Family meal before our visitors headed back to Australia. Pleasant service and great food which cheered us all up on a bit of a sad occasion. They look forward to more lunches at Cote Cobham on their next visit home. We will be there many times before that! Our favourite eating place for lunch.

BETTER THAN LAST TIME, MAYBE NOT QUITE SO BUSY. IF BRASSERIE'S ARE GOING TO SURVIVE IN SMALL TOWNS, THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY STAFF PROPER WAGES AS TURNOVER IS VERY HIGH

Cote Cobham is our go to restaurant. We love the food, service and price.

They have a new chicken dish on the menu that is delicious. Enjoy a refreshing martini upon arrival.

Always enjoy, but slightly surprised to find they don’t have soup spoons to serve with soup. When asked for a soup spoon instead of a regular spoon - the waitress replied ‘we don’t have any!’ Perhaps you should if serving soup

Took the family who are home on a rare visit from Australia and several of us had the rib eye steak which got the thumbs up. Granddaughter had the pork belly which she raved about but still found room for the chocolate pot which got similar approval.

Lovely meal with friends. Ordered the chicken on the Prestige menu which was delicious. As always, friendly service and pleasant atmosphere.

Late lunch here and it was noticeably quieter which was nice. The whitebait were really good and I’ve had them on every visit this month. Steak frites a regular favourite and look forward to next months menu

Terrible service, coffees arrived 10 minutes apart, 3 of us got our breakfast and we had to ask for the two breakfasts that didn’t arrive including my 4 year old daughters. It took 15 minutes for them to get their breakfast after us. Appalling.

It was my brothers 80th birthday treat to take him out to lunch. We ordered garlic bread as a pre starter but it came at the same time as the main starter and was desperately short of garlic. Otherwise we had a nice meal.

We come here quite often but this visit was not a success. They have a new menu and my chicken paillard came swimming in juice, despite me asking for none. I eventually got a replacement but that meant that my friends ate before me. The plate came with a pile of mash underneath a piece of chicken, all covered in petit pois - a real mess. My favourite frozen berries with white choc sauce came but the sauce was not warm enough to melt the berries - and they've skimped on it. The service was pretty bad - only two people appeared to be serving. Why do they get the kitchen staff to hand it to a waiter - wastes time.

Decor needs a revamp, poor service,had to ask to be served,had to get my own cutlery, long wait between starter and main course, would NOT go back.

Food good service good but cleanliness of crockery awful broken handle on both cups could lead to handle breaking whilst full with hot drink. Also the teapot was dust and dirty

Had to wait 45 mins for our food which was really disappointing as this was my wife birthday. Normally service is great and food too.

The order must have slipped down the pecking order but without me even complaining they reduced a significant amount off the bill . Very impressed!!

On arrival at 1815 I asked for a booth table but was told they were all booked although several were empty. I was then given a booth at the very back of the restaurant by the WCs. When my other 2 guests arrived 10 minutes later they were directed to a booth in the main restaurant!! Not impressed as I then moved from the back corner into the main restaurant to join them. How does that work?? I have to say that the food, as always, was great.

Excellent food & service for a busy lunch Sunday time

We come here a lot but never tire of the food . Both the standard and the Prestige menu are good this month. I have tried both and enjoyed the food both times.

Lovely meal as always, from the Prestige menu. Rib eye steak cooked to perfection and my friend had the mussels which looked really good. Will try them myself next time! Pleasant staff and always so well trained.

Excellent rib eye steak as always cooked to perfection. The french onion soup had to go back as it was tepid but dealt with by an apology from the server - staff always so pleasant and well trained.

Always a great breakfast experience at Cote and the Cobham branch is no exception.

The service was good. We enjoyed the food. Did not like the fact that they add service charge to your bill. It should be up to the customer how much tip they give.

The Sea Bass should have had sourdough bread croutons and orange but it had neither. It tasted nice but was disappointed not to receive all that was stated on the menu.

I am a regular. I go there because I always enjoy the experience. The menu offers a variety of dishes while the service is always excellent. Well worth a visit.
