Côte Dorking

Lovely food, great ambience, had the early evening set menu and it was great value. Already quite a regular and look forward to my next visit.

Have visited this restaurant many times and have always found the service and quality of food very good. Prompt service and very attentive staff, any query promptly dealt with.

Friendly and good service. Food was good and hot when served our only criticism was that the fish pie was tasty but too small. Would happily return and recommend to friends.

Great menu, great food and service. I am Coeliac, so need a Gluten Free diet, and Cote have a full GF Menu! Lovely wines too.

We were celebrating our friends birthdays. The staff were very accommodating, attentive but not intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals in a relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Cote Brasserie to our friends. A very enjoyable occasion. Thank you.

We had a very nice breakfast. Tasty food and good service by friendly and helpful staff. The vegetarian breakfast is fresh and tasty. I'm not vegetarian but still really enjoy the breakfast.

Fantastic service and a good range of choices on the menu. We had steaks, lamb shank and sole and they were all excellent. It's a shame vegetables have to be ordered extra and that is not immediately apparent. There is also a great choice of wines which are very reasonably priced. We left feeling very full and disappointed that we had no room for dessert.

I love the Cote chain and Dorking is one of my favourite places to go. The food is always enjoyable and reasonably priced with attentive service.

The set menu at lunch is great value and provides a good choice of starters, mains and desserts. The waiters are very attentive and the restaurant setting very relaxing.

COTE Dorking was really superb today....the staff are very professional, the service is excellent, the food superb...we had the plaice and also the seabass..the restaurant is spotlessly clean, and well worth a visit. We have eaten at several COTE Brasseries, and Dorking is certainly the best one we have tried, consistently high standards, well run, and very motivated staff who operate as a quite exceptional team...try it for your self...you will not be disappointed..but probably best to book ahead and there is an opportunity to comment if you have any special requests, or allergies..

The staff are always very friendly and helpful in the Dorking Cote. As usual the food was of a good standard and plenty of choice. We went to the restaurant as we had received an offer for a complementary glass of Kia Royal to help celebrate a birthday, when the bill arrived we had been charged for the Kia Royal, but this was soon sorted out and the bill changed. We will be going again :0)

Fab. Quick service. Great food. Good Value. Welcomed warmly. Seated where we liked and chose. Offered all the different menus. Decided on the set menu.

Excellent food and service coupled with a great atmosphere meant that we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary - very agreeable!

Four of us had a very nice lunch here. Menu and food excellent. We all enjoyed it. Have been in here previously in the evening but preferred lunch time. It gets too dark, gloomy and depressing when the lights go down too low.

Green salad was old and brown and the replacement not much better. Roasted carrots - weren't. Seemed to be lightly boiled and then glazed. Everything else OK.

As usual, great service, great food and reasonably priced drinks. Cote never disappoints which is important when you are spending money on a night out.

An excellent meal as always. The Tomates Breton starter was delicious and has even been enhanced since last time with the addition of capers to add some piquancy. The rib eye steak was cooked perfectly. The creme brulee was delicious, with a perfectly crispy thin layer of sugar on top. The waiter helpfully advised against the choice of dessert wine with my friend's chocolate mousse, advising that port would be a much better option - and he was right. Service was genuinely friendly and attentive, as we have come to expect from here. We always have a lovely dining experience here, which is why we keep going back!

Overall experience excellent, I was happy about the service but my friend found it too slow, the restaurant was busy but I think meals are for savouring!

We had breakfast. Tasty Vegetarian breakfast and crepe with good quality coffee. The staff are always friendly and attentive. The service is efficient and prompt. I'd always recommend it.

Great food. An alternative was found for the fish option that had run out. Quiet but was Sunday evening, nice atmosphere. Always a good meal

Cotes is part of a chain but sets good standards generally. My only major complaint was that the lighting was so dim that it was difficult to read the menu without the aid of my wife's glasses. Other than that we had a very pleasant dinner with an ex-colleague and his wife. Two of us had deep-fried calamari which was the usual combination of crunchiness and slipperiness. The big surprise was the duck which looked enormous but was perfectly cooked and slipped down very well with dauphinoise potatoes and creamed spinach. I finished off with a delicious chocolate mousse

Great, friendly service as always and staff who make our young children feel really welcome. Quality of food is consistently good each time.
