As always this is a reliable restaurant which is why I always come back time and again.
Cote never fails to impress. From start to finish we had a fantastic expierence. Food was delicious. Welcoming and attentive staff and the complimentary cocktail for Peters birthday was a welcome and appreciated gesture. Can not recommend enough and looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Cote.
A very busy lunch time and yet the staff were universally charming and the food excellent. It was very busy and yet all the food I ordered came quickly and was delicious.
Unfortunately arriving 15mins late for our Pre theatre dinner we were escorted to our table and looked after beautifully. Food was excellent and service was top class!! Super staff - we felt very spoiled!
Family of 5 having brunch as part of a 21st celebration. The staff were very attentive and provided us with complimentary drinks due to it being for a birthday which was very kind. The food was delicious and amazing value. Thanks so much!
The food was excellent as always, but on this occasion the service was slightly disappointing. The blood orange martini was excellent and a good price. The most annoying thing about Cote is the need to leave 25 words in the review. Most of the time 10 would be more than adequate!!!
We were delighted with our meal and your friendly service. Thanks you. To be constructive, the Ladies’ facilities were lacking, I thought,in freshness. I wonder how often it is checked?
Extensive choice on 3 menus including a la Carte and 2 or 3 course options. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Food served at a good pace. Unbeatable value.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal in very pleasant surroundings. The set menu was very good value for money. Excellent service even though very busy. Would visit again.
Delicious food. 5 of us had different items and everyone enjoyed their food.Nice atmosphere. Very friendly helpful staff. Good location for theatres. Would definitely return.
Excellent food, the Steak was amazing! Great service and value for money
Happily surprised at food quality and service level, but the 'crockery concerto' of dishes flying into the dumbwaiter frequently drowned out our conversation, even after we'd mentioned it to the lovely staff. Will return though...
Good service, good food and prompt serving of the meals. Prices are reasonable too. Staff were friendly and a nice atmosphere. Slightly noisy but bearable.
Another excellent pre-theatre meal in this busy branch of Cote. The value for money, the friendly staff, service and ambience were all just what we like.
Six of us really enjoyed our meal at Cote in Covent Garden. The service was efficient and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and overall it was a very pleasant experience. There atmosphere was lively and a bit loud but not unpleasant. I consider Cote to be good value for money.
We had a really good time, the staff were lovely and everything was perfect for a great meal out celebrating a 30th Birthday. Thank you
Very quick and efficient service. The staff were very friendly. The food was great and excellent value for money. It is in a great location near Covent Garden.
Food was delicious as always and really good value. Friends who had not been before really enjoyed it. I will definetly be eating at Cote again. Thank you.
Left after not being served for 10-15 minutes. Arrived at 12 - half the restaurant empty, but placed within area others still having breakfast. Egg smell and burnt smells. Not particularly appetising. Poor, won’t return.
We were sat in a window seat - a great place to people watch the bustle around Covent Garden. Great atmosphere and delicious food.
It was Fantastic food and service, special touch of complimentary kir royale for birthday , excellent value for money - I would highly recommend this restaurant ...
Excellent pre theatre meal for 9 ...the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the restaurant for its location staff and menu. As usual Côte did not fail to please
Great food, friendly helpful staff. We were heading to the theatre and didn't have long, but the food and drink came very quickly and tasted great!
Lovely atmosphere but felt as though they wanted us out our table was at 1245 we had the prestige menu and 2bottles of wine and drinks as well Overall the food was fabulous
Great evening for friends birthday. Lovely waitress - delicious food! Thank you, will definitely be back again soon. Recommend the steak frites and chocolate pudding!
There’s Good food, good value and great staff! Enough said.
Very good. My lady said the coffie (americano) was a better taste than Sloane square.
Throughly enjoyed the experience. Brilliant food, attentive service and excellent value for money. Well done Cote. Will definitely recommend.
Excellent, delicious food and friendly efficient service, air/con too chilly!
I use Côte a great deal – I often take and send clients to their restaurants. It had been my birthday and they made a fuss of me. I was well embarrassed; it was unexpected as I had had no idea that they even had my DOB on their database. But thanks, guys!
My wife and I had a lovely meal after seeing a show. We were also celebrating my wife’s birthday and had a complementary glass of Kia royale. The meal was excellent also the service ( our waiter was James ) who was very helpful and polite . Can’t praise a Cotes enough.
Great but very fast service so we were done in 30 mins which is a bit rushed
Ambience, service, food all excellent and made for a wonderful post theatre meal. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We will definitely recommend and be back again!
