Visited Chelmsford Cotes having been to Amersham and Ealing regularly and they all offer consistent food quality with excellent service ! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

A warm and genuine welcome followed by the most gorgeous birthday dinner. The steak tartare - divine, the simple tuna nicoise - amazing, fresh and tasty, rounded off with clean, fresh lemon sorbet. Cannot recommend Cote Brasserie enough. Great staff, great service in a wonderful atmosphere

This restaurant is consistent in delivering delicious food and pleasant efficient service. I had the tuna carpaccio starter and cod. The food was hot- always necessary. Our waiter Lissandro was really wonderful and smiley. It's on my list of regular restaurants in Chelmsford

Great lunch time visit. With friendly staff, a good selection on the menu. Attentive service, able to fit in a lunchtime team lunch with minimum waiting. Good value.

On our visit to the cote brassiere we had a very warm welcome and it had a very friendly warm atmosphere, Our waitress was very polite and helpful, The food was to a high standard and would not hesitate in recommending family and friends

This was my second visit to Cotes Chelmsford. Good experience the first time and just as good the second time. We received great service. The manager went out of his way to fulfil our requests. Food was delicious and the prices very reasonable, especially the wine by the glass. Really lovely evening and will be returning.

Service was excellent from first 'til last. The food was without fault and thoroughly enjoyed by all. As a result, I think you will find that our two guests may prove to be new customers. They had not visited the restaurant before.

Service poor with a miserable waitress. Some dishes don't come with sides whereas others come with either vegetables or potatoes and some dishes came with everything. So very inconsistent!

Excellent service! We had eaten out starter and main within the hour. They're very efficient but don't make you feel rushed at all. Food is delicious. I will definitely be going back!

Lovely to be greeted at the door. Food and service were excellent. There was an issue with one main course, but this was rectified so quickly and with so little fuss, that it did not marr the evening. Will visit again.

The lunch offer is great value and you can have 2 or 3 courses so very flexible. Even when on offer its still tasty & good quality food. Service is impeccable.

Food was reasonable but service very poor. We waited ages for dessert, coffee and bill. Had to remind staff. Think it is terrible that an "optional" 12.5% service charge is put on bill. We couldn't be bothered to argue about the service charge as we just wanted to leave and the waiting staff were nowhere to be seen. When we arrived someone opened the door for us and chatted as they took us to the table. No one to open the door when we left or even a "goodbye thank you for coming" comment. Clearly they can't cope if the restuarant is busy.

We enjoyed another lovely evening at Chelmsford Cote - all the food was great but the crème brulee and dessert wine was absolutely delicious. The service, as always, was excellent.t

This was our fourth visit and they have all been as great as the last. Friendly and attentive staff. Their set menu is fantastic value for money and it is also updated every month!

Cote Brasserie in Chelmsford was rather noisy and service at times a little slow but overall the food was excellent and we would certainly visit again.

Good value lunchtime menu. However the service was exceptionally slow to the point that two of my guests had to leave before dessert and coffee.
