Lovely breakfast as usual! Service very good from efficient staff.

Excellent customer from start to finish . Waiting staff not intrusive and very helpful with menu recommendations. All staff very professional. Meals were hot and as stated on the menu . Could not fault anything. Highly recommend.

The food is always delicious and the staff are helpful and welcoming. Only criticism is some child portion size breakfasts should be available.

Lovely location , great food , fab staff and we loved the complimentary Rhubarb Martini Cocktail ! Always safe for coeliacs like myself to eat at Côte x Minor point .... white wine barely chilled . I work in hospitality myself and always aim to have chilled champagne or white wine .

We great a great early evening meal for my birthday. They put some thought into the pudding to make it special.

Food was great. I felt we were a bit squeezed in. And it was noisy.......but I still really enjoyed it. Will definitely go back. Steak wad great. Thanks

Two of us enjoyed a delicious lunch at Exeter Cote today (a delightfully sunny Sunday in March) and we are already looking forward to a return visit! We were lucky enough to be seated by the window downstairs with a wonderful view of the Cathedral. Our fish dishes (salmon grilled to perfection and accompanied by ratatouille and a fantastic tuna salad Nicoise, expertly seared and accompanied by a beautiful salad of Romaine lettuce, still soft boiled egg quarters, black olives, sliced red onion and green beans) were gorgeous and the generous slices of crisp, freshly baked French bread made the meal all the more delicious. The venue, ambiance, service and food could not have been better! Next time we'll explore the menu further!

Always one of my favorite places for lunch in Exeter. Set menu was good (had tomato soup & couscous with peppers & creme caramel) for friends birthday. Excellent service & good value.

Love Cote...Meal was great - v generous portions too! Buzzy atmosphere. Waiters v attentive, friendly and helpful. Only thing I object to with Cote is that they automatically add 12.5% service charge on to the bill. This is very unfair and unnecessary...I would like to decide how much to offer and how to pay it. I sometimes ask for the charge to be taken off and then pay cash to the waiter, but this is a faff and I shouldn't have to do it...

We loved this place! We thought the prices were quite reasonable and the food was delicious! We enjoyed the atmosphere and plan to return as soon as we can!

A lovely relaxed evening - service was excellent, if a little slow - but only one person serving the whole top floor. Food very good - had the salmon May special. And very much enjoyed the rhubarb martini! And it was much quieter than last time we were there so could talk without shouting.

A good lunch as always at Cote especially the quality of the food, presentation and service. Some good wines reasonably priced - have tried the Muscadet several times.

We come to Cote in Exeter two or three times a year, and always enjoy the food and ambiance. Last night good, but not the best. The muscles in my starter were very small, and the noise level went beyond the usual pleasant buzz to plain noisy. All the same we enjoyed the meal and will coming again.

It's our half-way house for meeting old friends from Cornwall (we're in Dorset) so we like to chat. Good service but not rushed in any way. Loved the new, slightly more up-market and expensive lunchtime menu. All in all, a very good lunch.

Food is so nice there but they can’t cope when it’s busy. I booked a table a week in advance but when I arrived it was as if I was just placed anywhere on a random table as the one I booked had obviously been given to someone else. There was just a bad atmosphere and I wanted to leave the time I was there.

Thoroughly enjoyed lunch with my daughter and grandson. Cote is everything that a good restaurant should be - food, service - brilliant! I live down in Cornwall and don't get to go to Exeter too often. This is our second time at Cote, but it certainly won't be the last.

Unfortunately we did not. The noise level in the restaurant was unbearable. The table next to us was so loud we had to raise our voices to be heard. The waitress very kindly moved us for the dessert course to a table downstairs but we were directly under the air conditioning and got very cold. We consequently rushed our meal. It should have been a pleasant evening to say thank you to a very dear friend, it was ruined and based on this experience I shall not be returning.

Very average. Everyone would've appreciated green veg with meals. Very lacking. We did like the attentive waitress service. We will not recommend or eturn to any cote brasserie anywhere for a speciall occasion. Very dull.

Waitress working hard despite being relatively new. Not enough staff on waiting side. Other people waiting a while to order. This made service including opening drinks very slow.

I enjoyed my meal tremendously but my friend, a non-meat eater, found the fish portion small and without potatoes, so she said she was still hungry when she left.

Superb surroundings, excellent service and delicious food - my husband loved his Father’s Day treat! If you haven’t tried Côte yet, book a table - good food is guaranteed.

Easy to book, friendly staff, great atmosphere, fantastic menu, attentive servers, superbly. Cooked! Great lunch choice definitely going again. The only issue, due to Cotes popularity, was that conversation was hard to hear above all the other diners!!!

We had a very good meal today topped off with a dessert featuring a birthday message for my husband. Our waitress was wonderful and we will certainly return very soon.

Outstanding as always. As it was a joint 70th birthday lunch that I mentioned when booking we would like to thank the Exeter staff for the birthday gifts and the sparkling wine that enlivened a lovely lunch. The food was excellent and well presented and the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Exceptional in every way. We were particularly impressed by the warm welcome given to all three of us and with the splendid service from our Argentinian waitresss. Well done

Visited at lunchtime. Good atmosphere and food. Very enjoyable. In the evenings when it is full I know the noise level can make it hard to talk.

Another very enjoyable meal. Had a window table this time which was great. Staff as usual were very friendly and we didn’t feel rushed. Very good value for money for what we had.

Food and staff were up to the usual high standard. The only problem was that the noise level was high and a little annoying. Perhaps management should consult an expert or would some soft furnishings help solve the recurring problem curtaining for example. OVERALL A GOOD NIGHT OUT. Regards George

Lovely food, exceptional service and a great ambiance as ever.

Service not attentive. Main Courses did not arrive together, had to wait 15 mins for 1 serving. 1 aperitif did not arrive at all. 1 mains overcooked and dry.

Lovely setting, views and service but a little slow and main meals didn’t arrive at the same time plus forgotten item. Offer of free dessert was a nice touch. Perhaps the restaurant overall was very busy, just quiet on our floor.

Sadly we were booked for an evening meal, but had to cancel because of our friends illness, so the two of us rebooked for lunch. As always, lovely food, great service and excellent value. The consistency of Cote is extraordinary. we have never been disappointed at any of the many Cote restaurants we have visited. Thank you.
