Côte Dorking

Good food, good service and good price. Paid the extra for ribeye steak and we’ll worth it. Starters were big enough to share.

front of house was chaos and not what we expect from Cote. Our first and last visit to the Dorking restaurant, nothing at all wrong with the food but had to ask for the water and the drinks we had ordered, they didn't arrive until half way through the starter and one of the my pet hates anywhere, no loo roll in the toilet. Had asked for a quiet table as my husband is deaf but was given a noisy area.

Great value.lovely restaurant and the staff are always absolutely super,. On this occasions we had quests with pram! No problem, found us lovely quiet corner where we had super lunch and no inconvenience for other diners.

The service was good. However, the Gluten-free menu needs improvement. Seems slightly unfair that because I am gluten-free my breakfast cost a lot more than from the regular menu. My boyfriend and I came in and he had a full English breakfast with 4 slices of toast and butter along with coffee and juice was charged £10 while I had one slice of toast with no butter barely any scrambled eggs and some salmon and I was charged more and was left a lot hungrier.

It was a lovely occasion which I shared with friends and family.

As always a pleasure to eat at Dorking at your brasserie.

Brilliant service and amazing vegetarian menu...only downside was our table close to server hub so very noisy and made my PTSD a little worse...apart from that, schamazing and we will definitely come back.

Where can you match a lunch menu as well presented and cooked for £11.50? Amazing rillettes of lamb and then sea bream with an orange and fennel salad. My wife had the starter salad and the chicken and bacon parmentier which was delicious; she let me have a fork full! Oh, and we shared a really good creme caramel on top. A real taste of France in an environment that's as authentic as you could wish. In fact I think you'd be hard pressed to match the standard of cooking at that price in France not to mention show a clean pair of heels to the cost of a pizza in the UK.

Lovely relaxed brunch. Atmosphere very warm and intimate. Food was excellent (Eggs Benedict and full English breakfast) and staff attentive but not overbearing. Would definitely go again.

Family meal for 11 at Dorking. Plenty of choice and food was of a high quality. Staff were very attentive and friendly and able to accommodate specific changes due to dietary requirements. Have no hesitation in recommending and will visit again.

Dorking’s Cote Brasserie is a stylish restaurant centrally placed in this charming Surrey town. Early evening lunch menu suited us perfectly. Breton Chicken and Haddock Goujons superb.

We had a booking for 9.45, I had a phone call at 9.15 to say there was a problem at the dorking restaurant, they said they would ring us to say when we could arrive for breakfast which never happened. I managed to get us in to the Horsham Cote instead which was great, my 94 year old mother was delighted. I was not very happy that I never had any phone call or a sorry from Dorking when we went the following week

Lovely warm welcome from David and team...attentive service from Andreea & Cameron, superb starters, excellent mains all served on piping hot plates..good choice of wines and beers, finished off with delicious coffees. Excellent, well done and thank you team COTE @ Dorking. Definitely worth booking ahead, as it provided the opportunity to mention any allergies, or special occasions, which make for a very successful and enjoyable experience.

Nice atmosphere, food was very good and staff were friendly and efficient. May have taken off a star as my dessert order was wrong, but this was balanced by much appreciated complimentary birthday drinks given on arrival. Will return and recommend.
