Superb main course, delicious pud, but not a real pavlova as stated on your menu!

Delicious three course price fixe menu. Whitebait, rib eye steak & seabass, almond & plum tart & berry fruit pavlova. A few minor hiccups but all delivered by friendly staff. Thank you

We had a lovely lunch. I had to ask for the fixed price menu which was not offered at the start. The waitress from Brazil was extremely polite and helpful. It is a pity that the fixed price menu does not change monthly as it used to. But then the chain has new owners and they have a different policy. Post Brexit and Covid everything is more expensive, particularly the wine. We both had the Toulouse sausage and lentil dish and the tarte aux mirabelles was superb.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and as usual the food was excellent. What made it outstanding was the service especially by the young lady who served us. She was so friendly and helpful and couldn't have done more for us. Definitely will return if in the area again.

Our server was excellent. So friendly and attentive. Lovely meal.

A lovely lunchtime meal, staff are always friendly and helpful, even had an activity pack for our toddler and got him special knives and forks

The staff are really what takes the restaurant to a very high level, they are very professional, always have a smile, enjoy a joke and make sure you enjoy your visit.

Good atmosphere & good choice on fixed prices menu. Whitebait & sea bass; pate & steak frites. All good apart from steak frites which was tough but quickly replaced with a good steak. Thank you Cote! We’ll be back soon!

The food was great, served hot and promptly served. The manager in the navy & white dress was good, & the other lady who came over was also. However, the tall young gentleman who served us for the majority of the time came over as quite cold unless he was new and nervous. When it came to after clearing our main plates he walked towards the table holding the desert menu in our direction vertically, and I said yes we will take a look, instead of approaching the table holding them horizontal & asking if anyone would care for desert, coffee or apperitives? Also it is quite obvious that the staff are trained to proactively sell extras, which can be irritating. We have visited Cotes Godalming many times as it is close to where we live and it won't put us off to visit again.

Restaurant was very noisy due to some “Hen Parties “ Nobody’s fault as husbands were watching the Football!!

Matt was a superb waiter. The prestige menu lovely and the food was served hot and with a smile behind Matt’s mask. Good social distancing and very hygienic.

As always excellent service and food. Been a customer since first opened in Godalming. We certainly miss Cote when closed during these difficult times. Staff attentive but not over attentive and always welcomed with a smile. All staff very professional.

Excellent meal and service. Very hygiene as we saw the tables being sprayed after people left. It was as close to normal as you can get in these trying times.

Went on a Sunday and the menu was very narrow.

Great spot for a pre-panto Champagne Breakfast. Food and service excellent. My waitress was Jennifer who is a real star in the Côte team - not only at Godalming but Guildford and Farnham also.

Have been to many Cote restaurants in different places. This time and the only time two of us had to send back the fritz s as they were were almost cold. They were replaced quickly with hot ones. On paying the bill we were not charge for the small glass of wine we two had had. Very grateful for that. As I have said this was the only time we have had a complaint.

Had a lovely anniversary lunch just before the tier system switched again. Staff were great and the food was exceptional. Great price for three courses and the wine was perfect. Lots of space between tables and plenty of hand sanitiser available. Hope to visit again soon once the restrictions are lifted and this virus is long gone.

The people in the kitchen gave me a better steak this time, all very nice, the details make the difference thanks 🙂

Nice way to start Xmas, good service. Just need to make it clear champagne breakfast can only be served from 10am.

Delicious food for all the family from 8yrs to 72yrs and with one lactose intolerant the staff were really helpful saying it was no trouble to check with the kitchen. Our 8yr old fancied having her Lamb Rump cooked a little more and where I was tempted to say you'll eat what your given, the staff were very happy to take it back for extra sizzling. Everything was as yummy as always staff super helpful and bright making our visit the perfect end to a very happy day out. Hope you are all able to keep open and stay healthy. HAPPY CHRISTMAS
