Good staff main menu a bit high priced, but food nice. Good location in Chelmsford centre near Cathedral. Near by shops offer a good range of products and interest.

We had a good time and a good meal. The only thing that marred the experience was the amount of noise coming from a nearby birthday party.

Had a lovely evening at Cote with a group of friends. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I enjoyed my lunch today. I am wheat and dairy intolerant so I it was nice to eat my favourite food which is fish and seafood I had the fish stew and it was very tasty. I will be returning xx

I requested a nice table - specifically because it was my daughters birthday. The restaurant was not busy and we were made to sit at the back near the exit for the bins. Even though the rest of the restaurant was pretty empty on the other side and at the front. Plus a bin was taken out by our table trying to hide it by covering it with a Napkin! Which does not hide the smell. Plus the back door was left open so a cold drought was coming in - had to be asked to close it. 2 waitresses decided it was a good idea to also stand on a chair and organise the glasses at the workstation whilst we were eating our lunch. Altogether very disappointing & we chose cote over other restaurants. I would think twice now about coming. Waste of time making a request.

This is the best restaurant in Chelmsford. The welcome is always genuinely warm and friendly, the service excellent and the food fresh and delicious. I have never had a bad meal...can't say that about other restaurants in the town.

As always a very enjoyable lunch with friends, Cote never disappoints, great food, friendly and efficient staff and very good value for money, we’ll be back.

We thought the fixed price menus were good value for a good choice of quality food. We were made welcome by staff. Unfortunately, there were a couple of errors with our order and one led to a delay with our mains. It was just as well that portion sizes of starters are generous!

We had a fantastic night, celebrating my twin daughters 21st birthday, we were are party of six, all of us had a three course meal with drinks. All the food was of a very high standard, excellent throughout, as was the service, the manager and all the staff went out of their way to make the evening very special. We will definitely be returning very soon.

Dried out food left under the hot light for too long and surly waiter. Realised why they didn’t really care when 12.5% service automatically added. Won’t be returning.

Oh gosh, it was beautiful, the staff make you feel welcome from the second you walk through their door. They have patience with you and always maintain their good customer service. The food is so fresh and very well cooked so good for value for money. I defo will be going back for sure.

We arranged to hold a 90th birthday celebration lunch for my mother with the manager at Côte Chelmsford for a party of 14. Ages ranged from 6 to 90. All the preparatory work was handled very well. We felt confident that Côte would deliver the event that we wanted..... and they did! On the day, the staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and gave us excellent service. The meal was delicious, everyone was very happy with their choices and very full by the end! The atmosphere was just right: we were given enough attention to make it feel special without overwhelming us. Thanks Côte. We’ll be back!
