Good service, lovely food. We have been to Cote Brasseries several times before, but were introducing it to our friends who say they will certainly return.

Although they had an issue with their booking system going down. On one of their busiest days they appeared to cope extremely well and we were offered adequate compensation for the problems. The food was excellent as always as was the service. Would recommend.

Efficient staff - not too interfering, getting the balance right. Food is consistent irrespective of which Cote you use , and of a good quality.

Good location, lovely view from top window. Nice staff, good food. Good value. Don't like service charge being put on bill, would give tip anyway

Had a delicious breakfast for Mother's Day, excellent staff who were very efficient and accommodating. Would recommend to anybody looking for a nice place to eat!

The table allocated was up a steep flight of stairs which proved difficult for two in the party. The service was slick but a large group came in and the noise levels were so high that we could not converse. The waitress was not helpful but a second member of staff did offer to move us. We finished out main courses and moved to the lower floor for dessert and coffee. We did not like the suggested gratuity being added on to the bill. They forgot to add in the coffees so we paid enough to cover all we had had but did not leave a tip. I will not be returning in the near future as the discomfort of the building outweighs the good food.

.no benefit to us to have free wine. There were 4 of us having set menu at lunchtime so free bottle not allowed we were looking forward to it!

Excellent meal and attentive service as ever. The boudin noir starter was particularly good. I would certainly have that again. My only problem was with the new online booking system. I had to phone the restaurant to check that my booking had been received as I didn't receive an email confirmation.

The evening didn't start too well but improved as time wore on. We had a reservation at 8:00 pm but had to wait as our table hadn't been set up after the last visitors had left. We were also told that various menu choices were no longer available. Not really a problem but what did become a problem was that we noticed there was no cutlery laid on the table. OK, so they'll bring it with the meal, we thought. We ordered our drinks, starters and main meals and in due course the starters turned up - some hot, some cold. Problem was, we still had no cutlery! We asked about it and it appeared there wasn't any. We had to wait with the hot starters cooling off while the staff washed up knives and forks which took well over ten minutes. We have been to Cote many times and this was a first for them and certainly a first for any restaurant we'd ever been to before. However, in mitigation, it was a Bank Holiday Monday as well as the last day of the Cheltenham Jazz Festival and our booking was slightly later than usual. We guessed the restaurant had been exceptionally busy that evening. I must also add though, that the food was very good and we did all enjoy our evening and will certainly be returning. The service was also good with the staff coping well after what must have been a very tiring day.

Mothering Sunday was a busy day and our late-minute, on-line booking was for 3pm. Staff had obviously had a busy time and people were queuing. Staff were still friendly and attentive. Meal was delicious. Would recommend.

Service was less than the normal standard, due to overbooking due to an new booking system they said. Will still go back regardless. They did offer to remove the service but I did not as it was not the waiters fault.

Always a pleasure to go to Cote. Menu choices were sufficiently extensive and the food was excellent as usual. Service was very good as usual with special mention needed for very good service from Denise.

Great food and good service but the very small table in what felt like a corridor lost it a point. Have been before and would definitely return. Exceptional salad!

We regularly go to the Cheltenham restaurant, however tonight was a bit on the slower side. We are great fans normally...great food, service and value for money . Tonight they seemed a bit short staffed etc that we had to ask for extra drinks and plates & glasses were not cleared. We still had a nice meal but just not as good as normal.

We do Love this place although the steak this last visit wasn't as good as usual. I believe they have changed the supplier. Otherwise service etc was good. Will definitely go back and will definitely recommend it.

Service was good and quick, food just nothing special. I couldn't feel french taste unfortunately. Interior design like from the best french places, but it was just english food in french areola.

Very busy. Food good. They forgot to put our main course order through and we were in a hurry to go to a concert so we had to wait about 45 mins for the main course. However, they did manage to rectify the situation, apologised and reduced our bill by more than half without being asked which was a very nice gesture. We will go again.

Excellent value for money and a better selection of dishes than other competetor Enjoyed the Roquefort salad and the Sea Bream. Chocolate pot always a good dessert with coffee

For a chain they do things very well. Carefully constructed menu and staff who are happy to engage. Excellent fixed price value and inventive marketing offers. Clearly doing well and deserves to.

Good quality food and wine, nice table in a very pleasant restaurant spoiled by inconsistent service. Service was very good to begin but from collecting our plates after main course the waitress ignored us for more than 35 minutes. My wife went to see the manager at the greeting point and he dealt with the issue very efficiently. Sadly the waitress never came to apologise, just to say sorry would have been good. The manager did not charge for our deserts and removed the service charge when requested. This could have been a very favourable review if not for this lapse by the waitress.

Dissapointed when complimentary Kir Royals on my birthday were not complimentary,even though six people had 2 courses for lunch.Food good as always Doesn't state has to be a la carte on terms and conditions.

This was a lunchtime spent in comfortable surroundings using the special menu which had a very good selection of Starters, Mains and Desserts. Our three course meals were delightful, the service throughout was excellent, quick and efficient and for two of us including a glass of wine the bill total was £40. Superb - we shall return !

Such nice staff. I go about once a week. Easy. About fifteen minutes walk from my house. Always choose a quiet table, favourite upstairs in the window.

Service was polite but very slow, the restaurant was not busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff but we waited 10/15 mins to have plates cleared after both starter and main. Lovely starters, French onion soup and calamari very good. Underwhelming mains, warm goats cheese salad was mostly lettuce, tiny salmon fish cakes. Lovely deserts, chocolate fondant rich and oozy, lemon tarte zingy and fresh. Just the rather slow service that let the experience down. Would return I think.

Very nice food, although didn't like the fact that they automatically added a 12.5 percent service charge to our bill, only a table of four, although I guess that's the way they work - other than that all was very good.

Good service and all of us liked the food that we'd ordered. It was all rather salty for my taste, and a couple of the starters were not available which was disappointing as I would have preferred one of them.

Good service on a busy night. Tasty wel cooked food. Lighting a little dim but that is very French anyway! Polite and helpful staff as always.
