A great welcome and experience. Thank you. We will be back
We arrived early - almost 15 minutes early - and they couldn't have been more helpful. Although the restaurant was packed, the charming Front of House chap found us alternative table to the one they had allocated as this was just finishing up. So we were sat down, menus presented, drinks offered in seconds. The waitress couldn't have been more charming although she said we could not have our free aperitif which you had e-mailed me about, unless we ordered from the Mains menu; which in fact we ended up doing! But by then we each had a glass of fizz in hand and were happy. The food was just what we wanted for lunch and served extremely efficiently without making us feel hurried at all. A lovely experience with delightful staff. Well done you never fail us. I can't give you five stars for the atmosphere as it was very noisy when we arrived, although it got better as it emptied out at 1.45 for the matinee folk.
Lovely meal offering good quality and superb value. We were served by an excellent, professional team who provided great customer service during an extremely busy pre-theatre sitting. Wonderful both to experience and observe! Many thanks.
Very nice Sunday lunch, and even a complementary glass of fizz. Usual high standard from Cote and staff
Great place to go for a nice meal at a great price
The food was excellent, well done! And all at a good price, well done to Cote!
Generally , we enjoy a meal at Cote. This time was exceptionally bad due to the excessive noise level making it impossible to have a normal conversation.
We were sat right at the very back of the restaurant where it was very hot. the table was laid for 6 and we had booked for eight. The waiter got one more chair but then one of our party had to get her own chair from a free table. Then we had to ask for 2 sets of cutlery several times. one of our party asked for bacardi and coke but we were told there was no rum on the premises as there was no room -surely you would expect stock of such a popular drink? However the food as always was delicious
Good food, menu has lots choice & theatre menu, service relaxed & friendly at a peak time, fantastic value. Reliable, tasty food at an excellent price
We went for a pre-theatre dinner. 9 of us . It was great value and delicious food! We had the set menus and some wine. Highly recommend! We were eating in the basement which to be honest was quite loud.
Our first visit to a Cote Brasserie and we were really impressed. The food was excellent- tasty and hot. Service was friendly and attentive, although it was very busy. Will definitely use again.
Good service. One of the dishes, the asparagus risotto was very bland.
Table was ready & we were well looked after by personable staff on a very busy Easter Holiday day .Very good pretheatre menu , good wine list all served on time!
Not quite up to the normal high standard. Calamari were tasteless and fries were hard Very hot in restaurant and air con not on
Good choice of food on set menus at very affordable prices for Central London. Nicely presented. Good service with friendly attentive staff in spite of being very busy.
Excellent food and service . However the restaurant ,like other Côte restaurants we have been to , is far too noisy during busy periods . Consideration should be given for baffling the noise somewhat.
Lively and bustling restaurant with young and attentive staff. A little noisy at peak periods but to be expected. Good choice before theatre/opera attendance.
The staff makes many efforts to make our presence more pleasant!!. I say they do it very good!.. And customers are happy about that
Excellent food and service, I will definitely be returning very soon!
A party of four yo enjoy a get together over a meal. We had the warmest of welcomes and our guests loved the buzz of the restaurant. The food and wine all came quickly and was just lovely, complimented by a great value wine. By the time we had enjoyed the silky desserts we left having enjoyed a very special evening. Thank you Cote St Martin’s Lane team for a great job from start to finish!
Visited on a Friday for pre theatre meal. Glad I had booked in advance as they were extremely busy but despite this the service and food were very good. I had the set 3 course meal which was good value. Only negative was our table was right by the street door and people were hovering around us whilst they waited for their table and a cold breeze every time the door opened.
Another superb meal! Cannot fault the ambiance, service or food (love the food)! Consistently good every time!
Lovely food and Amy a great waitress . All the staff were very pleasant and a very buzzy atmosphere. The food was beautifully cooked and delicious .a very nice pre theatre experience
Busy and buzzy pre-theatre venue but staff were efficient and friendly and the food very good. Invariably end up chatting to your neighbours and certainly not the place to go for an intimate tete a tete!
