From the minute you arrive the experience is very warm and friendly. The food was great and the service was great. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Lovely food, great service. If I wanted to offer some constructive criticism, dim the lights and put on some background music - just lacked a bit of ambiance

Second visit to Cote Gloucester - both fantastic meals - one lunch with family (incl. 3 kids), one with hubby - not cheap but outstanding quality and service so worth every penny - definitely recommended

Wasn't quite as good as previous trips to cote - food not service. I also think their vegetarian menu is both bizarre and lazy - please improve cote !

Lovely restaurant. Good ambiance, efficient service with friendly polite staff. All of us enjoyed our 3 courses, absolutely no complaints, would definitely recommend to others and will be visiting again ourselves

Very lively atmosphere and noisy. Starters were excellent and good value. Seabass was very good but the fennel was undercooked. Fillet steak was tough and poor quality and expensive for what it was Drinks are expensive.

Fantastic restaurant. Always high quality food and drink! Atmosphere just perfect! Waiters and waitresses excellent not too intrusive when eating but always there when needed!! Highly recommended for quality meal.

Lovely food, really nice staff. One steak was over done (rare was requested, we got medium rare). The pate and carrots in particular were really nice.

Very good and varied menu. Staff very professional and courteous. Good value for money. Enjoyed the Autumn complimentary bottle of wine. Will visit again soon.

I’ve never been to this restaurant before so took the whole family out to try something new. We had a fabulous evening, the food was amazing and the staff where very friendly and helpful. The kids have discovered smoked salmon now! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I’m hoping to return soon .

Good food at reasonable prices. Nice variety of dishes. Lovely dessert menu. My husband really enjoyed the black pudding with poached egg as a starter! Pleasant and courteous staff. Would recommend, will definitely return.

Excellent food. Turn around from order to food was very good. Staff polite and friendly. Reasonable price and portion. Would recommend if anyone in the area. The only negative thing was it was not made clear what actually came with the dishes. Ie my son had sea bass and it just came out with a bit of watercress, nothing else.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday Lunch at Cote Brasserie, Gloucester Docks. The table was as requested, we received very attentive service - nothing was too much trouble - the cuisine was, as always, perfectly prepared and presented - and we had the added bonus of a free bottle of delicious Merlot. If you have not done so already, enrol for Cote Rewards and become a regular customer !

Everything was excellent from food to service however the only thing that I thought world be better was having biscuits with the cheeseboard as bread to heavy after a meal and a little relish with it would also be nice as otherwise it was just bread and cheese ( a little boring as a desert )

The service was excellent, there was a happy atmosphere. The food was lovely, my only criticism is that the main course was served on a cold plate so was only warm not hot. But the flavour was lovely. Thought the 12.5% gratuity was cheeky, we normally tip with cash but had none so we took it on the chin. Thought the food a bit over priced, quite a hefty bill but we did really enjoy it

Great evening, out waiter Antonio was fantastic The only reason I haven’t given a 6 rating is due to the portion size, for the amount oor party of 4 paid we were a little disappointed with the amount of food . We can’t fault the service or the quality of food

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and lively, and the staff were delightfully friendly. The food was great. The only reason I can't rate it 6 is because, despite the evening menu, there was no roast duck available that night and one of was eagerly looking forward to trying it.

Good service, food and atmos. Extremely stingey frites portion size with moules, bread to accompany would have been nice. Still hungry after a main and dessert!

Great value early bird 3 course menu with very good service. Really enjoyable evening. Nice clean toilets Tables were a bit close together -at the rear of the restaurant.

Good food, lovely staff, tables rather too close together for private conversations. One main meal was not hot enough but the Manager did not charge me, so that was fine, I should have mentioned it before I ate most of it. I reckon this the best restaurant in Glos Docks and there are plenty to choose from. Plates are cleared too quickly for a relaxed evening out. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience. Will visit again.

Beautiful food and good service, but was not impressed with the 12.5% service charge, and we felt to embarrassed to ask for it to be taken off. It is not that we didn't want to pay a gratuity it was the fact the choice was taken away, but again, we cannot fault the service and the food was lovely.

Very busy on Saturday night but good service and food . Olives were a bit dry but rest of meal was usual Cote high standard

Wonderful service, excellent food at this price point and an atmosphere at the right mix of busy, yet private. Both Dinner and Breakfast visits have been faultless.

Corn fed Chicken is very tasty and good value and the last landed French wine smooth easy drinking and great accompanying drink. Good service nice atmosphere great addition to Gloucester docks

Booking was very easy online. We arrived with 2 wheelchairs, which needed to be stowed somewhere and no one got into a flap finding a suitable place. Very attentive waiters and waitresses, food was deliscious and service was excellent

All members of the team we encountered gave excellent service. One of the waitresses went above and beyond by helping us with the high chair and making it more comfortable for our little girl. The food was lovely, and what made the experience was the great team and a sincere feeling they cared, which is quite rare in this day and age.
