Superb service - friendly and not intrusive, and the food was delicious - couldn't fault it 😀Love this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone

Excellent staff, lovely atmosphere & delicious food. We just wanted a quick, good value meal after work & Cote provides a very relaxing, yet professionally done setting in a nice restaurant.

Wonderful food served by a very attentive, polite & helpful staff in very clean & pleasent surroundings , hugely enjoyed the meal and would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. A 5* experience.

Had a lovely meal - hubby's birthday - good service. Odd flavour with the spinach but took the price of all the sides off the bill. Everything else was scrummy. Would recommend

Great food & service. Our 9 and 12 year olds loved it too. Would be good though if children's menu was suitable for older than 10 years old.

Modern interior (that is repeated by lots of chains these days, it seems), where the service staff are smiling and efficient without hovering - a good balance. The early bird menu is really good value for money - coq au vin was tasty and the chicken was really tender. A thoroughly nice evening.

An excellent meal....best of all the gluten free menu was superb, the best I have ever had and the attention was excellent. All in all a really good experience. Well done to the waitress and managers as!

Always good food and service, I won’t eat anywhere else in Gloucester or cheltenham, lovely atmosphere and ambiance, the staff now know my preference and always very attentive

Average kit food nothing special could probably cook better at home but enjoyed overall experience. Service was good won’t be rushing back. Honest review given

Very nice, although disappointed they had run out of Duck. Staff very accommodating and ambiance very pleasant. Food was very good, well cooked and presented. Pricing at the upper end.

We had excellent food and our evening was made more enjoyable by the staff. It is a joy to be greeted with a smile, too often this is missing. Well done all the staff at Cote Gloucester.

Service was terrible. Waited for fifteen minutes just to for drinks orders to be taken. The lack of service was acknowledged by the restaurant but the 'optional' gratuity was still added! It's a shame as the food itself was good but would hesitate to go back due to length of time it took for orders/food.

Another fine breakfast at cote Gloucester. Service was great and the food delicious, although toast was slightly codl and it could do with another sausage

We had a table for four in one of the side booths. The ambience, food and attentive waitress were all excellent and we all had a very enjoyable meal

Excellent service and food as always. Staff very accommodating and knowledgable about the menu. It did get very noisy as it was Saturday night - we were friends adding to this noise but it did make me think a romantic dinner would be tricky though.

Wonderful food, fantastic hospitality and attention. We were celebrating my son's 21st birthday and he was even given a card which had been signed y all the staff. Thank you for first class evening.

Excellent food. Friendly and knowledgeable waiters. This is the second Cote restaurant we have eaten in and both have been equally good. Would highly recommend.

We had a very nice meal and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. The service was a bit slow but it was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was busy. Our waitress seemed to be looking after too many tables but was doing her best.

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and cheerful. There was not a long wait for food from when ordered; well presented. Not obvious where the restrooms were as not signposted until you have gone up the stairs! But a very smart looking restaurant.

The food was good, although the service was very slow. The staff were lovely and gave my mum a birthday card! Overall a good experience.

Such lovely staff - friendly and a truly warm welcome. Maitre d' greeted us and showed to the table - returned several times during the meal to check that everything was satisfactory.

We enjoyed our visit-the service was very attentive and the food was good. However we would appreciate a greater range of gins. Bombay Sapphire just doesn't make the grade. We would have enjoyed a further drink there had there been more choice!

Excellent service and quality good food.Objected to discretionary 12.5% service charge added to bill. Advised it was unable to be removed and asked to speak to manager. Waitress returned with the service charge removed. Were happy to tip for good service and we left more than 12.5% but it should be at the customers discretion.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating as we arrived earlier then our booked time. We were allowed to pick where we wanted to sit which was nice. Food was very good as always and service was impeccable.

We had a lovely meal in very nice suroundings, service was good and very polite, not too intrusive. Did not hassle us to leave even when we were the last ones left

Delightful & welcoming staff. Our first visit to the Quays Cote. Starter a little disappointing after having your pate served with onion marmalade, which we preferred rather than served with salami & gherkins. Overall a very pleasant atmosphere.

Booked online very easy to go to the nice new restaurant in Gloucester Quays, staff attentive, food was excellent, we had there 10 year anniversary menu that night, with free glass of champagne.

Lovely food, clean and upmarket and staff very friendly and helpful. The set menu is very good value. Highly recommended. Our second visit and would go again.

We visited first time in Gloucester for a joint Birthday celebration. Had previously eaten at the Cirencester Cotes and great to now have one local to us. Convenient parking in the nearby multi-storey. Excellent food and friendly staff. Will be visiting again soon!

Good food nice atmosphere. The duck confit was great, so was the tuna carpaccio Both from the specials menu. Would definitely go there another time.

Its was a lovely sunny day and everyone was in Cote in Gloucester - well not everyone. Very busy and not too many staff on duty, (some were very new - 2 days on nice young man told us) we did have to wait slightly longer than normal, but there were others who waited rather longer than we did. Despite the wait the food was excellent as usual, the starters were really nice, but I would like to see the portion size of the "belly pork increased" it was rather small, the deserts also very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a delightful waitress to take of our table and she was very busy but kept her smile at all times.

Great service, went for the 3 course set menu with glass of champagne, calamari followed by belly pork & chocolate fondant absolutely delicious would certainly return

Lovely food and great service. Moules were delicious as was the ice-cream with hot chocolate sauce. Reasonably priced. 12% service charge added automatically which I think is cheeky. On this occasion I would have tipped around that anyway but I prefer to decide based on service received. I hope the waiting staff receive the tips when it is done this way (I prefer to tip in cash for that reason)

Great to have a little bit of France in Gloucester. Good food, friendly staff. Lovely way to celebrate Bastille Day! Third visit already and will be back.
