Excellent meal as always and great service. Just disappointed that they had run out of the usual garlic bread I always enjoy with a glass of wine while waiting for my main course.

The quality of the food was high, as usual, and the service efficient and fast. In particular, I enjoyed the duck and the dessert. The restaurant is very popular and hence noisy. Given the prices in London, the relationship between price and quality is excellent.

Great setting and atmosphere. Lovely meal. Service good, although despite there being garlic bread on the menu, there was none available! I do like the Côte chain and would definitely go back.

Excellent lunch - good service, great food, Cote continues to be consistent. The rib eye steak is really good - best value of all the high-street chains.

Being a Saturday evening the restaurant was full and the manager had to to relocate me to a different table during dinner. Not complaining as I was offered a free dessert!

We were in good time for our meal and were able to order quite swiftly from the pre-theatre menu. First and second courses came relatively speedily but third course did not come on time. We were told that our order had gone to the wrong table and even then we waited until we decided we would be too late for our concert. Staff did apologise and offer a free pudding post concert but we were unable to take this up. A pity as we think the food is good and we enjoyed what we had.

Good food. Excellent value. Service a bit slow. Very convenient location in St Martins lane. Looking forward to Cote in Shrewsbury. Tables a little too close together

We visit this branch of Cote for 90% of our London theatre trips. The staff are well trained and particularly engaging. I have to say, there's a really nice buzz, busy and companiable without being overwhelming. We always enjoy our meal and the experience as a whole, not to mention that it's excellent value for money.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere very busy as of course it is in the middle of theatre land. The food was fine but not as good as other COTE we have been to. Portions not huge The price is good value For London. The creme caramel delicious. Smoked Haddock dish not much fish involved. I would recommend Cote. Remember each branch is different and although the menu is the same the chef is different.

The restaurant was busy but the team produced our table for six quite quickly, keeping us refreshed with a complimentary drink to see us through a very short wait. We all enjoyed our various choices and the wine was good. Top marks to a friendly and efficient team for coping well.

Good food but service not so good as at Sloane Square on Saturday. Not enough staff and perhaps not trained too well because they all seemed to be running around chasing their tails and bumping into each other and the customers.

Great food as always, freshly cooked and delicious. We went pre-theatre so it was very busy and quite noisy. Had to wait longer than usual for food but service is good. Tables in this restaurant are very close together.

Good food, good service. The restaurant gets pretty busy and loud on a sat night - particularly after 7.30, not the place for a quiet meal

Great food and first-class service. The early evening set menu is particularly good value and the wine list is varied and reasonably priced - but it would be nice if they offered carafes.

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly but efficient. Excellent, attentive service: courteous and helpful. One particular detail that was appreciated (and is all too rare in restaurants) the staff pointed out any dishes that were not available in giving us the menus. The range of the meals on offer (set menu and specials) is first rate as is the preparation and presentation of the food. The perfect post-theatre experience, our meal was a great end to a great evening.

Perfect small bistro with authentic French cuisine at a convenient site for theatre and opera etc. We have eaten here many times before the opera and it has been efficient and well priced. Staff are very friendly. The downstairs setting area can be a little claustrophobic. We had fortunately never been placed there before, but on this occasion were put next to the serving door. This meant a constant stream of staff crashing past your table that was enough to cause indigestion. I was hit in the back over 50 times during our meal.

Very very good, small quibbles with Limited offer of Gins (Gin has become such a big business now), had to double check bill as server forgot to remove the complimentary wine. Food portions were excellent and very tasty.

Food, as normal in Cote, was good quality and good value on a pre-theatre menu. Long wait for starter plates to be cleared after finishing them. Table was downstairs and I would not want to sit there again as it is too cramped and somewhat noisy. Ask for a table upstairs.

The usual high standard of service and quality of food. No wonder every table appeared to be occupied - people know they can rely on Cote.
