Nice to see you back were a little disappointed not to have the a la carte menu available at lunch time, but lunch was very enjoyable and well up to.usual standard. Will be back!

It was lovely to get back to Dorking cote -we missed it! I asked about David who was the manager and informed he’s at Reigate now. I think it’s a big loss to Dorking! He really made the place - he created an energy and warmth about place. I’m sad he’s gone and he will be missed. Mostly everything was good. The butter tasted a bit strange and I wondered if you have changed brand. It didn’t taste very nice. It was bit more expensive as you don’t have the formulae offer anymore but we still enjoyed

So nice to have the restaurant back open again. The staff and food are excellent. They are very welcoming to you and take great care in dealing with the current situation. The staff make.it feel.almost normal again. Food is superb and full of flavour. We look forward to going back again and again.

Delicious food, professional, friendly and prompt service! We were reassured also to see that the necessary pandemic precautions were being taken seriously - although it would be good to also have an antibacterial hand gel for people to use on their way in and out.

Delighted Dorking CÔTE has reopened...managed to get a table for their re-opening night...warm welcome form all the team there, most of whom were there before 'lockdown'. New menus, newly refurbished, but the same fantastic food, and superb service. We selected one or two favourites, plus some new options, and everyone was delighted with their choices...whether steaks, chicken or fish (the tuna nicoise was lovely), which had been preceded with a variety of starters, the baked crotin being popular, as were the Pork rillettes..chilled wines, lovely evening, thank you

So lovely to have our local Cote open for business again. The usual excellent food was available and service also very good.

So pleased to be back and delighted to catch up with the staff, who must have had such a difficult time during te lockdown. Food and wine excellent.

It was great to be back at our local Cote, and the food and service were as good as ever. We have enjoyed Cote delivery during lockdown but it’s so much nicer to be waited on.

Relaxed impromptu lunch booked 30 mins beforehand. As a full time wheelchair user the Cote Dorking is an excellent venue. Staff helpful and friendly. Food reasonably priced and tasty. Would have got 5 stars but it took 20 mins before they realised they did not have the ingredients for our celebration cocktails.

Excellent service from managing staff and waitress, thank you. Small hiccup with two options of lamb which was rectified and the correct one brought after it was identified as the wrong one. Compensated with a g and t whilst waiting. Good food. Sent from my iPhone

We enjoyed a great evening at Cote Dorking. It was my daughter’s birthday. The restaurant is quite large but also cosy. The staff were friendly and perfectly attentive. The food was delicious. Thank you!

Great service by the staff. Really friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the starter (calamari), really light and fresh. Was a bit disappointed by the steak. It was advertised as rib eye but was too thin and did not taste fresh. I asked for it medium but it was well done due to it being quite thin. Really happy with the free bottle of wine though as a first time customer!

Cote were excellent when they first started, then dipped a bit but they’re back up there again. I wouldn’t normally order chicken on a night out as it’s usually a boring choice, but they do it so well, it’s really tasty! The cheese selection after was delicious too.

Lovely Brunch today the first I have had in Cote Brasserie usually have lunches and evening meals. So nice to try something different for a change usually go to Carluccios in Cobham for Breakfast and Brunch. It was a good experience but the portion control at Cote is not a patch on Carluccios but the quality of food is better at Cote. (You can't have it all)

Great welcome, cheffing and service the usual high standard. This is our favourite Cote which is why we keep coming back! You have an excellent team at Dorking.

Great food and service. But stopped serving alcohol at 10.30, which since there were plenty of other people still in the restaurant, seemed very strange and really put a damper on the evening, especially since we had to wait nearly an hour for a taxi. Is this usual in all Cote restaurants?

Great food and amazing service - our waiter Joaquín gave us the most incredible five star service. Never experienced a waiter as diligent and helpful. Outstanding!

We had a family get together for six people. It was great fun and the service was very good. Some us had the March specials. I had the warm Tiger Prawns and the Lamb which was very good.

Beautiful food, fantastic value and excellent staff, I would highly recommend to anyone. We all had the set menu, the choice was really good, we also had 2 bottles of the Merlot which was really good.

On a rare occasion when all our children are home at the same time, cote is the only place where they want to go. Great service, great food and great fun

We asked four times for our wine which arrived in time for the main course. I would NT have paid the service charge but my wife didn’t want to make a fuss.

We had a very enjoyable meal. We found the food delicious. Perfectly cooked chicken and steak. Staff were friendly, polite and professional. Would definitely return.

Always a friendly welcome, but we had to ask for a nicer table because we were offered one between upper & lower areas in a throughway. Service was good and food excellent.

Hi I am a regular at your Dorking Restauarnt ,Can I say this crtism is one not about the food last evening or the dutymanager who is a beat guy. Four of my friends dinned we all had various starters and all had a main course of the Breton chicken etwitha coulple bottle s of Chable and Brandyto follow . We served by what I can only say was a over sellout waiter male ,he spoke fast his English was poor ,he was fast in every thing he did . My dinner was to catch up with old friends so a lot of chat , h(however this guy spoilt the evening then by emptying the bottles continueous noise , In the end I spoke to him and the duty manager who duly dealt with him . Spolt evening . Trading is needed here on how he deals with customers . David the Manager I am sure will deal with , i will continue to eat here , but with that noise LEVEL. Menu has hardly changed over a long period of time. I used to be a very regular diner at your restaurants, but have move to other venues for a change of menu. I came back to Cote last week to try again, but little has changed, the quality is good, but more variety is needed over time.

Very good service and consistently well prepared dishes with fresh produce and well sourced quality fish and meat.