At first, The team could not find our booking which include complimentary drinks. The service team then stated you can only have the complimentary drinks if you chose from the ala cartel menu. 4 bottles of wine and six meals later. The service team still made an issue of cocktails and grudgingly gave the drinks
A very nice meal just before the theatre, the staff were exceptionally nice and would go again. All cotes I have been to have been of the same standard.
The staff was super kind and made us feel welcome. Our dinner with my griend become a memorable evening, I will return to this restatuant very sooon.
Overall excellent experience as usual - good food, good wine, good service (despite the venue being very busy). Cote continues to be very reliable. Couple of points : The venue is quite noisy (lots of happy eaters talking loudly). Minor quibbles on the food (nit picking here) - the mussels in my moules marinieres (yummy) were very small / a bit dry, my main of monkfish was delicious but I would have increased the spinach and decreased the mushrooms. As I say, nit picking, and we'll be back soon.
Cote's high standard can always be relied upon. We received a warm welcome. The service was good and so was the food and the atmosphere was excellent. It was rather noisy but that was only because it was full of people enjoying their lunch.
Great food, well priced. Excellent service. Only gave 4 stars and not 5 as I often find the temperature in the restaurant a little on the cold side.
Overall, the food was impressive and good value. The staff were very helpful and cheery. The noise level was, however, quite deafening. I really feel some sound deadening material would be in order and make for a more enjoyable experience.
Love Côte and always know that your getting good food. Slow service even though quiet and restaurant bit tired and scruffy . Food was ok. Staff were nice
Excellent service, very convenient for pre/after theatre. A bit noisy.
We quite often meet at a Cote, but this was our first visit to this branch, and we were not disappointed. Our booking was for lunch pre-theatre and the restaurant was very busy (and noisy), but the service was excellent - efficient, calm and personal. As always, the menu choices were varied and interesting, and very good value. The three of us chose different options and very much enjoyed our meals. One of our trio is lactose- and dairy-intolerant, and care was taken to ensure her requirements were met. A chance remark of mine led to a final lovely surprise: the presentation of a complimentary dessert, complete with candle, accompanied by a rendition of Happy Birthday from a quartet of the delightful staff. All in all, a very pleasant experience!
Good food; good value; excellent service worthy of the name
Staff new were going to theatre afterwards and attended to us very promptly and ensured we enjoyed our food and could leave in good time.
Really nice. Good food, good service and a good pre-theatre menu. I had the salmon which was delicious, my friends both had risotto which they said was OK.
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Delicious food and great value
Busy but staff managed to be attentive & good food 👍
A fantastic experience from start to finish, would definitely return.
The restaurant was very full but the service was good as was the food. The starters were excellent and the Sea bass was well cooked and tasty. Desserts too were excellent.
Delicious food. Good value, good portion size and good service.
Very efficient and good service, if a bit frenetic, and well cooked tasty food.
Always great food, friendly and efficient service and a fun night out at Cote Brasserie! Menus change seasonally. Take advantage of their many wine and drink promotions ewhich are excellent value.
Delicious as always! Good service, restaurant a bit too busy today but still efficient. Only complaint/suggestion: French saucisson sec should be sliced more thinly for best enjoyment.
Excellent food great staff and good value for money good cocktails ......... staff could not have been more helpful - we will be back Never had a bad meal at Côte - you guys always deliver
Steaks are fantastic and the service is very very good
Six of us ( 3 adults & 3 children) had an early birthday celebration / pre-theatre dinner here on Saturday. The restaurant was very busy but service was excellent. Food was perfect as always. We were looked after so well by our lovely waiter , Daniele. We love this restaurant.
Fabulous breakfast as usual. Very attentive and polite staff in what ever Cote you go in. Would highly recommend this one.
A wonderful lunch on a Friday stunningly good service including the singing of Happy Birthday with my two guests in Polish with two waitresses along with a cake and candle. We moved tables had food allergies all accommodated with equanimity. To marks all round.
