Beautiful food and wonderful service. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Excellent is an understatement. This place not only looks very posh but it offers the fine dining experience. The steak was cooked to perfection, service was timely and immaculate. If I could rate it 10 star or above, I would. Certainly will be having a meal there with family and friends very soon.

As always we had a lovely meal. We're just a bit sorry we had not booked a table downstairs at the back (in the 'crypt') as it's so cosy there and we found upstairs very noisy. The staff were lovely as they always are and I was delighted I'd booked the table for my husband's birthday (77!). Thank you very much.

We had a fantastic dining experience. Being a coeliac I was so well looked after with so many choices to choose from. The wine selection was great. The staff were so knowledgable and friendly. Can’t wait to return again soon!

Amazing meal last night out the Côte Brasserie, Chester using the eat out to help out scheme. Staff were great, polite, safe and professional maintaining social distance. We had three courses, all of which were amazing. Tomato, capers and goats cheese ciabatta was amazing starter, my fillet steak was cooked to perfection and crepes were a nice finish to the dinner. Also had a lovely selection of wines of which we had a french rose. I would definitely be visiting again and would recommend going. Obviously being a chain each restaurant may be different but Chester was great!

Regular visitors to Cote in Chester and it has always be extremely good. Last night was mediocre. The burger was overcooked and quite tough to eat, had been dried out quite a bit during cooking. The steak was also more cooked than usual and tougher to eat. Still enjoyed our trip but the cooking left something to be desired last night, which is a shame as every time we've been before it has been stand out.

Excellent food in good surroundings. COVID precautions were all in place with plenty of hand sanitizer and tables well spaced. Service was very good and great value thanks to eat out to help out.

We were so looking forward to our return to Cote after so many months enforced absence. We weren't disappointed at all. We were welcomed in as usual and had a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent as always and the service prompt despite the person who welcomed us explaining that with the new way of working, the food might take a little longer than usual. The staff were working hard to sanitize tables and equipment between customers, there was hand gel available, the tables were spaced well apart, doors were open to allow ventilation and all staff wore the appropriate ppe so we felt quite safe. Staff were friendly and chatty and seemed as happy to be back as we were. It was fabulous. A big thank you to all the staff for all their hard work.

We'd been waiting for Cote to re-open and it did not disappointed. We had an excellent meal, and despite being told that there were fewer chefs working there, our food was not delayed and everything was marvellous!

One of, if not, the best meal we’ve ever had. Very clean and felt very safe given the current Covid-19 circumstances. Our waiter for the evening was Seif and he was absolutely fantastic. Please make sure he gets the credit he deserves.

It’s great to see Cote re-open! This is one of my absolute favourites in Chester. The food, the service and the atmosphere in what are very strange times.... were all fabulous. So great to back and to give my support. Well done to all the great staff.

The service was exceptional, food delicious and the restaurant all Covid safe, food was served well and the staff very attentive, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Air conditioned too which was lovely.

Extremely concerned about the lack of attention to the current Covid situation. Show to our sears but not asked to sanitize our hands. Couldn't even see a sanitizer station as the dispenser was that small on the wall. Tables and chairs were not sanitized after use. The tables were merely wiped over. Salt and pepper mills were left on the tables and never wiped down. No social distancing signs. It was as if Chester was Covid free. Felt rushed with the food service. As soon as our starter had finished, the main was presented. As soon as the main was finished we were presented with a dessert menu. 3 course meal and an appetiser done and dusted in less than 1 hour.

Great food, great atmosphere, excellent service. Also the manager with dark hair and a goatee usually wearing a paisley shirt, top guy.

Really enjoyed our meal. Staff were great and all the Covid precautions made us feel really safe.

Had dinner for 2 on 14 August 2020....the food the ambience and service were superb....we were given a choice ot table and were the last people left in the restaurant. We were not being ushered out either....would totally recommend
