Really lovely leisurely Saturday lunch with three good friends. Food was excellent and as usual there was a great atmosphere. Definitely a favourite place for me.

We booked online for our wedding anniversary and had a lovely lunch at the restaurant. The staff and food were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal thank you.

We had an excellent meal. Our starters and main courses, sea bass and pan fried hike was deliciously cooked and served piping hot. We had a complimentary bottle of red wine this time. The service was excellent. The waitresses were very attentive and helpful. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you

Excellent service and food choices. Very good value for money. A little manic and noisey but good atmosphere. Had many meals in Cote across the country and you can always guarantee that the quality will always be the same where ever you go.

Cote never fails to deliver - excellent food, excellent service. The pork belly is my personal favourite but the whole menu is hugely tempting. Lovely location. Thank you for another great meal!

Great location, great food, great value for money. I have been on a number of occasions and always have a good experience. I would definitely recommend Côte in Exeter.

Tuna nicoise was OK but should have been half the size and twice as thick to get it a proper medium rare. You have done it before really well but not this time.

Great food and service best place to eat in Exeter

We had the fish parmentier which we have had before but this time were disappointed. It was not as piping hot as usual and had too many prawns which were a little hard. If it had been our first visit to Cote, we wouldnt have come back but as this was the first time we were disappointed, we probably will return but wont have that dish again.

I love Cote Restaurant, I was there always happy and always love coming back. Very delicious steak tartare and absolutely lush Sea bass. Nothing better that finish the dinner with dark chocolate pot

Another amazing lunch 👍 at Cotê Exeter. We were greeted by several very friendly staff and the food was wonderful. Salmon rilette for starter and the most amazing seafood linguine for our main course. It was yummy 😋 👍 We’ll be back soon 🤗

Arranged for a quiet evening meal don't go upstairs if that's what you want its very noisy up there. We asked to move downstairs much better ambiance down there. Apart from that very good service, accommodated dairy free diet well, food good.

Lovely food but ordered a rare steak and it was medium at best. Couldn’t be bothered to return it etc. It was good but basic error for a twenty pound steak

Lovely spot in Cathedral Close, especially when seated by the window. Only criticism, the noise level was only just tolerable so conversation at times was difficult

Consistently good, an authentic Parisien feel with tasty food prepared and served by well-trained professional people who really seem to care about what they are doing.

Nice atmosphere and a good choice on the menu. Everything is reasonably priced. Attentive service. The size of the place does mean it can be quite noisy.

The atmosphere was good and the waiting staff lovely and made a special effort when they found out that someone on our table had a birthday. I think that more staff should be put on in busy periods as it took a while for our drinks order to be taken. Apart from that it was a lovely experience.

Outstanding as always. As it was a joint 70th birthday lunch that I mentioned when booking we would like to thank the Exeter staff for the birthday gifts and the sparkling wine that enlivened a lovely lunch. The food was excellent and well presented and the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

The waiter that served us was amazing. Can’t remember when I last had such a dedicated waiter. Food was delicious. Excellent quality, taste and presentation. Can it recommend this restaurant enough! Clean, friendly staff, excellent food and drinks! Highly recommend

We had breakfast at Exeter Cote overlooking the Cathedral Green on a beautiful morning, the service, food, atmosphere and value for money was as usual top notch.

We visit Exeter about once a month and frequently use other branches of Cote when visiting friends and family. I think we must have been spoiled over the years and have come to expect a consistently high level of service, unfortunately on this visit it was somewhat lacking. I'm not sure if it was staffing levels but my husband had to ask on three occasions to be attended too. However, on a brighter note the food was as expected and excellent.

Very easy to book online. Excellent table with superb view of the Cathedral. Attentive staff and prompt service. Superb food. Definitely the highlight of our weekend.

I enjoyed my main( steak) but my husband did not enjoy his bream. It was bland and could have done with sauce or flavouring of some sort.

Hello as a regular visitor to Cote in Exeter and Bath, I have to say that yesterdays visit to Exeter was not up to its usual standard. I visited on Fri 8th March and tried your Monkfish special which was superb. So I ordered the same thing yesterday but the monkfish was not as fresh and slightly overcooked, the bacon surrounding it was overcooked and salty. The mushroom sauce with it was very bland, but last time it was perfect. My partner had the lamb rump but both of our dishes were on the small side and he went away still hungry. for some reason at the start of our drinks, empty water jug and other glasses and our starter plates were never cleared from our table. It wasnt until we had started top eat our main meal that it was finally cleaned. Very unusually disappointing. thank you Gina

Very busy so a little lacking in good service. Two choices of meal unavailable. Offered a free cocktail as compensation which was nice. Overall good but service standards brought down rating.

Overall a lovely evening. A great meal, especially the Breton chicken. However we only gave five stars due to the chaotic start. We had booked a table for seven pm and had not expected to have to queue up for ten minutes to get a table. We mentioned that we had booked in advance and were told that all the people in the queue had also booked tables. However a group of people in front of us told the member of staff that they had not booked and were taken straight to a table! A very strange way of doing things! That said, the rest of the evening was lovely.

The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked, great choice of wine and very attentive and professional service from every member of the team - we will be back soon.

Excellent as always Breton fish stew is wonderful. Please please please could you open a cote brasserie in Taunton. Eating places in TauntonEnter on are rubbish.

This is an amazing restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful explaining dishes if needed or trying to accommodate any allergy. The food itself never fails to impress absolutely every dish is superb and I think I may have tried everything on the menu by now. The view and ambiance wonderful. The price, well you get what you pay for and I think it’s worth every penny.

Lovely choice of dishes and value for minty wines. alongside great service at Exeter Côte yet again for my birthday lunch this year. Will be returning soon

I thought the food was great, with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The steak was cooked perfectly, I definitely will be coming back in the near future.
