Food was lovely and restaurant was very busy- this meant a few mistakes were made with ordering but the staff were friendly and tried their best. Will come again!

Excellent food, service and value with very good choice of menu including fish and vegetarian. Highly recommend although definitely need to book for pre-theatre meal.

Excellent meal on early evening menu. Service friendly and speedy. Very busy at 6-7 pm so definitely need to book table in advance. By 7.30pm less pressure.

Excellent service and food,, but the portions are very large (and I am a healthy eater!) neither of us could finish either the starter of calamari or the veal. Both of these dishes had far too much breaded covering which apart from adding to the volume of the food detracted the flavour of the food.

Good food and pleasant service but quite slow. We were having the pre-theatre menu, had arrived at 5.15 but were still eating at 7.15. Barely made it to the theatre on time. Servers need to be aware that people need to be finished in time to get to the theatre.

Waitress very efficient and helpful. My main course of chicken was dire. Probably cooked hours ago, v dry and strange tasteless gravy. My friend unimpressed by her salad. Used to be a much better restaurant and as a Londoner I will not be returning but no doubt the tourists will!

Set lunch menu provided very good choice. The staff were very efficient and friendly without being intrusive. Beetroot and mackerel starter and hake main were lovely. My companion enjoyed his steak. Limited choice of teas. Cappucchino very nice - would have been improved with chocolate sprinkles. I was incapacitated due to a badly sprained ankle and walking with a stick. The toilets were downstairs but the staff advised me I could use the accessible toilet in the adjacent hotel. This was helpful, but the effort of walking next door was not welcome because my leg was very painful. I think a more disabled person would have found this unsatisfactory.

Our waiter, Nick, was brilliant. My daughter is gluten intolerant and Nick made sure the dishes were gluten free. We enjoyed a very nice meal

Great atmosphere, good food, friendly service. Hit at a busy time and had a deadline so a little slow for us but understandable. Will certainly use again.

There is usually something tempting on the menu. However, My starter was disappointing. Like thin dry pizza with very little topping. But otherwise tasty food and friendly service.

Generally very good. Friendly welcome when I arrived. Understood that my party would follow later and may be fewer than planned. Staff suitably attentive and helpful. A couple of issues stop me from giving 6 : one serving was returned since it was not what was ordered; took a while to catch the waiter's eye but once done they reacted quickly. Food well presented and enjoyable. And given the location extremely well priced. Will go again when next in town.

Nice meal and good service. Only minor issue is the noise level. Restaurant is very conveniently placed for pre or post Theatre meal. Reasonably priced.

There were 4 of us in the party. Both of the rib-eye steaks I was served with (the second one being a replacement for the first) were tough and tasteless. Eventually I was served with a (free) minute steak as compensation. OK, but nothing more. My friend Alan's escalope of veal - UNlike one he had had at Cote, St. Albans 2 days previously - was also tasteless. His wife's seafood dish was fine, as was the 4th person in our party's Goat's cheese salad. My ice cream dessert disappointed because both scoops, one chocolate, one vanilla, were half the usual size and the vanilla one was served as soft as butter. I am a frequent patron of Cote restaurants but this visit fell well short of the expected standard.

We had 3 course special. Very good value for money. Restaurant was very hot and there was no air conditioning in the section of restaurant that we were seated in. Also - incredibly noisy. We had to shout at each other to be heard.

We stopped in for a pre-theatre lunch having pre-booked a table. The service was friendly and very quick - no waiting for drinks or food and we comfortably managed two (and could have done three) courses in time for our show. Food was tasty and good value - the portions are not big but enough when you have several courses to eat. Thanks to the staff - we will be back again.

The restaurant was welcoming, however my coffee was not very warm and our order was incorrect twice! My guest ordered a wheat free breakfast as she is allergic to wheat but she was brought a regular breakfast. This could have been dangerous.

very pleasant, well-organised staff. Good choice on the menu and the fish we ordered was well cooked. However, seasoning was bland, no veg is served with any dish unless you order it as an extra dish and the minted peas we ordered had no taste or smell of mint at all.

Very efficient service. We had two courses from the set menu. Very good value. Like the mackerel and beetroot salad starter and the hake for main. My friend had the same starter and chicken and bacon salad which looked good also.

Really slow service to start with - good food but undone by lack of attention for ordering and sense of rush throughout. It was immensely busy but it just felt a little disorganised. Great food though.

I'd booked a table for 6.15 but we arrived early, they were able to find a table for us. Service was good. The restaurant was busy prior to theatre trips. We had the pre-theatre menu which was very good value. Would recommend that the plates are warmed as the food went cold quite quickly. Lovely chocolate pudding!

We had a fantastic meal at Cote Brasserie, St Martin's Lane on Saturday night. There were 4 of us and we chose the 10th Anniversary menu which was great value for money for a London based restaurant, the meal was beautifully presented and really tasty. Thank you chef.
