Côte - Covent Garden

As usual with all CōTE outlets very enjoyable. The food is consistently good and the servers are as always friendly and efficient. Good food, particularly the Fish Parmentier and the Cod Goujons, complemented with a very good viognier at a remarkably reasonable price. Excellent evening and well up to standard.

Brilliant as normal. The service absolutely fab!! Food delicious, it’s why we always head to a Côte whatever city we happen to be in, always reliable.

We waited a little while for a table and were very pleasantly surprised when the bar staff offered us complementary kir royale whilst we were waiting! It was very busy but the food arrived promptly, and was good quality for the price (as usual). We will definitely visit this branch of Cote again. My only negative comment would be that the toilets downstairs aren't in a great state - cramped and not very clean inside.

Good service, great menu. Only down side was being close to the main door, so in this really cool period of winter we were all cold.

Delicious food and wine at reasonable price - delivered quickly so easy to get to a theatre after dinner. Definitely recommend a Cotes Brasserie anywhere - especially in London when out to theatres.

Our pre-booked party of six were squeezed onto a table for four and I had to move several times to let other people in and out. Food was OK but could have been better.

One of our party had an over cooked steak. The staff were fabulous and just took it away and changed it. Atmosphere was nice and we had a lovely pre theatre dinner. Only grumble would be the state of one of the ladies toilets.... someone must have complained as it was locked on my next visit with my daughter however this resulted in having to queue.

Easy to book online we were having a birthday celebration the waitress was lively jolly and very efficient we were treated to a glass of fizz and a pudding and singing a very special evening and food was great too!

Great food, good service and pleasant atmosphere. Tables for two are very cramped and extremely close together. Being a larger lady, I could not get through the gap between the tables.

Loved this Cote, it was super busy on Mothers Day so understandably the service was a a bit patchy. All our food arrived together and was delicious. Our son was well cared with an excellent menu for as a coeliac and we all had great meals. Set meal was a fab deal! Thanks Cote X

As always a very enjoyable pre-ROH meal. Good quality and value. Pleasant atmosphere. Very helpful staff. A convenient and ideal venue for pre theatre or lunchtime dining.

The meal was beautifully cooked, well seasoned and all fresh ingredients served piping hot. The staff were very courteous and attentive even tbough they were very busy. We will come again. Red Hatters - St Neots Toller Girls.

First time at Cote Brasserie and we were really impressed with the service, ambience and standard and choice of food. Will definitely be going to another one of your restaurants in a different location nearer to home.

Been to this chain of restaurants many times so know what to expect.tavistock Road is one we have been to on several occasions being Mothering Sunday it wasn’t as busy as usual so was badly let down by the service .We waited almost an hour after our starters so asked what happened to our food .The majority of the staff we too busy gossipping to take much notice of us so took almost 15minutes to get attention bearing in mind we were the only ones in the first part of the restaurant .The manageress apologised and said it was due to staff change over shift that our food had been forgotten to order

Arrived earlier than our booking but welcomed despite a full restaurant. Excellent service and meal (unsurprisingly) very good. Jari looked after us with the usual Cote excellence.

Good food but what stands out for me are the people...all so polite, friendly and helpful.

The food at Cote is always great but the Tavistock Street restaurant is superb. Delicious, mouth-watering delights coupled with excellent, friendly service. What more could you want! Thank you to all the team at Tavistock Street.

Four of us booked for a pre-theatre meal. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was really good. Excellent value for money and we would definitely recommend.

A great pre-show meal. Remember to book! We really enjoyed an excellent meal, great service and a fab atmosphere. Will certainly go again if the opportunity arises.

The meal as always was very good, lovely combinations, great flavours and well presented. Also, being the first time we have been to this particular restaurant, we were glad we had prebooked as it was very busy. We were seated promptly at a table for two immediately outside of the toilet which was in constant use. The area where the stacking of dirty dishes from table clearance was behind us just a few feet away and the clattering of said dishes was extremely noisy, so the positioning of our table was really disappointing. Personally I do not think cramming just one more table for two in this very busy restaurant at the expense of a negative dining experience is justified. Because of this I’ve awarded only an average rating and I’m not sure I would return to this particular Côte restaurant.

Fast and friendly service with extremely tasty food. Very good location for the theatres. They automatically put water on all the tables. Would definitely recommend for pre theatre dining.

A pleasant meal in a very busy restaurant. Reasonably comfortable, but a little draughty, since it was the coldest day of the year so far.

Excellent service - attentive and friendly - and good food at a very reasonable price makes Côte one of our favourite restaurants. It’s our first choice for pre-theatre dining but we also like to linger over dinner itself as the main event. There’s always a good choice with monthly specials. Would recommend.

Very nice food, atmosphere and staff, great time. And lovely complementary gin and tonic. I love the gluten free menu as I'm intolerant, there are a lot of options.

So great to visit a proper Côte after my terrible experience at the Marlow branch a couple of weeks ago. Hats off to all the staff - front and back of house. Thats how you do it! Suggest you bus the Marlow staff to Tavistock Street to show them how it should be done.
