Côte Cheltenham

This was a lunchtime spent in comfortable surroundings using the special menu which had a very good selection of Starters, Mains and Desserts. Our three course meals were delightful, the service throughout was excellent, quick and efficient and for two of us including a glass of wine the bill total was £40. Superb - we shall return !

good meal - quite busy and service was acknowledged as being slow - I really don't see why I have to write 25 words when 12 will do!

First rate service With a wide and varied menu selection and delicious food. Caters well for vegetarians too. Friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend and we will be back soon.

Such nice staff. I go about once a week. Easy. About fifteen minutes walk from my house. Always choose a quiet table, favourite upstairs in the window.

Service was polite but very slow, the restaurant was not busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff but we waited 10/15 mins to have plates cleared after both starter and main. Lovely starters, French onion soup and calamari very good. Underwhelming mains, warm goats cheese salad was mostly lettuce, tiny salmon fish cakes. Lovely deserts, chocolate fondant rich and oozy, lemon tarte zingy and fresh. Just the rather slow service that let the experience down. Would return I think.

First time visiting the Cheltenham Cote and love the building to start with. The restaurant was very busy but we didn't have to wait for our table. Menu choice always good and waiters very prompt with drinks and service throughout. A very enjoyable evening and will return again.

Very nice food, although didn't like the fact that they automatically added a 12.5 percent service charge to our bill, only a table of four, although I guess that's the way they work - other than that all was very good.

Good food and service even though it was busy. Nice place with a real french feel. We have eaten their a number of times and will return.

Excellent value for money and a better selection of dishes than other competetor Enjoyed the Roquefort salad and the Sea Bream. Chocolate pot always a good dessert with coffee

Staff very pleasant, choice of food and wine very good and overall a very pleasant dining experience, we were almost finished our meal when a large party arrived and they were rather noisy, but overall no complaints

It's a fun bustling environment with food and staff who do their best to make you feel good. The dishes are well thought out, tasty, cleverly presented and well portioned so the "offers" actually probably still carry a healthy margin. When busy, which it nearly always is because of its proposition, it's understaffed so be prepared to keep attracting the attention you need.

as usual a good varied set lunchtime menu. always a great atmosphere, good service and high quality food ! highly recommended - i try to go every week !

Our first visit to Cote Brasserie, Cheltenham and certainly won't be our last! The service was very good, staff were attentive without being too intrusive. there were no long delays between ordering and the food being served also pace between courses was good. We all liked the choose on the menu and felt the variety offered would ensure a return visit in the very near future. Many thanks we had a very enjoable evening.

Everyone is so sociable and friendly. Our waiter a delight. Its a regular trip and it never lets us down. Thank you for my Birthday Kia. Love our regular table upstairs by the window looking over the town.

Excellent service. Polite and helpful. Dinner was also great particularly the creme caramel - best I've ever eaten. Well done to all the staff - not easy to keep such a high standard during one of the busiest nights of the year - race week in Cheltenham.. top marks,

Have enjoyed n London and Cheltenham in the past (other than onion soup).Not as good as in the past - food only warm and not as good value as we remember.

Easy to book on line. Helpful staff to greet. Respectful and helpful waiter and delicious food. Even the bread and olives were of good quality.

Great service, excellent food. Staff are knowledgable and very polite. The crab starter is delicious. Sit upstairs if you can, it's quieter. The fillet steak is a quality cut and the chef knows how to cook a good steak.

Service wasn't great . Very long waiting for a dessert and certainly not deserving of the 12.5% gratuity that is automatically included. The dessert included in the set menu was very very tiny and certainly not plentiful. The Breton chicken from the a la crate menu was very tasty and enjoyed.

very busy due to the races, but coped well. The chicken was a bit tougher than usual and the fish singed on the edges. Asked a few too many times if everything was ok and if we'd like coffees three times but apart from that good.

Excellent service, despite being busy, shows how good the restaurant is, Sunday night other places empty but Cote nicely busy, creating a nice atmosphere together with good food, who can ask for anything more.

Staff as friendly and efficient as ever despite being busy. Food to high standard although duck was slightly over and chewy but was replaced with a dish cooked perfectly.

Excellent value before 7pm. We were seated upstairs which is pleasant but slightly spoilt by the way general noise and chatter seems to bounce of the walls and ceiling. Very difficult to hold a conversation. Less noisy downstairs

Good brasserie with delicious food. Staff friendly and helpful. Only criticism, our main was brought whilst still eating our starter. Maybe our fault for being too slow.

Usual standard of excellent full English breakfast. The cooking can always be relied on, particularly the fried eggs done to perfection and very tasty sautéed mushrooms. The service as always is attentive and friendly.

We had a delicious meal with great servic. Plus, the restaurant is in a lovely location with lots of parking nearby. Couldn't fault it really.

Greeted nicely when we arrived, asked where we would like to sit. Service was friendly and polite and order taken quickly. Food arrived after an acceptable length of time and was delicious. Perfect service!

Usually always very good but the crepes for dessert let it down on my last visit. Prefer mine hot not cold. Service, first class every time.

Lovely food, wine, atmosphere and attentive staff Will definitely be making Cote Brasserie my new favourite eatery! The set menu was perfect and great value for money. I'm really looking forward to trying the A la carte menu on our next visit

I would not be a returning customer if I did not rate my overall experience very highly. I find the instruction to enter a minimum number of words rather irritating ! I have today entertained 3 friends to lunch. They are already members. You tell me that I will lose 250 points unless I introduce more even though I do not live in Cheltenham.
