Absolutely loved it here! The staff were friendly and we had a brilliant meal.

Absolutely superb meal from start to finish. Really relaxed and efficient service from a team who clearly know what they're doing. A fine dining experience at great value for money. Would highly recommend the French onion soup and the rib eye or fillet steaks. We ordered the cheapest bottle of red wine on the menu and it was delicious. The lighting and decor is great too.

As usual, a brilliant meal, never fails to please. We have been going to Cote to celebrate our anniversary for the last couple of years and have always had a fantastic time.

We always eat at Cote when we are in Chester, the food is lovely and reasonably priced. Sitting outside on a sunny day, you could imagine you were in France. And we must add that the staff are polite and courteous. Thank you Cote.

Visited on for evening 18.9.20, everything really good, went back for lunch 19.9.20. (same menu as previous evening) our friends ordered the chicken + frites when arrived was undercooked (slight difference of opinion with a waiter) however meals taken away and replaced with new ones. To top off the day both meals were deleted from the bill, exactly what you would hope for from a restaurant of this level. Thank You.

The brunch menu was plentiful. Eggs benedict was superb. I also enjoyed the prawns for starter, had a slight kick to them. My mother had the onion soup and it looked and smelt delightful, thick dark and gravy like just as it should be!

Lovely setting and atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and efficient, food was excellent and we throughly enjoyed our lunch. Would highly recommend.

Love, love, love Cote! An impromptu alfresco lunch in the sunshine - seared tuna nicoise, glass of Cote de Provence and a shared chocolate mousse. Attentive but not intrusive service. I'll be back again soon. Would be great to have patio heaters and parasols for autumn/winter!

I have been several occasions in the past and the overall experience wasnt there for me. My partner had to send back her main because it was cold and it was exchanged but mine was eaten by the te it returned. Mine was warm but not hot. Overall I wont be returning because there are much better options in Chester including French cuisine.

In these difficult times it was great to be welcomed so warmly. We sat outside overlooking the street below, lovely weather, lovely food and wine what’s not to line !!

We absolutely loved it! From the minute we walked in to the (sadly) leaving one. The staff was so good. The chefs did an amazing job too! As a Frenchie, I was so pleased to see how well you are treating our gastronomy. The current time is a bit hard as I am unable to travel back to France but I felt so much like if I was over there tonight... Thank you from the bottom of my hart!

On the most awful day of weather, we were greeted warmly, shown to a brilliant table with no one too near. The waiter was great, with a lovely sense of humour. All the food on the menu was available and the four of us had a great evening, without a negative comment on the food.

Always good service and food .. go specially from North Wales .. and the eat out help out is great as well...more incentive to go 😃 my only gripe was we took my daughters partner for her birthday and I asked on the phone if they could just do a little something on her desert plate which they said absolutely no problem.. but forgot 😒 other than that its always good

Love that the question uses the word experience because that is exactly what it was, a fantastic experience from the first warm greeting to the final friendly good evening. The staff have just the right blend of friendly attention and efficiency. Although we had never visited the restaurant before we were made to feel like valued regular guests. The place is perfect before you even mention the reason you went in the first place, the food. I'm not even going to try describe the food, but just say that if the service and staff were perfect I'd have to find a word which means more than perfect.
