A great welcome and experience. Thank you. We will be back
Amazing food and the service was perfect! Would definitely recommend eating here!
Music initially much too loud. Intrusive. Wider choice for vegetarians. I know Cote is French but less is eaten today.
Good food and service. Glad we booked as it was extremely busy!!
Very nice Sunday lunch, and even a complementary glass of fizz. Usual high standard from Cote and staff
The food was excellent, well done! And all at a good price, well done to Cote!
Food was reliably good as always. Only problem was the very long wait before we had water and drinks - about 30 minutes. It felt just a little chaotic as maybe the waitress was new?
Food excellent...service friendly if a bit slow to start. Overall good experience.
A fantastic meal with amazing service from our waiter (Tiago). The whole team went above and beyond to help us celebrate my mother's 60th birthday - Could not be more appreciative or recommend Cote St Martin's Lane more!
We went for a pre-theatre dinner. 9 of us . It was great value and delicious food! We had the set menus and some wine. Highly recommend! We were eating in the basement which to be honest was quite loud.
Always extremely good service and a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
Excellent value for money, great service and pleasant ambience. We ate from the pre theatre set menu, plenty of choice. Food was delicious and nicely presented.
As usual, It was very nice, excellent food and service.

Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient service. Good choice of food and value for money set menu.
First time visiting this particular restaurant but it was a little disappointing compared to the one in Clifton Bristol. The service was a little slow and we had to ask for our complimentary drinks a few times. When we ordered our meals, the starters were fine but when the main courses arrived all dishes were overcooked - one even couldn't even eat their pork due to it being too overcooked/tough and one meal was incorrect! upon payment, we noticed we were charged for the cocktails which we had to query. I really like Cote Brasserie in Clifton but not sure I'd go to the one in Covent Gardens again due to the variety of choices very close to the theatre district. Sorry :(
Very enjoyable meal pre-theatre. Service throughout was excellent (especially as I arrived late due to an overrunning commitment) and did everything to make it an good time. Only slight negative was found it quite noisy at time as it was very busy.
Not quite up to the normal high standard. Calamari were tasteless and fries were hard Very hot in restaurant and air con not on
Good choice of food on set menus at very affordable prices for Central London. Nicely presented. Good service with friendly attentive staff in spite of being very busy.
Excellent and delicious as always. Our "Go To" of choice. Ages in group from 27 to 64...Cote suits everyone.
No waiting, great atmosphere and good food. Enjoyed by all. We come to Cote regularly. Very reliable and always come away happy. Can't ask for much more. Tony
We enjoyed delicious food which was beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive on a very busy eventful evening shift. They all acted helpfully and professionally too. An absolute pleasure to dine here.
Excellent food and service, I will definitely be returning very soon!
Tasty food, excellent service for our group of 7 people. The Breton fish stew was particularly good.
Bit noisy but this was the pre-theatre crowd so restaurant very full. Hard to hear what my companion was saying at ties and this not helped by the number of times the servers dropped things on the wooden floor. When that happened the noise was deafening. Our order was taken quickly and the food arrived promptly. Quite small portions but very nice. Don't like service charge to be added to the bill - I like to decide for myself if I will tip - so I asked for it to be taken off which made the waitress feel that she had done something wrong. She hadn't, she was charming and we left a tip anyway, but I would still prefer not to be forced into it.
We had the set menu. Food was not good - in particular the Breton chicken was dry and had a strange texture. There was a nice selection of wine though and we enjoyed our drinks.
Staff were very attentive, polite and efficient despite the Pre-Theatre rush. The food was lovely. Well done. It was a lovely experience after a long journey by train. Keep it up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good service from the waiters and good food and wine served without having to wait too long and the price was acceptable for a pre-theatre meal.
My mussels were not up to cote standards 4 empty and juice cold . Cheltenham’s recently were excellent . First time bad course in Cote.
The food was excellent, service friendly but somewhat slow. Had to leave I a hurry to make it to the theatre. Tea arrived too late to enjoy,
Such friendly helpful staff who always serve us well and efficiently for pre-theatre meal. Wide choice of food and drink with excellent vegetarian choices. Highly recommended.
Good food, good location, good service at a reasonable price.
Very nice restaurant, with typical french dishes. Very friendly waiters.
My wife and I enjoyed excellent food and service. The new April menu was great. We will definitely choose Cote Brasserie next time we are in n town.
Saturday evening in a buzzy restaurant. The food was delicious and exactly what I expect from a French brasserie. Charming and quick service. Crab bisque+duck pate/veal chop+ribeye chips, salad, veg/plum tart/Chinon wine = £103 (US$140).
Excellent experience as always. Lively atmosphere and a good choice of set menu at very reasonable prices and quick, efficient, friendly service. Look forward to returning soon.
Excellent service, very convenient for pre/after theatre. A bit noisy.
Waitress was not friendly and welcoming. Table was ready on time.
The food is always good and excellent value for money. Unfortunately today I had a table at 6.15 for a pre-theatre meal and our main courses did not appear until after 7.15 (play started at 7.30). The staff were reasonably apologetic and gave us 50% discount but that did not make up for having to shovel the main course down in 5 minutes flat. Hopefully this is not a regular occurrence.
Cote was its usual friendly self we are regular visitors at St Albans good choices on menu and good quality, look forward to next time. Thank you
Delicious food. Good value, good portion size and good service.
Very busy pre-theatre service but the staff coped well and we still had a great experience. Good food and excellent friendly service as usual. Thank you!
We love coming to Cote. It never disappoints. The service is great, the food beautiful, waitressing staff lovely and always very welcoming. Great value for money too.
very good value for money and excellent service during the evening. I would certainly recommend this to anybody and the fixed price menu is great value also.
We eat at Cote quite regularly and are never disappointed in the food, which is excellent value, good quality and well-cooked, or the staff, who are invariably polite and efficient. The branch in St Martin's Lane is a bit noisy and crowded, the downside of its popularity, and we were extremely put out to be turned away at Christmas because we hadn't reserved a table. So booking is essential - we won't make that mistake again.
Love Cote. Always great food and great value. Try the fish stew, you won’t regret it! Atmosphere is buzzy but not too noisy. Friendly and quick service which combined with a location in the heart of theatreland make it’s a perfect pre-show choice.
What a delightful find right across from our theater engagement. Wonderful wait staff and superb cuisine. The pre-theater menu is thoughtfully conceived at two price point levels and the regular menu is enticing. The in-season asparagus dishes are a taste treat so enjoy while you can. Several dishes highlight this specialty - select them all! We will be returning for more of everything. Lively before the theater and quieter thereafter.
Good Food and good service as always, a very enjoyable experience
I eat at St Martin's Lane quite often. The staff are always friendly and efficient - Ivette who waited on us today deserves special commendation. Good food. Good value.
Excellent service! Waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. Food was well executed and taste amazing! Coffee was also very pleasant, loved the fact it was served in a glass mug. Slight draft from the air vents which made us feel a bit chilly but the customers next to us also found this and the waitress kindly put the heating on for them! Aside from this it was a lovely experience and i think sitting elsewhere in the restaurant would have made for a much more pleasurable experience. Would definitely be going again!
Perfect light lunch before the theatre. Couldn't fault the food or service!
