Excellent service during a busy time - hot, good food, attentive staff and buzzing atmosphere. Perfect spot for pre-matinee lunch with Grandparents and kids! Thank you.

I like Cote but the last 2 times I have visited, in Leeds and in London, the food has been tepid. The plates are hot but the food isn’t, and although it’s delicious, I prefer my food freshly cooked and hot. How long has it been sitting in the kitchen before being served? It’s disappointing and it’s putting me off visiting Cote again.

A very busy restaurant in the heart of theatre land so booking in advance is strongly recommended but that said the staff here are invariably cheerful and helpful and the menu always very good and varied from time to time. I have a few favourite Côte sites and this is one. With any “chain” restaurant you are somewhat at the mercy of the staff but never a problem here.

The service is quick and efficient but always with a happy smile . Whatever we all ate the food was delicious . The menu is varied enough for everyone’s taste and budget . It is a place where you can happily arrange to meet friends and know that they will all enjoy the experience

I booked a relatively large table (8) and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was ready for us be seated immediately at the booked time. Service was terrific: friendly and attentive despite a very busy and full restaurant. We all selected items from the set menu. Excellent quality and value for money. The house wine that we were fairly generous with ourselves with was very good. Will return!

Great food & drink, reasonably priced, unobtrusive but efficient service, lively atmosphere. Maitre d' was quite brusque but he didn't detract from a very enjoyable evening.

Really nice food and a leisurely lunch. Restaurant is right in the heart of town and represents very good value on the set menu options. Slightly spoilt by a noisy group seated near us.

The bill was wrong we ordered the complimentary bottle of wine, the waiter was aware it was complimentary but still added it to the bill ...not so long ago we had a complimentary pre dinner drink at cotes and the same thing happened it was added to the bill. If cotes offer complimentary drinks then they should not be added to the bill, especially when they are ordered it is made quite clearly that they are free of charge.

The food was excellent for the price: a really good lunch! However, the ambience was ruined for us by the close proximity of a table full of selfish screamers, shouters & cacklers. We noticed that a couple seated right next to them departed very quickly indeed. Eventually, a waiter did offer us a table elsewhere, but by this time we were halfway through our main course. I wish we could have been offered a table in a quiet area when we arrived. I`ll know next time.

Very busy and hectic, we were late due to our great railway network, but we rang the restaurant and despite being very busy kept our table. Our waitress was amazing and made sure we got away in time for the show.

Lovely evening with friends. Our dishes were beautifully cooked and served including tuna salad, fish parmienter and duck breast. Followed by deserts. The price including a bottle of wine and coffee £120 for 4 people. Cote in Tavistock street is one of my favourite restaurants. Highly recommended.

Well served by our waiter and the rest of the staff but there was a small inaccuracy on our order. We asked for calamari but with garlic mayo instead of tartare sauce. yes we were told but we were served the tartare sauce. a small blot on an otherwise good evening.

Arrived for a pre-theatre meal. Very busy but thankfully we had booked. Service excellent. Our order was taken promptly and although we decided on the two course menu there would have been time for a third. Charlotte, our waitress, gave friendly and efficient service. I felt Cote was especially suited for those looking to eat before the theatre. Food interesting but unfussy. Happy to recommend.

We were expected and a prepared table was waiting for us. We decided on two courses and were very happy with not only the quality of the food and its presentation but the service provided which was welcoming friendly and professional. This was an excellent experience with friends after a very enjoyable matinee at the theatre. Jim.

An excellent meal, wonderful waiter service and attention. Nothing was too much trouble, although when we arrived, having pre-booked over 2 weeks before, it was slightly disconcerting to find that our table for 7 was not ready. As the restaurant became very busy leter on, we were glad that we arrived early and could be fitted in easily. We wonder what would have happened if we arrived an hour later.

This was a very ordinary meal. The sourdough toast that was served with my wife's salmon rillettes has obviously been sitting around for quite a while and was consequently dried out and too hard to eat. The watercress garnish was limp. The salad that came with her sea bass was past limp - it was brown and slimy! Not a good advert for a chain that stakes its reputation on serving consistently good food.

We did not stay to eat as the chaos was unacceptable. We had booked a table for 6.30 but this was not available. We had requested a spacious table hoping to enjoy room for a comfortable 3 course meal with aperitifs, bottles of water and wine. We were eventually shown to a tiny table, the gap between the tables was miniscule (being a larger lady I could not even get through the gap). The table was by the door which meant we had to keep our coats on, it was that cold. So many people were crowded in the entrance area and around our table, it was uncomfortable for us. We were given complimentary drinks and assured we would be transferred to a larger table. After 30 minutes this had not happened and we left, never to return to Cote.

Good food, reasonably priced for central London. A little cramped (maybe too many tables in to smaller area). Staff could be a little more friendly. Doesn’t cost anything to smile and show some personality.

We visited this restaurant for the first time three days ago, it was suggested by a family member who informed us that the chain constantly provided excellent food. As we were going to the theatre tonight, we decided to return. The ribeye steak I had on the first visit, was excellent, one of the best I’ve had in years. Today I had the fish stew, the ingredients were fresh and it tasted excellent. I must also mention the french onion soup, which was good, though slightly too sweet for me, although my wife thought it was perfect. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Brilliant Service, food and value. My wife and I are regular 'high end' diners, but we love this place when we're in Covent Garden, from Scotland. Genuinely can't believe the quality of the food for the price. bottle of champagne is only about £35 too!

Nice meal and I was surprised with a chorus of Happy Birthday ... It was my 75th but I kept quiet about it!! Anyway it was lovely and we blamed family for leaking the news but it turns out it must have been Cote that realised it was my Big day. Nice touch and because of the celebrations we spoke to complete strangers on an adjoining table and ended up being invited to their Hotel in Italy!!! Thank you to all.
