Food, service and atmosphere were all spot on. This is a great location, good value, tasty food and perfect for a quick lunch or a more leisurely dinner....one of our favourites.

We had a wonderful breakfast! There was plenty of choice, including delicious veggie options, all representing excellent value for money. We felt at ease in this welcoming restaurant and we were very impressed with the quality of food and friendly service. We can highly recommend it!

Service was not up to the normal standard. Side dish of beans was very mean collared to past visits. Food was otherwise extremely good as per normal. X

Poor service.Think they forgot our order.This in a virtually empty brasserie.With a booking for seven for breakfast{including 3 children}is not ok.However the bill was reduced.Food ok,but a 40 minute wait took the edge off our appetite.

We had a very enjoyable meal on Friday 24.03.17 although we had a bit of a problem with the free bottle of wine which I down loaded on the internet. The waiter said that there was no record of me signing up for the free bottle of wine. After a long argument and me saying that i would not be eating there again as it was the second this had happened, the waiter relented and gave us the wine. We went on to have a very nice evening despite the trouble with the wine. S Griffin

Service a little slow, otherwise fine! Food was hot and tasty. Atmosphere pleasant. Can't think of more to say Minimum is a bit too high.

Nice welcome by young lady, but then negligent table service to take orders. I don't like waving to catch the eye. By the way, the mark-up on wine is excessive.

Food was very good, had to wait 10 mins for table reserved for 8.30 and service was slower than previous experience - maybe because it was a Saturday night

This is one or our favourite restaurants which we go to regularly. The staff are always friendly offering a good service and food. We also like the atmosphere.

It was ok but, not enthralled with my starter French onion soup which was a bowl of chopped onion with a large crouton on the top which I had to take out of the soup because it would not break down with the spoon

The standard of service and the quality of food was up to our expectation bearing in mind that we are returning customers, Would recommend this chain to anyone who appreciates standard French cuisine. Not high end but then neither are the prices.. Will visit again.

Really good Sea Bass; very fresh and delicately cooked. Friendly staff as always, They coped well on a busy evening, hope they can maintain these high standards even though a chain.

Excellent food and enjoyable atmosphere. Staff are helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Only wish they served more vegetables with their main courses. Steak fries needs peas or onions

Service was fab. Menu was great. Asparagus wasn't cooked! I have never seen it cut lengthways before. Perhaps it makes it look more on the plate. Despite the undercooked asparagus I will definitely be back.

Very good meal and prompt service. My potted shrimps were delicious, and so was the smoked cod that we both ate. Booking on-libne is very easy.

Nice food. Think the waitress forgot to take our food order as she took orders from another table that came in after us and then we had to call her over to order, but she was still very friendly and food arrived promptly.

Great food and friendly service. Waiter needed a couple of prompts to bring the requested water but the essentials were well done. Will go again.

Excellent food, attentive and friendly service. We requested a quiet (if possible) table because two of our guests were elderly and hard of hearing and this was accommodated as far as was possible for the restaurant. Very impressed.

great food! good staff but service a little slow…..when I ordered a second glass of wine the waitress brought a second beer for my husband that he didn't order and no wine for me. This was later rectified but not for about 10/15 mins. Having said this the restaurant was busy and overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Poor service - very long wait for a table that had been booked. Generally the food was not great, my blue steak had to be returned as it was well done. However, it's a nice place. We went on Mothers Day and I felt they over booked and as a result the experience was compromised

As usual, we had a superb evening in what we believe to be one of Cheltenham's most delightful restaurants. From the moment we arrived and were shown to our table by Charlotte, the evening went superbly well. Excellent staff and really well prepared food. Perfect!

Nice place, food was quite good but portion size could have been a little more generous. Service included in the bill at 12.5% seemed a little excessive for a quick and small main meal.

Lunchtime meal was excellent value. The food was delicious and portion sizes good. The service was a little slow as the restaurant was very busy....and the tip is already added for you so no real opportunity to reflect the views on service in the payment. All round I would recommend this restaurant highly.

Great food as always, staff very attentive and look after you nothing was to much trouble.Even though it was busy we were not kept waiting .We will be back

I was disappointed on this visit to Cote, previous visits have been fine, but there didn't seem to be enough staff on duty, the manager spent most of the evening chatting to some guests, I presume they were friends of his, and we could not attract anyones attention to order our desserts, service was terribly slow - we were the last guests left in the restaurant and it seemed as if the few staff that were on duty were more concerned about tidying up and going home.

Beautifully presented restaurant in lovely old bank building. Staff were prompt and very courteous, punctual service, great food. Selected from the lunchtime special menu, excellent value. Will return.

Food was good as always but, although our starter arrived in good time, we then waited a very, very long time for our main course. Our waitress chased it up but staff then arrived with someone else's order and we waited a further time for our meals. Although they were busy, it was Cheltenham Jazz Festival, other people were getting their meals served much quicker. As it was we had to forego our dessert to get to the concert in time. Disappointing. However the plus side was that we were not charged for my meal and my husband had a complimentary glass of wine. Overall I felt they responded positively but I know my husband will be reluctant to go back soon unfortunately.

My friend and I had excellent service, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food we ordered was excellent. We enjoyed the experience immensely.

The meal was very good but the restaurant was too busy. The service throughout was slow with a long wait even to order our first drinks on arrival. Having been to cote many times, it seems they are booking in more people they can comfortably cater for.

Excellent, staff great and food spot on. Forgot one of the side dishes but the food and services more than made up for it. Happy.
