Delicious food and efficient service.we have eaten at several different cote restaurants and will certainly be returning to Godalming in the near future with our family.

I have been to cote several times but this was my first time to the Godalming branch. The staff were very helpful and the food and atmosphere was great. Service was rushed though at times - felt like they wanted us out for the next sitting!

As always, great. Thanks Godalming team! Took some friends and they were full of praise. Just a great experience. Will certainly be back when we can.

Lovely food, but the service was a bit slow and delivery of the drinks in particular was haphazard at best. Will still return though as it is very good value.

Very good food, service was good throughout. Only negative is the 12.5% service charge on bill (optional) but most people would prefer to choose how much to tip

Very good lunch with exemplary service, despite a very busy Mother's Day.my mother, in a wheelchair was looked after beautifully. Couldn't have been better. A very happy day and delicious food.

Very poor experience this time. Service was slow, had to remind staff of my drink order multiple times. Ordered a medium rare steak and got medium well done. Meat was not great quality either. Staff was not "on it" chatting at the bar area and not attending to diners.

Went there for lunch with a friend, was there 1 1/2 hours with relaxed service - just what was needed. two course lunch for £10.95 is a good deal

Great food and very good staff. Very lively atmosphere too, so overall a very good night out. Will definitely be back again there again soon.

It was very quick service and the food was delicious. Great place and atmosphere for a catch up with an old friend. Would highly recommend!

Great breakfast and very good service .we have been having the breakfast menu for a few weeks now and we can`t fault anything yet . we are booked in for lunch next week

Very slow and poor service. Everytime we ordered drinks we had to remind the staff about them. Food was bland and one of our party had pork belly. The vegetables came out stone cold as did the pork. I've never seen pork belly that looks like rubber. The plate was taken away and microwaved and came back scolding hot. To top it off they have the nerve to add almost £40 for service.

Busy but enough staff to still be attentive, Glad we pre booked our table, we all enjoyed our food(6) and it was all nice and hot.

Brilliant service, fabulous Gluten free menu and child friendly :) Catered for all the family needs and the setting of the restaurant is beautiful. Highly recommended.

Excellent Restaurant in great Location. Good service although the staff were not familiar whether the 2 course special before 6 ( on Sat) was available or not. The staff should have a brief so everyone is singing off the same song sheet. The table beside us was told the 2 course was only available until 6 but it was only 17.55 while we were told there was no 2 course special last Sat. Consistency is the key

I arrived in a wheelchair. The staff were immediately attentive to get me seated comfortably at the table. We enjoyed a lovely 3 course dinner with prosecco and our introductory free bottle of wine for our anniversary. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We shall certainly return to Cote Godalming.

Took my mum here for lunch, we both had steak frites and a dessert off of the lunch time menu, was lovely and good value

Food was ok.Steak Tartare and the Crab Mayonnaise were excellent,Ribeye steak was average and quite dry even though it was cooked rare. Waiter service was very good.

Pleasant experience, good service and tasty food, however, the quality of the meat (poulet grillé) was not up to the price, especially considering it made up most of the dish and came without veg.

It was a wonderful day and we have a great meal ,food was delicious and good services. We enjoyed it very much with many thanks for your rewards of a bottle of wine. We will have meal at Cote again in the near future .

Food and service good as usual. Although our waitress had apparently had a long day, she was pleasant. I am sure we will be back again soon!

Meal was good as we had just come back form holiday we were there at a strange time so not much atmosphere but have been thee before and it was fine

Came slong with a friend. Good to have fresh coffee and fruit juice on offer. Likes the option of a French breakfast including boudin noir, but this time went for full English. Having the Guardian and the Times available to dip into while waiting was nice. Staff were attentive but not obtrusive. Looking forward to coming again.

Went with 4 friends had a great time - good atmosphere, good food and wine was ok (could of chosen better!). Service a little slow to begin with (they were full) but lovely waitress apologised and then all was good. Would definitely go back.

Smart attractive restaurant. Fresh white linen napkins. Very pleasant lunch. Staff very welcoming and pleasant. Service with style. Very authentically tasty fish soup with fresh crunchy bread. Duck confit done to a turn - delicious. A very successful first visit to Godalming Cote.

For me personally they never serve the food hot enough if we hadn't been in a hurry I would have said something, Godalming restaurant lacks something.

Staff were excellent and very well informed about the menu, great customer service and perfectly cooked food. Would highly recommend and will be back again.

Cote is always a great place to eat, the food is of a consistently high standard for a chain and really never lets you down! My only comment as far as our last meal is concerned, was that the service was quite slow, which may be understandable given that it was a Sunday evening. Apart from that, everything was good.

The food was lovely and the service was great! The interior is very nicely done. I wish they had prosecco on the drinks list though.

Great service & fantastic food. The steak frite is delicious and the quality of the meal is in my opinion worth more than is charged. Be back soon.

Food was amazing. Waitress was clearly in hurry, often cut us off mid sentence whilst speaking and hence mistakes were made in food items being brought to the table. Very difficult to create rapport with her.

An excellent meal, particularly the Breton fish stew, and very friendly service. The Picpoul was nice but a bit expensive so we tried the Muscadet to revive happy memories of Brittany and were not disappointed.

Always a happy experience at Cote Bistro. Last night's visit was no exception. Welcoming, attentive staff. Great menu choices and very good value. Cote Godalming has become so popular it's a good idea to book.

We had a good time and enjoyed our meal, however the service became slow after our mains and we had to ask for the dessert menu, (I think our waitress had finished her shift and different staff had taken over)

I have eaten in many Cote restaurants over the years and enjoyed them. Maybe Godalming is much bigger, or needs more staff on a busy night, but each time someone's food arrives after everyone else's or one dish is not as hot as it should be, which is a shame.

Great environment at the old Doctors practice, atmosphere relaxed, food was fresh and hot and service paced just right. Will return another time to try something else off the menu

Great food unless they forget some of the ingredients! & usually great service too . Nicest to sit in the front area if you can get a table.

Great atmosphere and food. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you want somewhere that'she not too expensive, but serves great food!

As always a really good meal, fresh ingredients and well presented. Initial ordering service was a little slow but picked up and not made to feel rushed in any way.

The Brasserie menu was clear and interesting, and the food both delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant is nicely designed, and while quite large, it is divided into attractive and intimate spaces. Finally, the waiting staff was absolutely excellent - both charming and efficient.

Went here for breakfast with friends. Fabulous food and lovely friendly service. Location is great and interior design very chic. Lovely coffee and fresh juice xx
