Some difficulty claiming our online offer free G&T - sorted by the really excellent manager, polite, patient and mucks in with the waiters. Food was excellent too.

Welcome from staff, particularly manager. Ordered drinks and the food. Nothing too much trouble for staff, Food was delicious and just relaxed and finished our wine. Lovely experience.

Friendly staff and good food. An error was made meaning we were kept waiting for our mains but we were giving a drink on the house which was nice.

Wonderful food , friendly staff . A waiter who recommended a wine that was delicious . Would definitely go again and advise others to give it go . You won't be disappointed .

great meal as usual,but it would have been better if they didn't add salt on the salad,let the customer add their own seasoning,not everyone likes salt.

Great location in the centre of Chester. The set menu is excellent value and there’s now a slightly more expensive ‘Prestige’ menu which is still good value. Good service.

Gratuity of 12.5% goes on bill automatically. You feel obliged to pay it !! This should be left to the person paying the bill and not enteted!

Terrific food, sensitively served and at extremely reasonable prices. Our American friends were very impressed. Could not be bettered. We will most definitely be back in the near future!

Quick and friendly service with rapid attention. Good choice and food quality. Drinks boosted the price a bit and although I always leave a good tip I don't like it automatically added onto the bill. Very good use of my gift tokens and an excellent evening.

Steak was tough but fish starter good. Nice table and good attentive staff. I don’t like garlic so requested a herb butter to cook with steak. They couldn’t do that but gave me a peppercorn sauce instead

Not the best night to visit Cote as the Chester Races had just finished. The noise in the restaurant was almost unbearable. Service was slow as could be expected. Food was average at best. Vastly overpriced drinks. There is no reason why draught beers could not be made available but decides to provide bottled beer at what equates to £7.50 a pint for mediocre quality. I'm sure many people enjoy this brasserie but not for me thank you

Cote is always of the highest standard and always lives up to our expectations of the highest quality food and service. It is a pleasure to dine there. There Creme Caramel dessert cannot be beaten ANYWHERE!!!

The food was good, however when we didn’t pay the full 12.5% tip the attitude was very poor!!!!! Whilst I do not have a problem paying a tip, 12.5% for a table of two is steep. For that I would need an experience that was like no other!

Food was absolutely delicious! Service was very friendly without feeling pushy and the staff were very attentive. Very reasonably priced too. Would definitely eat here again

Another great experience at Cote Brasserie, food was fab and the service friendly as ever. Highly recommended, we have visited on a number of occasions and always had a good time.

We have had about 10 lunches here and have never been disappointed. Food always good and always plenty of choice on a changing menu while still having the favourites. Staff of a very high standard.

Excellent service, food and choice. Greeted on arrival and shown to our table immediately. Drinks arrived promptly and food ordered quickly. All 3 courses were excellent in terms of quality, quantity and presentation

busy and pleasant staff do not agree that the tip is put on the bill some people would pay the bill and not check would of left tip anyway not happy about this

Another very pleasant visit to Cote Chester. The service was attentive and efficient. The menu offered a good range of choices. The food was, as always, well prepared and attractively presented.

Lovely food, excellent service and good value for money. Go here about once a month and not a bad meal yet. Staff are very obliging.

Food was delicious the reason it didn’t get 5 was I have a slight gluten intolerance and I can take medication to control it I requested a dish which had pasta and seafood and basically they refused to serve it as it has gluten in which I found embarrassing as it was my option to eat it and I know my body.

I was extremely disappointed with my visit as I had booked the lunch via the website and was offered a free bottle of rose wine. When I enquired with the Manager he stated that I did not qualify for the said bottle of wine. I was left embarrassed as I have been a customer for some time

Excellent meal and great service. The food is always top class and very reasonably priced.Lovely relaxing atmosphere except for a couple two tables away and must have thought they were in a boilershop not a restaurant.

Well looked after even although it was very busy due to race-goers. Food well up to standard. Enjoyed a lively evening in excellent company. Will be back.
