The Place to go. Having tried to get a table for lunch , we were disappointed that it was fully booked so we made sure that we booked prior to our next visit to Chichester. We were no disappointed. The food was excellent and the service could not be faulted. We have been to the restaurant on several occasions now and it is great to see that the waiters/ waitresses have remained the same - a good sign and the level of food hasrecained at a high standard.

We often dine here and always recommend to our friends etc. The food is always to our expectation and the staff are always very helpful and pleasant. They always ask if you have any food tolerances and will accommodate to your requirements. We have never had a problem.

Excellent service. Delicious food - very reasonably priced. Slightly disappointed to receive an email when I got home offering a free cocktail during February- we didn’t get the information beforehand! Never mind - we had a yummy meal and our waitress was charming.

We always receive a friendly welcome upon arrival at the restaurant. The service and food was great as usual, hence why we are regular visitors. The service at the restaurant in Chichester stands out for us in comparison to the other restaurants in the chain that we have tried and in fact against the vast majority of restaurants that we have been to.

Friendly greeting on arrival. Fantastic service from lovely waitress. Food high standard as always. First time at Chichester restaurant but would definitely go back. Only thing I don’t like is service charge being automatically added to bill.

Friendly staff and pleasant food made for an enjoyable evening. The charcuterie board was tasty, the ribeye steak was cooked medium not medium rare and was rather chewy. The apple tart was delicious

Wednesday evening and the restaurant was bustling as usual. Staff as always friendly and attentive. Starters Calamari and Steak Tartare. Both lovely. Mains Monk Fish very nicely cooked. We’ll be back again soon

Really enjoyed our lunch. Always consistently good value and yummy food! Waiters are brill and very efficient. For me personally they offer a very good gluten free menu. Always go to Cote for lunch as first choice!

The staff were all terrific and particularly the young man from Portugal. But all were so attentive and obliging - nothing was too much trouble. 👏 The food was excellent from the set menus. And the wine on offer too. Thank you.

We were well received and our table which was booked was ready for us. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The food was good especially as the staff had to carry it downstairs from the first floor where it was cooked. Overall a good experience.

Busy restaurant. Was a little understaffed for the number of diners. Expensive rib eye steak which was very fatty and grisly. We were not asked how our meal was at any point during the evening. Waitress tried her best and was very nice but she was overstretched.

We were very disappointed with our meal. My friends steak was inedible. We told the member of staff who really didn’t seem fussed. My shepherds pie was over cooked.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of the city. I arrived a little early - my table was ready The restaurant was busy being Saturday evening. Despite this my order was taken and served promptly by the friendly efficient staff. The food was, needless to say, delicious. Will certainly return [if I can get a table] Highly recommended

Cote always provides a reliably tasty and enjoyable meal with excellent service and is open to serve when most restaurants have given up for the night. Last night was no exception. I particularly enjoyed the chicken liver parfait with toasted brioche - it's nice to have an alternative to toasted sourdough these days.

Delicious food and good value as usual. Extra thanks to our lovely waiter and the kitchen staff for rushing to serve us in time for our next engagement even though some of our party arrived very late. Orders taken, cooked, served and eaten within about 3/4 hour at our request. This restaurant combines the value of a 'chain' with a personal service which makes it an excellent choice for eating out frequently in Chichester.

Lunch out with my husband. The food was delicious. I recommend the king prawn starter. We both had pork belly for our main. The staff were warm, friendly and very helpful.

On a very cold day Chichester Cote was warm and inviting. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our Eggs Benedict and Mackerel starters were delicious! The Chicken Bacon Parmentier main is a tasty, reliable dish. Topped off with glasses of Cote's red wine this was a perfect and economical pre-theatre meal.

Brilliant great restaurant to have in a town centre very rarely found only eat in cotes Round England when out and about. As the food is great , Chichester is wonderful.

Food was amazing and our waiter was really nice and easy to talk to. The only part that let the experience down was we had to wait 40 minutes to pay at the end of the meal. As we had things to do, this was a great incovinince.
