A new favourite restaurant, good menu choices including gluten free options for coeliacs. Easy access with plenty of nearby parking, lovely atmosphere, reasonable prices and great service too!

The Place to go. Having tried to get a table for lunch , we were disappointed that it was fully booked so we made sure that we booked prior to our next visit to Chichester. We were no disappointed. The food was excellent and the service could not be faulted. We have been to the restaurant on several occasions now and it is great to see that the waiters/ waitresses have remained the same - a good sign and the level of food hasrecained at a high standard.

Staff were attentive and very friendly even though they were very busy. The food was well presented and hot and delicious. Lovely evening could not fault it.

Friendly staff and pleasant food made for an enjoyable evening. The charcuterie board was tasty, the ribeye steak was cooked medium not medium rare and was rather chewy. The apple tart was delicious

Excellent Meal reasonably priced suited our requirements with a pre-theatre meal.

As usual excellent value lunch. Friendly staff and a warm welcome. My only comment is I would rather not be called a guy but our waiter.

I generally have a pleasant time eating at Cote in Chi. The staff are friendly without being intrusive. The food is usually spot on. Lots of small children today. Ah well. Food was great. My eggs were beautifully cooked. I’ll be back .

Great service, good food at reasonable prices, the loin of pork with wild mushroom sauce was excellent, house wine very quaffable , we have visited before and have never been disappointed.

I booked a table here for my birthday, taking along all of my family (so several generations to please!) As usual the food was excellent and the service was wonderful and we all thought the same. I've never been disappointed with this restaurant so long may it continue!

Our meals were of a very high quality, and the menu gives plenty of variety. We were given a very good table, having popped into the restaurant earlier in the afternoon to choose.

Delicious meal. Service polite and quick although they were very busy. A perfect pre theatre meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed an a la carte meal prior to the theatre this evening. Most notable were the crab starter which was delicious and the medium-rare Chateaubriand which was superb. We will likely repeat the choices in a couple of week’s time the meal was so good. And it was all facilitated by happy and helpful staff.

A pleasant lunch with courteous service. The only concern was that the staff seemed ill prepared for a question about a food allergy. Other chain restaurants visited in the past 2 months were far better prepared and could immediately identify suitable dishes.

Staff were lovely and friendly! Beautiful interior and lovely menu. We had breakfast here and it was a true highlight of our time in Chichester. I would highly recommend going if you get the chance!

Excellent food, service and ambience. Well done. We were a party of four and had Breton Fish stew, Cassoulet and Sea Bass between us. All good choices and good size portions. The crepes with chocolate sauce went down well at the end.

Good welcome. Table location good. Right level of time to check menu before our server came to take our order. Cold glass for cold beer please in future.

Had to wait a long time, main courses had clearly been under a hot lamp waiting to be served had had dried up - disappointing.

We booked by phone and requested a table at the front of the restaurant. This is where we prefer to sit on our regular visits. On arrival the staff member seemed unaware of this. The service was to us rather intrusive. My wife had calamari to start and the sea bass/ sea bream from the prestige menu. We went to the theatre and she managed to last the first half before dashing to the toilet. She did the same at the end of the performance and several times during the night. She had had yoghurt and fruit for breakfast and an apple for lunch. Nothing to cause this upset and we can only assume the food from cote was responsible. I enjoyed my meal and had no problems.

I organised a small surprise party for my wife’s birthday. Cote provided excellent food and the service was great

I've eaten in numerous Cote restaurants over the years and Chichester (to date) is the best one. Superb food, (slightly rushed) a good,knowledgeable waiter and as always great value for money.......

Always a great welcome and consistently good food and service at our 'Go To' place in Chichester. Tonight my swordfish was just as I wanted and my partner's Cote de Veau was exceptional. Highly recommended.

The calamari and seabass sadly ruined my mums mother's Day dinner. However the staff were very kind and attentive if we needed drinks or to order another course

As good as ever. However, I did feel that the crust on the mirabelle plum and almond tart could have been crisper. Oven rather than microwave?

We always have a wonderful evening at Cote. The food is fabulous. The service is great and so friendly. And the ambience is perfect. This is one of our go to places in Chichester. Highly recommended.

Cote is our favourite go to restaurant in Chichester, terrific food and amazing friendly staff. The added bonus of the occasional free drink is always a bonus.

Excellent experience, friendly staff, prompt service and a lovely meal.

We like being able to choose our own table without problem. The staff are very attentive and accommodating. The food is good, well cooked and well presented. We like the way the runners bring the food up to be served. It is always piping hot (except the salads!) we enjoy the different menus. Which are reasonably priced for quality food with more than reasonable portions. We do not like the brasserie seating part in a row as too close to one another so if we could not choose to sit on an individual table we would cease to come, otherwise the tables are well spaced for privacy and comfort.

As ever, the food was good and the service very professional. However we did not feel welcomed by the manager who considered our online request for a table ‘ at the side’ as odd and said he did not understand. We are a bit deaf and did not want to sit in the middle of the restaurant surrounded by table chatter. No need to make us feel a bit stupid.
