We had a very enjoyable meal. We found the food delicious. Perfectly cooked chicken and steak. Staff were friendly, polite and professional. Would definitely return.

Always a friendly welcome, but we had to ask for a nicer table because we were offered one between upper & lower areas in a throughway. Service was good and food excellent.

Excellent service, great food, lovely experience. As it was a very a very warm day at the time of my visit to Dorking Cote, it would have helped if more cooling inside the restaurant was available which is the only reason for the rating not being 5*

Hi I am a regular at your Dorking Restauarnt ,Can I say this crtism is one not about the food last evening or the dutymanager who is a beat guy. Four of my friends dinned we all had various starters and all had a main course of the Breton chicken etwitha coulple bottle s of Chable and Brandyto follow . We served by what I can only say was a over sellout waiter male ,he spoke fast his English was poor ,he was fast in every thing he did . My dinner was to catch up with old friends so a lot of chat , h(however this guy spoilt the evening then by emptying the bottles continueous noise , In the end I spoke to him and the duty manager who duly dealt with him . Spolt evening . Trading is needed here on how he deals with customers . David the Manager I am sure will deal with , i will continue to eat here , but with that noise LEVEL. As said food great , duty manager good , waiter poor Regards Roger Main

Fabulous food with great service -there's no better Chicken in town. Cote never disappoints, the menu is really comprehensive so there's always something for everyone. Looking forward to my next visit.

Father's day brunch.. Food came super quick! Love Cote anyway especially the breakfast so never disappointed anyway! But great atmosphere and very efficient service! Usually go to Horsham branch but came to Dorking as Horsham was full! Dorking is beautiful and Cote is very well situated in the town! Will be back 😊

Lovely evening in this lively restaurant. The steak frites were perfect but some of my cod goujons were very overcooked sadly...this was dealt with very well by the charming waitress. Always a delight to come here, service always second to none.

Menu has hardly changed over a long period of time. I used to be a very regular diner at your restaurants, but have move to other venues for a change of menu. I came back to Cote last week to try again, but little has changed, the quality is good, but more variety is needed over time.

A relaxed breakfast on Bank Holiday Monday with perfectly prepared food, drinks and friendly staff .

Lovely breakfast and very good value at £10.50 per head including a fruit juice and hot drink of your choice. Nicely presented. Pleasant staff, would recommend this as a perfect place for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday.

lovely sunny day, so decided on lunch @ COTE. The restaurant was warm and inviting , as to the welcome from Katarina, and the team there. Superb starters,beautifully presented...the whitebait in its own mini frying pan, and the goats cheese was delicious. Mains of butterflied chicken were wonderfully seasoned, perched on a bed of mash,with petit pois +lardons. Irresistible creme caramels,were perfect! The delicious meal, attentive service throughout by Irena and Ciara,and a spotlessly clean restaurant, we are very lucky to have this restaurant in Dorking...well done.

First time at Cote Dorking, but I am pleased to say that the quality of service, food and value for money was up to the brand exceptional standards.

Excellent service, I returned my minute steak because it was a bit too rare and it was replaced without any fuss by a charming waitress.

The worst possible service I have ever had. Was not attentive on departure took 20 mins to get my bill we where sat at the table with nothing on the table so it was obvious we wanted our bill tried to attract attention of server got nothing in the end had to tell her off which came as some surprises to her. Not happy we have dined here many times this will be our last appalling attitude not apologetic at all and just argued with me. Restaurant to noisy

Overall meal and service was good. However; We had a voucher and showed this to the manager who said the voucher was only for Mon - Fri. The vouchers didn't say this anywhere. He then said we could use it. ( not part of it, just we could use it) When we came to pay apparently we couldn't use the voucher. We had booked this Cote becasue of the voucher. So clearly let down by a promotion that was poorly worded.

Always a great atmosphere, wonderful staff and the food is fabulous. This was an impromptu breakfast that was a lovely start to a Sunday.

Outstanding food and service Courteous staff and food of the highest quality. Highly recommended for excellent value and a great evening. Ambience is excellent also with appropriate lighting and a hearty welcome and farewell.

A lovely welcome, then offered the whole restaurant for seating - we had arrived early. Prompt, polite service followed by excellent food from the a la carte range. A successful evening.

Seven of us came to Cote yesterday evening to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We have had dinner in Cote probably four or five times and have also had lunch here. We decided to come to your restaurant on past experiences - and I now wish we had not chosen your restaurant in Dorking. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy when we arrived at 20:00. It took a while for the waitress to take our starter order - 2 x Olives and 3 x Bread Basket to eat with our starters. The starters did not come out at the same time and four of our party were waiting a good 5 minutes before the remaining starters were served up - so hot food cooled down significantly during the wait. After finishing our starters, we waited quite a while for the table to be cleared, and we waited ages to be served our main courses. With regard to my dish, the vegetables under the lamb were, at best, tepid with the lamb placed on top at a much higher temperature. My brother left most of his crepe - he didn't want to make a fuss at the time, neither did I because this was supposed to be an evening where we all enjoying ourselves. No-one wanted to spoil the evening but on leaving the restaurant, we all agreed it was sadly lacking, from the non-attentive service to the quality of the food. I know that the service charge is discretionary and I could have asked for it to be removed but £37.10 is a lot of money to pay out for this woeful dining 'experience'. Sadly, I won't be venturing to Cote in Dorking any time soon and I certainly won't be recommending to family and friends. For our next big celebratory meal we may very well try out one of the independents, Sorrel or Salt Pig. I really do feel I've been mugged being presented with a food bill for £335! Cote Dorking - you need to up your game.

Côte is always great. Lovely service. However, I would say that the French Breakfast was a bit disappointing. For the price they charge, they could easily have bottomless juice and coffee.

Wonderful food, beautiful setting, the perfect pretheatre destination in Dorking.. the set menu is the best in the field. Varied and great value- well worth it!

The service was slow but only because our server had too many tables to deal with. Food good.
