Another really good meal and experience at Cote Chester. Staff very good, made us feel very welcome.

Went for dinner on Tuesday. .restaurant very busy by the time we left. .I had chicken which wasn't the best and my husband had hake with a cream sauce. .so much cream could of had a heart attack. .We will both go again though as usually so good

Cotes have a fantastic gluten free menu with loads of choices, they are accredited with the coeliac society so very safe for a coeliac to eat there. Great service from the lovely staff and fantastic food.

Awful food. I actually ended up leaving it as it was so badly cooked. My son had a steak which was bloody and very rare despite the request for a medium steak. Avoid this cote restaurant

The experience which my friend and I had at Cote Chester was good but the only thing was that we had to wait quite a long time for it to arrive. I would happily go again though.

Very high standard both of food and of service in a sophisticated but relaxed ambience. We particularly appreciated the tactful care given to the needs of a member of our party who is severely allergic to all nuts and peanuts. Exemplary!

I have visited Cote on several occasions now and have never been disappointed. Their menu is comprehensive and value for money from set 2&3 courses to al a carte. My favourite place to eat in Chester.

Absolutely loved our evening at Côte.. the food was divine! I had king prawn compote, roast duck reast with dauphinois potatoes and then plum and almond tart with cinnamon ice cream. Yum!! Cotes du Rhône to drink. Lovely quiet ambience, (Sunday evening) great service and delicious wine.. thank you very much.

Had the Christmas lunch menu,excellent quality, well cooked and the service was up to the usual high standard. No lengthy waits between courses, quite busy that night but atmosphere was just right.

While everything was satisfactory, my experience of French restaurants and what makes them special, is the lovely rustic vegetables. It was disappointing that both my steak and my partner's dish came without and any sides were an extra.

Booked a table. Were shunted upstairs into a huge empty restaurant where 4 single tables were squeezed into a corner where 3 would have been comfortable. So we left.

Fab food in a very friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was top drawer. This was our fifth or sixth time to Côte in Chester and we are always delighted.

Great place to visit with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. The food was well presented and there was a good choice on the vegetarian menu. I chose the Butternut squash risotto as my main course. Far too much garlic but tasty nevertheless.

Staff and food were very good but one course was slightly greasy ;(sea bass) Waitress was very attentive and informative about the menu when we queried certain items.

We met friends here for a catch up, and had a very pleasant lunch from the Prestige menu. Our first visit to Chester Cote, and we liked the way a feature had been made of the sandstone arch. Will return.

Had the set menu,one of the best meals yet.Eat here at least twice a month and its always excellent. The staff are great and friendly. Can't find any faults at all.

Staff were very friendly and professional in their manner. Unfortunately my food was only lukewarm and had to be sent back. This did interrupt the flow of the meal. I was politely offered a free drink in return so had a complimentary cup of tea.

The staff here are very friendly and the restaurant is cosy with a lovely atmosphere. The menu has a good choice. The starters are excellent and the main courses are well-cooked and executed. Worth mentioning too is the wine list - a lot of decently priced French wines.

My wife and I along with two great friends enjoyed a very good evening last night at Cote. The food was found to be delicious by everyone which in itself was an achievement and the service was to match this. A very good evening was had by all.

Been several times to cote brasserie in chester and always have great choice and great food ..specials include haddock and lamb rump which I highly recommend
