The restaurant looks attractive and the service was friendly and not rushed which we appreciated. Unfortunately one main course was served which was the wrong order, so that had to go back. It was taken off our bill which was good but nevertheless it was a bit disappointing having to wait for the correct meal to arrive. The vegetarian menu is extensive but unfortunately most items were a little bland, hence only 3 stars (most of our party were vegetarian or vegan).

We all enjoyed our lunchtime meal. The wine we chose was very pleasant. An error with one of our meals was dealt with the minimum of fuss. The whole experience was enjoyable and one we shall repeat. The olives in the salads nicoise would benefit by not being chopped so small. A small quibble.

Great food and great service is our experience at both the Worcester and Cheltenham branches. Cote also have a great Reward program ~ we had an excellent bottle of wine valued at £25 with our most recent meal for FREE. Giving everybody else a very high standard to beat! What's not to like!

We were sat next to a 'hen party' of 13. Impossible to converse with our guests. Eventually moved but still surrounded by noisy people. Restaurant far too noisy for any meaningful conversation.

Excellent service, delicious food and with an ambience that lends itself well to all occasions. Our waiter was such a lovely man who did a great job. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Cheltenham.

We went for dinner on a busy Friday night. We had a great meal out-fantastic service from knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff and lovely food. Overall thought it was good value for money.

Our group visits the Cote once a month, but this time we were a little disappointed with the cuisine. The calamari portions were small and the Croque Monsieur was too tough. The vegetarian main course was limited to a salad with too much lettuce. However, we like the venue and the staff are always attentive.

As usual great food and excellent friendly service. An enjoyable dining experience. We are very regular customers because of these main ingredients. Regards Barry Bettany

Food good as always , Waiter not so friendly, my opinion they are getting their tips anyway so they don't always care. (Pity as it is a great venue and food consistently good.

Food and service was excellent, they added the "optional" 12.5% tip automatically, which I found very off putting and unnecessary for a table of two, after such a nice meal.

I tried the 3 course lunch menu. The choices were good, the food well cooked and tasty and the portion size was ideal for a lunchtime. The fish main course did not come with potatoes, which were needed and were an additional price. The meal was excellent value for money. Service was attentive and prompt whilst not hurried.

We had the plaice and the haddock both of which were perfectly cooked. Wine good as was the service. Highly recommended. Always reasonably priced and well presented.

Consistently good food and service, Cote never fails to please. Despite being late for our booking they had held on to our requested table and although they add a service charge to the bill which I don't usually like, the service was good and very deserving of the charge.

Cote' is one of our favourite restaurants in Cheltenham and always been good, not so good this time. Table was booked for 8pm but not seated for 20 minutes, then 15 minutes for drinks to arrive. My main was chicken in creamy mushroom sauce served with fried potatoes but was served with dauphinois so all a bit too creamy ! Chicken breast was also very dry and overcooked. Just one of those evenings....will be going back though.

We enjoyed our food, as always. We like Cote because the food is well cooked, interesting and the portions are not too big - which means I can manage 2 and sometimes 3 courses. In addition the staff were courteous, helpful but not intrusive. We will be back.

Lovely meal. Slightly let down by the crepe desert as it was very chewy and cold. 1st choice main course wasn't available, even though it was the special!

Early dinner: good food, decent wine by the glass & ok service. Steak cooked to specification (medium rare) and tasty fish stew. An enjoyable experience.

It is always a good experience at Cote, consistent quality and cheerful waiters and waitresses. It is good value for money particularly before 19.00! Very enjoyable.

Today they were brilliant. The lamb chops were as good. if not better, than hyped places twice the cost. The salad of mushroom, avocado and mozzarella was innovative and excellent. Can't wait to go back for the seared scallops

As always an excellent meal and service at lunch time. We always enjoy our visits to any Cote Brasserie but especially like Wokingham and Cheltenham.

The cauliflower soup and mushrooms on toast just exuded flavour and were perfectly constructed. The hake and lemon chicken off the set menu were also excellent and a such good value. You cannot fault the friendly attentive service here. It is a pleasure to come every time.

A lovely evening and fab food but a few mistakes. The food itself was great, but we received the wrong food on both the starter and main and had to wait whilst these were sent back to the kitchen. We were also missing items from our order and had to wait to get these. It's a shame because the atmosphere and food was great. Would have expected the front of house team to be more apologetic.

I am a frequent diner at your restaurant. Hitherto everything had been great. However on my last visit things went wrong. Our table did not have the normal attention paid to it. We had to ask for cutlery and side plates. An attentive staff would have seen to these. The dish I ordered was French Onion Soup. What I received was a parody of that noble French dish - large slices of bread coated with a glutinous matter almost filling the bowl with a very low ratio of liquid to solid.

We came for a surprise birthday evening out and had a great time all around. The service was quick and very friendly. Good choice of food for meat eaters and veggies. Dessert was brought out at the same time and with a candle which was very appreciated. Would definitely recommend.
