We had lamb rump and it was cooked to perfection. Gin aperitifs were a pleasant start to the meal and the wine was a really good accompaniment.

Delicious food as always, and the experience made even better by the complimentary French 75s! Steak frites is always a winner, as is the calamari. Very friendly service.

Excellent service, friendly waiter, good food. My husband and I had a lovely time at the Farnham cafe. One thing, when my daughter celebrated her birthday we all had a complimentary drink but not for our wedding anniversary, which I booked online.

Very professional staff, great waitress serving us. Only downside was the noise from a large group on table behind us. Food and drink were very good too.

All good apart from our complimentary cocktail which none of us liked called negroni.

Went to cotes in Farnham with family for my 50th Birthday. On arrival we were all given a complimentary glass of Kir Royale totally unexpected which was a lovely touch. The waiter was very accommodating, polite and cheery and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Went for lunch. 2 of us had the prawns gratinee which were superb. Another had the crab mayo which lacked flavour of crab. Rib eye steak cooked to perfection. Veal t.bones, one was very thick and unfortunately virtually raw inside. The other veal t.bone was nicely cooked and tasty. We weren't asked how we would like them. I didn't want to send mine back because I had eaten half and my husband and son were almost finished ! The veal t.bones did however have a nice flavour and its an unusual cut of meat to get in England. Would have it again, just a bit more cooked !

Consistently good food, competitively priced. Service is always excellent. The gin and tonic cocktail was delicious! Although the restaurant was really busy we were not kept waiting at all.

Excellent food, good service. Fabulous location. Above all outstanding value for money. An ideal place for alfresco dining in warm weather, given that the restaurant is well situated in a charming pedestrian precinct away from traffic pollution and noise.

I come to Cote Farnham a lot with my partner for romantic dinners, Mother’s day brunches and lunch with friends. Today was a belated mother’s day brunch- for the first time we encountered a minor snag which was promptly dealt with and the manager excelled himself with exceptional generosity when I asked for the bill which he insisted on paying! I love Cote and will continue to highly recommend.

We had a lovely meal and very good service. We loved our table by the open windows. The only thing that marred the occasion was that the background music was far too loud. We couldn't hear ourselves talk. However on telling our waitress, she lowered the sound immediately and we enjoyed the rest of our time immensely.

The food as ever was excellent, but our visit was made special by the superb service. My wife used to work as a Mystery Shopper and her words were 'They'd have earned 10 out of 10 today', and that doesn't happen very often.

We had not visited any Cote restaurants before and were keen to try something new on a rare Bank Holiday we have off together as my partner works shifts. We did our research on choosing somewhere lovely and living near Fleet, there’s plenty of restaurants to choose and we decided on Cote Farnham. Sad to say we were really disappointed. Scallops for my partner’s starter were cold, I had the flat bread with caramelised onion and cheese, which was tasteless. Held high hopes for mains only to receive what was supposed to ribeye but no sign of an ‘eye’ and tasted burnt and was tough as old boots. We told the Manager who took it to the chef and came back said, the chef tried it and agrees it’s burnt and maybe the grill was too high. My mussels were ok, smallest mussels I’ve ever had I think but the sauce was nice. The best thing about it all was the frites and the complimentary bottle of wine for first time bookers. The scallops and steak were taken off the bill without us asking and we think that was absolutely the right thing to do. We did pay the 12.5% service charge as the waiting staff were great. If I had a choice I’d have paid for the frites and that would have been it! Very noisy in the restaurant, just because of low ceiling I think. The table we sat at was a Russian roulette with staff coming in and out of the kitchen with massive trades each time very close to my partner’s head where he felt the need to duck, suggest don’t have a table there.

I ordered a medium rare steak. When I cut into it I could see it was on the rare side of medium rare. As I progressed it became quite rare. Having eaten 2 thirds of it I decided not to send it back but when the waiter came to take the plate away I pointed to the remaining third and said it was rare rather than medium rare to which he replied rather pointedly 'Oh, it wasn't cooked enough for you'. The implication was that there was nothing wrong with the steak, it just happened not to be to my liking. A more appropriate response would have been to acknowledge that it was undercooked and that he would notify the chef accordingly. I would have been quite happy with that. The meals for my 3 companions were satisfactory. Long wait between main course and dessert - probably at least half an hour - the restaurant was busy. Quite noisy.

We enjoyed a very pleasant evening at Cote Farnham. The food was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented piping hot. The waiter was lovely so pleasant and friendly. There was a slight mix up with our order but it was rectified immediately and in no way impinged on our experience. Thank you Cote.

Favourite restaurant in Farnham, however this evening was refused a central table with a better view than table offered at 9.00 pm despite two better tables reaming free for the entire evening and pre-booking in advance. Also more than one error of over £14 on the final bill. Staff very pleasant and courteous and quick to correct the error. Despite this will return and attempt to be a little more persistent on preferred table. Ideal location for a warm summer evening on the outside atmospheric terrace.

We booked a 50th birthday celebration at the restaurant for 28 people. We found the booking process simple and were able to secure the whole of the upstairs. The staff were very helpful both before the booking and when we all arrived. We did not feel hurried at all and the whole event was excellent. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed the visit greatly. Thank you Cote Farnham for a wonderful experience and make it everything run smoothly. Highly recommended.

Great setting very relaxed atmosphere, all of the staff are friendly & helpful. Great menu choices, food really tasty.

The food was excellent, each of us enjoyed what we ordered. The staff were really friendly and courteous and although it was a little slow because of it being Mother's Day, it didn't spoil our experience.

Poached eggs were over cooked and hard Added 12.5% service charge is sneaky, should be suggested not actually added to the bill! Also generally 10% so high

I have to start with the positive, the food was out of this world and can not fault that, Sadly now the negative, It took such a long time to get served a drink, when the waitress turned up totally ignored one of the party, then took even longer to come back and take the rest of the drinks, the food order also took a very long time, no waiter or waitress seemed interested, we spent over £200 and I can safely say that because of the poor service, we will not be returning and is a shame because like I said that the food was outstanding
