Efficient, helpful and welcoming staff. There was a good choice of food on the set menu and we were very satisfied with what we had.

Very modern and new feel to the restaurant which is quite large. It was almost empty and so really did lack atmosphere, although this did mean service was very good. The food was excellent but a little overpriced, especially as vegetables had to be paid for separately. Unless you go for the early evening set menu, a three course dinner with wine is going to cost at least £30 a head. Service is included which is something I prefer to decide on.

Nice decor and friendly staff. The food was very good and the quality of wine on offer was also good. Service was a little slow for initial drinks and dessert but aside from that service was very good. A very nice evening spent with friends was helped by nice surroundings good food and polite and intelligent staff. I have visited other establishments in the chain and would certainly have no problem recommending this one in Dorking. Well done

All staff were lovely as always and the food was just delicious, we really enjoyed out starters and the steaks were cooked to perfection, thanks very much.

A Thursday evening meal. The food was delicious, service very pleasant and friendly, and a thoroughly pleasant experience. I would definitely return again at any evening.

Wonderful breakfast, however cannnot see how I can book for a birthday kir royal treat and it's too early too drink. Very disappointing. Think this is a Problem??

Food excellent quality and value as always. Service was fine and we hope that the staff do actually receive the gratuities. Busy as usual with lots of ladies who lunch.

We had an excellent set 3 course meal. The service was excellent. Food quick to arrive and was very tasty and well presented. Lovely atmosphere.

First waiter we had made us feel very rushed and didn't speak clearly for a loud restaurant. Although the second waitress we had was lovely, made us feel very comfortable. Food was lovely, thanks :)

A very pleasant quiet lunch with my wife. Very good food and service as always. My wife was disappointed that the Crab and Avocado was not available neither was the Crab dish on the main menu. But we still found many other dishes to satisfy us. Neil Stuart

The food was excellent as were the staff. The furnishing is a bit sparse and the restaurant could benefit from a more atmospheric design approach.

Very good service. Great food and wine. Not pestered to order and did not feel rushed when out talking and catching up with friends. Would recommend.

Cote Brasserie at Dorking was for me as enjoyable as the last few times I have visited this restaurant . The food and attention we received could not be faulted.

out of 3 meals 2 were overcooked - the chicken was dry and seemed like it had been kept warm - we were told the steak would be pink but was not the case. we did eat it all though - luckily the third meal was a salad - which was delcious. sometimes complaining isn't worth the effort when the staff are friendly

Lovely meal -friendly, thoughtful staff. Always a pleasure going to Cote in Dorking. Only niggle was that although the prawns , mussels and squid in my fish stew were deliciously fresh, the fish (was it haddock?) was a bit dry and not as fresh as I would have liked.

Excellent service. They overheard that it was my guest's birthday and so gave us all a glass of rosè bubbly on the house and a free desert for the birthday girl - a nice gesture.

Really good evening out with friends. Good food and wine and a convivial atmosphere. Staff attentive but not intrusive. Good to visit especially in a group.

Cote has achieved that most difficult of personas to establish in the catering business. Reliability. How many times does one visit a restaurant chain and find ''things have slipped''. So much nicer to arrive relaxed in the knowledge that the next two hours are going to be just right. Keep it up.

Had a very pleasant lunch on 11 June at Cote Brasserie in Dorking. Not too busy but with enough people there to make it social. Food excellent and staff friendly.

We booked for 1245pm ...as we wanted a brunch..as it was my Birthdaywe booked online for 1245 for brunch... ...but when we arrived... we were told at 1240.... ...that the breakfast menu was no longer available...(and we couldn't get a free kir Royale) ..we said that that was not a problem}..we didnt want one ...!! But they insisted that we couldn't order from the breakfast menu ..even though ... it said both on your website and on the menu... they gave us ...that breakfast was available until 1300 on Sundays...and on my ...Happy Birthday email...that breakfast... on Sunday was available also ...until 1300hrs...our lunch was very nice...but we didn't want the free Kir Royale ..we just wanted Brunch ...but were unable to have it 20 minutes before it should end...regards Imelda Fisher

We were charged for a bottle of wine instead of a glass but did not realise until we arrived home, telephoned the restaurant and it was rectified immediately . Good food friendly staff.

A good lively atmosphere on a warm summer evening made for an enjoyable experience. Food as always very good and served by friendly polite staff.

Lovely restaurant and friendly professional staff, comfortable surrounding. Starters were delicious, very well presented. Unfortunately on this occasion the rib eye steak and to a lesser extent the fillet, were not up to the usual quality. So much so my husband abandoned his ribeye mid way through as he lost the will to chew! We will visit again as we really like both this Cotes and the one in Reigate, and will treat this as hopefully a one off slippage from the usual high quality.

The whole experience was very enjoyable. The food was good and the staff were very helpful and attentive on what was a very busy evening.

We had the early supper deal. The place was packed which created a good atmosphere. We feel this restaurant is ideal for our needs and it is good value . The food is superior to a lot of the local pubs . My asparagus soup just didn't taste of asparagus although you could see it was freshly made.

Excellent menu with a wide choice. Something to suit everyone. A little noisy due to wooden floor. Happy service from the staff with good humour and a smile.

Another good meal at Dorking Côte with great perfectly cooked sirloin steaks and Sancerre wine a real bonus . Service was a bit slower and slightly less friendly than usual which was a shame as had brought new friends with us to show this branch off !! Will be back soon however ... maybe not on a Monday

very warm welcome, superb food, and excellent service. Extensive menu, with choices for all appetites, and pockets.Accurate description of dishes, with appropriate guides for allergies/vegetarian/vegan and gluten free. Breakfast lunch or dinner are all good!

Greeted promptly and shown to our table quickly.Food,as always,very good however it took much longer than usual to arrive, The manager very kindly, made an adjustment to our bill to reflect this without us saying anything. Very impressed

Though the restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening, our party were waited on in a timely manner. We were busy catching up and the staff left us in peace. The service was excellent. The food was lovely.

6 of us went for a meal at Dorking cote and everyone had a different meal and enjoyed it. The service was good and the staff polite and attentive. We will deffinitely go again.

Just how a brasserie should be, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and perfectly cooked steaks. Centrally located in Dorking this was a perfect spot for a quick, and tasty, business lunch.

Staff welcoming as usual. Unfortunately one starter not available hence not quite full marks. Food was delicious and well cooked. Have never had a bad meal here.
