Fabulous service, great atmosphere, reliable food and excellent value for money

We have been to cote brasserie several times and the food is very nice. However, the service was poor with a very standoffish waiter who never warm up to us. Disappointing evening and we will go to Cote Brasserie in Chelmsford to explain our reasons.

Always an excellent meal at Cote Chelmsford. The service is always friendly, welcoming and professional. The new March menu was delicious and the crime caramel is out of this world!

As superb as usual, the staff were attentive and as we normally enjoy the whole experience that’s why we normally eat there once a week, just to make sure Vince,Laura and the team keep up the wonderful standards, and they do 🤟🏽

I consider your offering to be one of the best in the chain restaurant arena. The food was tasty and well presented and I was particularly impressed with our delightful Italian waitress called Adrianna. The staff gave the impression of enjoying their work and that always adds value to the eating experience.

I’ve only previously eaten breakfast at Côte which is always good! Our meal last night was excellent Tuna Nicoise was amazing - staff were attentive but not overly so! Well done Côte for getting it right!

Booked a table online. Greeted by a very pleasant manager (female), food delicious and my gluten free diet (Coeliac) catered for, reasonably priced. Always chose a Cote Brassiere because of the gluten free options.

Nice food and quick service. It is one of the best places to go in Chelmsford

The food is always good but my first criticism ever today was the service. Our waitress seemed moody and even slightly rude. The restaurant wasn’t at all busy, so it wasn’t that she was rushed off her feet. She didn’t even clear our empty cocktail glasses from the table before or after our meal. In fact they were still there when we paid the bill! The manager was pleasant as always though. The service is usually fantastic but I felt today it wasn’t very good. Sadly that impacts on the atmosphere.

This is by far the best restaurant in Chelmsford both for service and quality of food. On arrival we are always greeted by lovely staff who could not do more for us, the food is always beautifully cooked and the service impeccable. We love Cote even choosing to have lunch to celebrate our wedding there - where we were thoroughly spoiled by the team. We can not recommend Cote enough - it’s the restaurant we return to time and again

We enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Cote Brasserie, Chelmsford. The service was excellent and the food, to be honest, far better than expected. I would recommend this restaurant and my friends and I will definitely return.

Today was a family lunch for four and we dined from the Set Lunch Menu. Despite the restaurant being very busy we enjoyed great service. All three courses were excellent and well presented. We should do this more often.

Oh gosh, it was beautiful, the staff make you feel welcome from the second you walk through their door. They have patience with you and always maintain their good customer service. The food is so fresh and very well cooked so good for value for money. I defo will be going back for sure.

The menu at Cote is what you would expect in a good brasserie in France, with something for everyone and it doesn’t disappoint. It would be great if there was a selection of specials alongside the standard menu for greater choice when visiting, Sadly, our service last night was at best mediocre from a rather haughty waiter with a topknot - he needs to re-read his job description - but can still recommend Côte for good food, atmosphere and value.