Service quite slow with an extremely rude waiter. After 20 mins and 2 tables which ordered later than us got their food we asked the waiter to check on our food. She told us we needed to wait 20 more minutes (restaurant was barely half full). Pointed out we'd been waiting 20 minutes already to which she said "no you haven't Hun" and when I pointed out other tables received their food earlier she said "well I don't know". Dinner completely ruined. Do not come to this branch.
Lovely Parisian feel to it. Food good but 2 of our part who had steak, said it was just ok. The entrance & waiting area need to be looked at, very poor. The ladies toilets for too small & it would be nice if you gave a little sweet with the bill. Just a nice little touch, to think about.
Thank you so much for last night. I had the most wonderful birthday dinner with my family. Thank you for making me feel so special and for the great care you took of all of us. It was a night I'll remember all my life.
Very good food and service; background music too loud, making having a conversation extremely difficult, although it was turned down after we complained.
I am not sure I have ever given anybody a low 3 star review before. That tells you something! Nice venue for a meal and as our visit was pre-theatre, it was early dinner - 16:45 start. So, it begs the question - how on earth could they have only one beef bourguignon left (we had ordered two)? Not the end of the World and a another selection made. The main course arrived and it was pointed out by me, the carrot and french bean side dishes were not in evidence. Only after much coaxing was it admitted they had been totally forgotten and I was halfway through my meal before they arrived. A goodwill reduction of £8.70 was made to the bill, without prompting by me. The positives - quite an extensive menu to choose from, the staff were pleasant and attentive and service in terms of food presentation and delivery was very good. I would return - but please - must do better.
Amazing Valentine’s meal with wine pairings. Starter was prawns in a chilli, garlic and tomato sauce which was amazing. For main, the duck breast was cooked to perfection. And great sharing dessert. Highly recommended.
Everything was excellent - as usual. A wonderful prelude to going across to the Opera House. Your staff, in particular, are wonderful, and contribute so much to the pleasure of dining at Cote.

We both thought the food was delicious and authentically French, especially as the pre-Theatre menu was cheaper than other restaurants in the local area. The staff were charming and we had no trouble settling our bill in time for the ROH at 7.30.
Took a while to be seated and then wait for our table to be cleared but brilliant otherwise especially good service and exquisite house wine. Thanks
Good experience. Very good food and friendly staff. Rather noisy - restaurant full - so talking sometimes difficult.
This was my second time eating at Cote Brasserie Covent Garden and again I would recommend the food, the choice and the service. It is busy around 5pm while people eat before the theatre so I would recommend booking if you want to go at that time of day.
The ambiance was friendly and relaxed and the food delightful. The accompanying wine was moreish! The Creme Caramel is to die for! You always know what you get with Côte & I’m never disappointed.
The waitress that took our order was very efficient and friendly, however she went on a break, from then on the service was appalling, we booked a table for 1.30, however we did arrive 15 minutes earlier, the first course took nearly an hour to be served and then another long wait and being ignored before the main courses were served, I had sword fish, and it appeared to be over defrosted in a microwave before being griddled, and because of this it became the tiny piece of fish you could imagine, and the taste was not nice, two of my family had salad, and I don't think you could of got another piece of lettuce in it, the ingredients that should of been in there where very hard to find. However two of our party had sirloin steak, which they enjoyed. I would like to ask why you don't have a children's menu, even at lunchtime, is it because you don't want to encourage family's to eat at Cote, and as it took so long to provide chicken and fries for my young granddaughter, she began to get very hungry and overtired, and irritable. We had to ask several times for more water, before it arrived at the table. I could go on but I think you get the gist, of our visit, it was my other granddaughters 18th birthday, and it turned out to be very disappointing. We have eaten at many Cote restaurants, and this is the worst experience we have had.
Always go to Cote when we go to the theatre. Never disappointed always consistent in every way. Excellent choice on alacarte and pre theatre menus and affordable.
A very popular restaurant with excellent food served well by cheerful and friendly staff who know what they are doing. The restaurant is well placed for theatre goers and the service is prompt despite being very busy. It's best to book a table in advance.
Excellent service, wide choice on the menu, food first class
Service was excellent, we turned up 20mins early and was very welcomed and no issue. Our waitress (sorry didn’t get her name but was from Naples) was very attentive. The food was fresh and very tasty. Would recommend the fish stew. Prices were reasonable and wine was delicious cotes du Rhône Thank you to all the staff we will return.
