Consistently good food, service attentive but not intrusive. Very good value for where it is and very handy for eating prior to going to the theatre

Very busy, lively restaurant. Food and service always good. Set menus excellent value for money. Good choice for a pre theatre meal. Would definitely recommend.

Super food, but spoilt because we had to wait over 30 minutes for our main course, and then had to rush as we were going to the theatre.

All lovely - can't do 25 words each time so this must do. Very irritating to waste time when it must be 25 words - if this continues pease don't expect me to rate again.

We had the set pre-theatre menu - a great value £12.50 for 2 courses. Food was served quickly and was of a high standard. Enough choice so everyone could have what they wanted - moules, steak, fish etc. Tasty 'fast' bistro-quality food. Efficient & friendly service

Côte never disappoints. Chicken special was delicious as was the duck. We have eaten in the Eton and Sevenoaks branches which are of equally high standard as regards food and service.

Always great value. Lovely food and excellent service. It was packed when we arrived but service was good. 'Lost' waiter a bit further in to evening as we were only stragglers remaining in basement tables, but wasn't a problem; nice not to be rushed out!

Food very good, and hot , when it arrived. They were VERY slow with orders and having ordered bread with our drinks it never arrived for which there was much apology. However, to add insult to injury, it still appeared on our bill!!

Had a pre-theatre meal here. I have been to Cote in Bristol a number of times and the set menu is fabulous. The Covent Garden Cote was unfortunately very average and the food a little tasteless. No cold white wine by the glass so given ice to cool it down. Would not go to this Cote again.

Good service; friendly. Did not feel rushed but had plenty of time to leave for the theatre. Enjoyed the moules frites. But the pissaladerie was too hard to enjoy fully, peach crumble was lovely. Prices are competitive. Enough choice for my fussy teenager too. Will definitely be back.

Food was very good and always arrives promptly. Great if you're dashing off to the theatre afterwards! Wine by the glass does not come out as chilled as if you'd bought a bottle.

Really friendly staff and hugely appreciated a dedicated gluten free menu for our friend. This made the experience as the set menu dishes were otherwise quite poor. Definitely poorer than other branches we've eaten at. Chicken and gratin potato had tough overcooked meat and potatoes sloshed across the plate. We could tell we were at the tail end of a busy lunch service. Minimal frisée salad leaves in the set menu starter so the poached egg just spread around the base of the bowl. No veg at all on main coursesMaybe add £1 or so to the price if that's what it takes to be more balanced or nutritious as it would still be great value.

Pre theatre menu offers a good choice of dishes and is great value. Between 6 and 7 the place is buzzing and service can feel a little rushed but this is small gripe when considering the quality of the food and the price.

Generally very good. Friendly welcome when I arrived. Understood that my party would follow later and may be fewer than planned. Staff suitably attentive and helpful. A couple of issues stop me from giving 6 : one serving was returned since it was not what was ordered; took a while to catch the waiter's eye but once done they reacted quickly. Food well presented and enjoyable. And given the location extremely well priced. Will go again when next in town.

There were 4 of us in the party. Both of the rib-eye steaks I was served with (the second one being a replacement for the first) were tough and tasteless. Eventually I was served with a (free) minute steak as compensation. OK, but nothing more. My friend Alan's escalope of veal - UNlike one he had had at Cote, St. Albans 2 days previously - was also tasteless. His wife's seafood dish was fine, as was the 4th person in our party's Goat's cheese salad. My ice cream dessert disappointed because both scoops, one chocolate, one vanilla, were half the usual size and the vanilla one was served as soft as butter. I am a frequent patron of Cote restaurants but this visit fell well short of the expected standard.

Bustling and lively in the heart of London's theatre land. Great for a quick supper before or after a show or lunch after a visit to the National Gallery.
