Good menu choice and helpful manager. Service from waiting staff can be a bit hit and miss and rather slow. Food (when it comes) is generally good.
Very good service, our waitress was fantastic. The restaurant was very busy but we didn't have to wait for anything. The food was good too, the usual Côte standard.
good food + good value for money. That is how I rate my experience at Cote Brasserie St martins lane. I now have written enough words
Excellent food, charming service and a great atmosphere. We can rely on lunch at Cote being a rewarding experience and look forward to our next visit.
We were going to the opera at Covent Garden and we know this restaurant is convenient, good and quick. We had booked a late lunch and the staff were ready for us . We enjoyed a selection from the set menu and were out in good time for the opera.
Great location, close to the underground and covent garden. a really good value fixed price lunch menu. friendly staff and good atmosphere. would definitely return.
There is a wonderful buzz in this restaurant as it is always busy. The staff are very efficient and the food is always tasty. Great value set meals too
This is a convenient location. Plenty of choice and a good set menu. The creme caramel is the best ever. Reasonable prices. Gets busy so need to book.
We enjoyed our evening. We had a theatre offer of complimentary kir royales which was a lovely start to enjoyable meals from the pre-theatre menu. The restaurant was busy with a bustling atmosphere. It was also within close proximity to the Noel coward theatre which made for easier access for two of our party with mobility problems. Would recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food, value and service as always. A good start to a nice evening in London followed by a visit to the theatre. We won't let the threats of yesterday stop us coming to London.
Busy branch of this popular chain. Had to wait a while for each course, perhaps not enough staff to cope with the large party was in. Food very good.
A very pleasant meal in pleasing surroundings. The Steak Frites is an excellent dish, although my mint, pea and courgette soup had a slightly "boiled" sensation....
First class and friendly service and quality of food and good value for money, as always. I will undoubtedly make another booking at this restaurant in the future.
Friendly service and good food. Our table was ready when we arrived and a very pleasant smiling waitress ushered us to our seats. Very satisfied.
This is a really great place for pre-theatre dinner and its easy to get to from Leicester Square or Covent Garden. Quick, friendly service, very reasonably priced, and the food was very tasty.
Chose to dine here for the gluten free menu. Menu options and the food were excellent with friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely visit again.
Friendly staff and good value menu. Fairly slow service though which was slightly stressful as we needed to leave for the theatre. Bones in sea bass fillet a disappointment too.
Good quality food as always and the set menu is very good value. Cote is very consistent in all of its restaurants. Cheap for London.
Very pleasant service, our friendly Spanish waiter made sure we were served on time and had enough time to have our three courses before rushing to the theatre. Lovely meal and great deserts
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly but efficient. Excellent, attentive service: courteous and helpful. One particular detail that was appreciated (and is all too rare in restaurants) the staff pointed out any dishes that were not available in giving us the menus. The range of the meals on offer (set menu and specials) is first rate as is the preparation and presentation of the food. The perfect post-theatre experience, our meal was a great end to a great evening.
Friendly service of a good quality despite being very busy. Food came fast and was hot. Very reasonable price for the quality and location. Only downside was that it was very noisy.
Excellent as always in Cote Brasserie, Great food, great value great service. I always use Cote for pre theatre supper and they never disappoint. The lunch/early evening menu is superb value, and the house wines very drinkable.
Very good as usual. Excellent service in a full restaurant so that customers are served promptly for pre theatre meals. Am a regular customer. Need to book as very busy.
A very good experience after the opera. We had a nice window table, service was good as was the food. A restaurant we use frequently and will continue to use.
Another good and good value meal with pleasant service at Cote in St Martins Lane. The set menu had almost complete;y changed from a couple of weeks ago.
Close to a number of theatres and a good, well priced pre theatre meal menu offered. Generally quick and cheerful service. Busy so pre book.
I am a regular at Cote St Martins Lane because I like the location, the wide range of very good food at extremely good prices and the fast efficient service
Good food, staff good but took 40 mins to get dessert and bill. Had to ask for bill 3 times and to pay it twice.
Very good. Our waitress was excellent. On previous occasions in this very busy restaurant there has been quite a long wait for food, but not this time. The kitchen and the whole operation was working well . Thanks.
The early bird menu is very good value, the choice is good and the service very efficient. The food was welll prepared. Would definitely recommend. Make sure you reserve a table as always busy.
Lovely food, attentive service. The pre-theatre menu is always excellent with a good choice of tasty dishes at a reasonable price. The haddock parmentier was delicious.
Great steak frites, just to my liking. Good value 2 course menu for £12.50. Very busy when we went (Saturday lunchtime), so worth booking ahead. Setvice excellent despite the number of people
Hi , we all had the fixed price menu - 2 items for 12.99 or 3 for £14 ,. They were fine in and of themselves but not particularly filling .you need to order extra sides really to leave the table full
Friendly welcome by all the staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Good choice of food. Ate of of the set menu. Great value for money. Cannot wait to visit again.
Great meal and good service ! will look forward to going again sometime soon! Very good menu Table was ready for us on arrival on the time we booked
Excellent value and service as ever. We visit often. The manager, Ashwan, is always so welcoming as are all the staff. It is a pleasure to dine here.

Good food as always at Cote but this branch very busy and quite hectic if you're at a table near the bar area. Staff pleasant.
Friendly welcome by all the staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Good choice of food. Ate of of the set menu. Great value for money. Cannot wait to visit again.
Excellent meal as always and great service. Just disappointed that they had run out of the usual garlic bread I always enjoy with a glass of wine while waiting for my main course.
The quality of the food was high, as usual, and the service efficient and fast. In particular, I enjoyed the duck and the dessert. The restaurant is very popular and hence noisy. Given the prices in London, the relationship between price and quality is excellent.
Very pleasant service and great pre theatre meal with plenty of choice.. Cote Saint Martin's Lane never disappoints. It is a favourite of us in the West End
We visit this branch of Cote for 90% of our London theatre trips. The staff are well trained and particularly engaging. I have to say, there's a really nice buzz, busy and companiable without being overwhelming. We always enjoy our meal and the experience as a whole, not to mention that it's excellent value for money.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere very busy as of course it is in the middle of theatre land. The food was fine but not as good as other COTE we have been to. Portions not huge The price is good value For London. The creme caramel delicious. Smoked Haddock dish not much fish involved. I would recommend Cote. Remember each branch is different and although the menu is the same the chef is different.
The restaurant was busy but the team produced our table for six quite quickly, keeping us refreshed with a complimentary drink to see us through a very short wait. We all enjoyed our various choices and the wine was good. Top marks to a friendly and efficient team for coping well.
Good food with helpful and efficient staff. Ideal for pre theatre eating. We always visit when in London and are never disappointed. Would happily recommend.
We had a very good value pre-theatre meal, with plenty of choice. The service was good. Like most restaurants, it's a bit too noisy for my taste!
As always excellent value for money, plus the service is quick so that we can get to the Theater in time. As well as tasty food and a changing menu. What more could one ask for
Staff friendly, service & food was good. Great place for a pre theatre meal ! Recommend. Idea to book in advance as very busy .
Lovely food and good service-but ambience is a rather busy and was too close to the next table. Recommend Cote but maybe not that particular restaurant.
Great food as always, freshly cooked and delicious. We went pre-theatre so it was very busy and quite noisy. Had to wait longer than usual for food but service is good. Tables in this restaurant are very close together.
Good food, good service. The restaurant gets pretty busy and loud on a sat night - particularly after 7.30, not the place for a quiet meal
