Côte Chichester

I come fairly often with friends for breakfast, lunch or later meal (prior going to the theatre). Food excellent and lovely staff. A great atmosphere and always very welcoming.

Celebrating my friend’s birthday we were welcomed by our waiter with 2 complimentary glasses of Prosecco We enjoyed a delicious lunch,with a good old fashioned catchup

We booked by phone and requested a table at the front of the restaurant. This is where we prefer to sit on our regular visits. On arrival the staff member seemed unaware of this. The service was to us rather intrusive. My wife had calamari to start and the sea bass/ sea bream from the prestige menu. We went to the theatre and she managed to last the first half before dashing to the toilet. She did the same at the end of the performance and several times during the night. She had had yoghurt and fruit for breakfast and an apple for lunch. Nothing to cause this upset and we can only assume the food from cote was responsible. I enjoyed my meal and had no problems.

Two of our three course meals from the a la carte menu were excellent, but the lentil stew for my vegetarian wife was pretty awful, like funny tasting baked beans; the artichokes were unidentifiable and too much chilli. Big disappointment to be honest.

We had to wait too long for anything to drink, even water. The complimentary cocktails were added to our bill, but removed after we complained. However, I don't believe their excuse and have lost trust in Cote now.

The usual good service, and amiable attitude by the staff.

Met 2 friends in a non busy Chichester. Very welcoming. Food excellent as usual. Staff charming. Enjoyed Cotes free March Spritzers. Never disappointed.

Service was superb, although I thought my fillet (medium) and chateauneuf de pape wine was too dry. Left half of both compared to the rest of table. Would I go again, of course best customer and friendly service in Chichester. Just an off day

My Tuna on the Tuna Salad Nicoise was off - it smelt mould and the one mouthful I had tasted disgusting. It ruined my lunch. It also took 45 mins from sitting down too being served. Not Happy!

As reasonably regular set menu luncheon diners we have consistently enjoyed efficient and friendly service alongside excellent value for money food of a very high standard.

Lovely service as always and a loyal Cote user wherever I am in Horsham or Chichester. However, I have a complaint to the head office for changing the quality of the tuna nicoise salad. The new tuna is poor quality compared to the usual and the portion of salad clearly reduced.... that is poor show and let's hope it is not another VC story ending up closing another chain by ripping the cost and quality out of it? (Strada etc.)… bring back the quality and size of this dish before it is too late!

Breakfast at Côte in Chichester is always a happy experience. The Staff are very attentive and welcoming. The food arrives very promptly and looks very appealing to the eye. Service in the evening for a pre theatre meal is also very good and they offer a good range of dishes to choose from.

Food fine, upstairs looks absolutely freezing. Service disinterested. Not bad. Just average. All average.

Always good food at Cote Brasserie, have never been disappointed. The food and service are consistently of a high standard. I noticed today that many people were there having breakfast, must make a note to try it.

Delicious food and the lunch menu 2 courses was very good value. A really cheerful, knowledgeable waiter made the lunch even better. A lovely 50th birthday meal thanks.

Consistently good food in this branch, we had a lovely waiter, who was very helpful and friendly. Very buzzy restaurant, busy, but staff we’re always on hand. Lovely that they put candles in our parents desserts for their birthday celebrations.

Superb food and immaculate but relaxed service as usual at your Chichester brasserie. Which is why my mother (aged 100!) and I meet up at least once a week for lunch at your Chichester branch . Two years ago when we both lived (again separately) in London we frequently went for lunch at the Côte Brasserie in Hampstead High Street in north London where to food and service were similarly superb.

Excellent as always ... great food, lovely waitress, fab complimentary birthday cocktails... 10/10!!

Excellent, caring and professional service by waiter Leslie who ensured our allergies were catered for. Food good; the creme caramel is the best of any I have ever tasted in the UK!!

Always enjoy the atmosphere at Cotes,but on this occasion there were a. Umber of very noisy groups,which made conversations difficult to hear each other. Still the food was good and the staff their usual smiling made the service very pleasant. Will still continue to use Cote at Chichester, particularly for breakfast!
