Côte Cobham

Service not as good as usual, had to send back the butternut squash risotto as barely warm round the edges. A disappointing meal.

We were disappointed in the meal which was a Valentine's Day Special; it was not up to the standard of the normal meals. We were also slightly rushed

The entire evening was pleasant but nothing special. We had an enjoyable starter and main however were rushed when getting to dessert. The waitress taking our dessert order was impatient and huffy. That ruined the evening for us and we then could not wait to leave.

The staff were very helpful as one of the children needed gluten free food. However it did take a long time for them to take our order for food or drinks We went early in the evening so it wasn’t that busy at the time. Once they had taken our order the food and drink was delivered promptly

Another good lunch at Cote Cobham - our favourite branch of this chain. Egg Benedict is an old favourite and the rib eye steak ever disappoints.

Nothing was too much trouble good food and excellent service. It was my birthday so everyone made it a very special occasion certainly will return and recommend.

Good quality food, plenty of choice on the three menus, and service with a smile. Good value for money. We are regulars! Pity waiters change so often.

Always a pleasure to visit this restaurant. The staff are so well trained and pleasant and the food always good. This months set lunch menus are excellent.

Nice lunch menu this month. The moules were very good, cooked with a heroism amount of cream. As always the rib eye steak was cooked to perfection. Staff pleasant and attentive.

Friendly & efficient staff, but food was disappointing. Minute steak under seasoned and tasteless. Soup lacked flavour and was served boiling hot - too hot to enjoy. Shame - Cote used to be better than this.

We had a lovely meal at Cote in Cobham. The food was great and service was very good too. We will definitely visit again 😀

Another lovely and relaxing evening, great atmosphere as always. Staff very attentive, food hot, delicious and well presented. Always a pleasure to go to Côte.

The restaurant was very busy almost full.on the first course we had to send the french onion soup back to be heated up and on the main course we had to send back one of the fish pies to be heated and the pork to be cooked as the centre was raw, Other than that we had a very pleasant time. I will be sorry to lose the January menu! The rib eye steak has been superb. Also the soup on the cheaper menu has been very good. Look forward to the February menu .

A very warm welcome from a manager I had not seen before. Waitress cheerful and efficient. Despite arriving at the restaurant at approx 6.45 one menu choice from the early evening menu was even then not available. Drinks and starters arrived within a reasonable time but we had to wait about 30 minutes for our main courses. I ordered puy lentils and roasted vegetables as a main course which although not described as being spicy on the menu were too spicy for my taste.

Great staff and gorgeous food, however the service on this occasion was on the slow side which is unusual as I’ve been many times before.

Comfortable, quiet & pleasant, non-intrusive service, pleasant menu both set and a la carte.

Once again, a great meal here. The staff are so nice and the food is always excellent. The premiere menu has been great this month.

We went for brunch. The meal was, as ever, very good and the service was attentive but not intrusive. The ambiance was ideal for a family morning get together. A very good experience.

The visit to Cote with my two guests was as always very enjoyable. Good food good service and pleasant atmosphere. A great restaurant for either lunch or dinner.

My husband has Coeliac, this was mentioned at time of booking. He was presented with ice cream with a biscuit stuck in it! The waitress said she would take the biscuit out, but ice cream already contaminated. Manager very quickly replaced the ice cream with apologies.

Ate the duck after onion soup. All good but not special. Wish you could get a vegetable instead of some green salad thrown on the top. Had to buy separately. I like the atmosphere and service good.

Always good . Nice atmosphere but would be good if they had a loyalty card for those that visit frequently . Very reliable chefs .

New Year’s Day and a new menu - best moules I’ve had in a long time. Followed by a rib eye steak, cooked to perfection. Quite busy but staff still pleasant and efficient. Lovely meal, as always.

Another lovely meal at Cote's in Cobham. The staff are always so friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was delicious as always with a lovely atmosphere too.

I come here every few months as the location is perfect for meeting a friend. We have never had a bad meal and the service has always been excellent.

As usual great steak and lovely staff Early New Year’s Eve dinner with my son and his girlfriend. Steak and frites beautifully cooked and chocolate fondant yum

Very good meal of chicken and chips and cheerful, professional staff attending. Have enjoyed many breakfasts at Cote, too, as visitors to Cobham. Look forward to next time.

Very good breakfast had formulae which wevthink is good value. Staff friendly and efficient. Restaurant and toilets clean. Was very quiet when we arrived but got busier

A lovely pre-Christmas lunch with family. Excellent food, service and value for money, as usual. I am a regular customer at this restaurant and look forward to returning soon.

Once again, an excellent lunch, from the higher priced set menu. I opted for the parsnip,leek and potato soup from the cheaper menu, in preference to the french onion soup offered on the higher menu. Soup was excellent. The rib eye steak was done to perfection and as always, the staff were well trained and very pleasant.

Once again we had a friendly welcome and very efficient service. The coq au vin was good (it had run out last time we visited) as was the rest of the meal. Season's greetings to all the staff.

Very good food complemented with very good service. Food was simple without fuss and well presented and fillet stakes cooked to perfection. Overrall, very good value for money.

We were amazed for Friday evening just before Christmas just how quiet the restaurant was. Food was just ok - one of our party had Cassoulet, feedback was it was uninspiring and tasteless. Two portions of Seasonal Vegetables were cold - no excuse when hardly anyone in restaurant. Certainly not up to the usual Côte standards we are used to.

Disappointed initially to find that our choice of coq au vin from the lunchtime and early evening menu was not available at 6.45 pm. Alternatives were well presented and the service up to the usual standard.

Average tasting food, quite small portions and very slow to serve our main courses. Ok but not great so won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Good service, good food, - a really nice evening. I used to live in Surrey but now live in Newcastle (which is a great place) and also has a Cote which we go to quite often.

We eat here a lot and this time we returned with friends. Ordered from the set lunch menu. Excellent tasty soup to start. The restaurant was very busy as Christmas parties were there. The steak frites was overdone but it was immediately changed with good grace by a waiter and the next one was quick and perfect. Hardly ever happens here and no doubt due to how busy they were. The staff are so well trained and always charming.

Excellent visit with good food and service like all the Cotes that we visit including Dorking where we live. We shall be back again to spend our voucher.

We are frequent visitors to Cote but this time we took friends along too. We all went on the set Christmas menu which was excellent. Good rib eye steaks, lovely brioche bread and butter pudding! As always, staff great - pleasant and attentive.

Great food, great service, great value for money. This is a nice restaurant of Cote which matches their usually high standards. We have been visiting Cote for over 10 years now and they always deliver

Excellent food, service and pleasant cosy atmosphere. It's top of my list for good class restaurants at a reasonable price. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a happy dining experience.

I enjoyed the lunch very much. The food was very nice and so was the wine. The restaurant was very busy but we had excellent service and will go back again.

Food is reliably good. Service can be variable. Never terrible and usually willing, but a bit scattered at times. In common with many places getting the bill and paying can involve too much waiting. When someone calls for them bill bring the credit card machine as well! But all that said, I visit often and will be back.
