be green potato soup with the slightest hint of asparagus. Who makes asparagus soup with potato and if you do then it needs to be called such on the menu. Very disappointed. I asked for my sea bream to be slightly undercooked as it is nearly always overlooked in restaurants and it arrived flesh side down on a boiling hot plate! It didn’t need to be cooked at all if served this way. It was advertised as on courgette purée - it was pea which I don’t like, and a broad bean ragout or some such which again was peas! Is this misrepresentation of the menu allowed? What has happened to this chain which once was so good and reliable? Going the way of Jamies - beware.

Food superb, cooked to perfection. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Although they were extremely busy service was very good. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Plenty of restaurant choices in central Cardiff. Been to Cote Cheltenham and had an excellent meal so decided to give Cardiff a go, with the deal clincher being a free Blood Orange Martini with an a la carter main dish. What a good marketing incentives. Had the half chicken and frites with wild mushroom sauce-delicious. Nice bustling atmosphere and quick pre-concert service without being rushed. Will be back

We visited on Wales v Ireland...Grand Slam evening and so the atmosphere was very lively. But the food and service could not be faulted. We had booked ahead and our table was ready for us even though they were busy. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend.

We go to Cote in Cardiff Centre & the Bay because the food is always excellent at a good price with service that is always so focused on your requirements. Nothing too much trouble. Staff work as a team and seem to enjoy their work. Today was no exception in Cardiff Centre and the female manager on front of house was delightful, welcoming and funny. We then had a great experience at St Davids Hall this afternoon listening to Karl Jenkins's music. Perfect

Excellent authentic provincial French cooking. Attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. Perfect!

Main course disappointing, Paulette roti dry and pototesa not cooked properly, limited mustard sauce, seemed as if food had been precooked and standing for a while, very unlike the times we had visited before. Service good but food disappointing. Also sat in the middle of the restaurant where both tables were available, lacked ambiance. Very unlike our other visits.

My wife and I had a wonderful three course meal at the restaurant washed down by a fabulous French red wine. The starter of French Onion soup was delicious,followed by Pan Fried Haddock which simply cooked to perfection. My wife's chicken meal was tasty and again perfectly cooked.To end the peach crumble was fabulous but could have done with more!! Service was very professional,not rushed and made it a nice experience. Although the wine was a little pricey we look forward to returning.
