Côte Godalming

The service was very good with pleasant waiters who remembered who ordered what. The food was excellent and served hot. The evening went well in pleasant surroundings.

Fantastic food, especially considering the price. Staff were attentive but not overbearing, and the building was well decorated. Highly recommended for a well cooked meal at a fair price.

Pleasant quick efficient, attentive service. Hot food on hot plates and quality of food guaranteed which ever Cote you visit. Will definitely be making a return visit

Attractive old building with beams etc, food very good and well presented, staff helpful. Tables a little close together when crowded as at Sunday lunch time.

We had a very warm welcome from your friendly members of staff followed by a delicious meal and a lovely bottle of red wine. A great way to end the weekend, thank you.

very nice meal served promptly to our table of four, very helpful & friendly staff served us a surprise welcome glass of sparkling rose wine for my friends birthday treat, we will certainly go back soon

We really enjoyed our family celebration meal at Cote, Godalming. Great service and fabulous food in a lovely atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Consistently good and staff are excellent. They dealt with our large table very well and sorted out a couple of food and payment issues very quickly and efficiently. We'll be back!

Friendly and prompt service, as well as a nice atmosphere. Ideal for a breakfast business meeting. I would definitely recommend Cote Godalming and return for another visit/business meeting.

Friendly helpful staff. Good hot food and plates. Relaxed atmosphere. Can't ask for more. Restaurant not very busy. We hope this is not a regular occurrence as this is our nearest branch of Cote.

We are fans of Cote and the latest venue in Godalming does not disappoint. Classic menu (try the new black pudding starter) in a great ambience, excellent service and perfect timing, lovely evening and good value. Will be returning soon. Andrew Hindley

Very nice meal, good service, pleasant waitress. Sat outside under electric heaters. Best starter probably scallops. Fillet steak excellent and reasonably valued red wine .

I've eaten at Cote Guildford a number of times but this was my first meal at Cote Godalming. We found very good food which was good value for money; excellent service from courteous and friendly, but not over-friendly, staff. We enjoyed our visit and hope to come again soon. Keep the standard up!

Tasty food served in a friendly way and at a good price. Lovely evening all round! Very happy with the regular menu but the April specials were great additions, particularly loved the scallops and sea bass.

Really disappointed. Food was basic, service wasn't good at all. I left feeling that this restaurant was trying to come across as 'posh'. I won't be going back.

Lovely food excellent service and great atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Very reasonably priced but has the feel of a much more expensive restaurant without being pretentious.

Excellent food and great staff - quite noisy but they kindly moved us to a quieter spot without a fuss. Would recommend Cote in Godalming.

Tonight we have had the most enjoyable meal with two of our friends at Cote Brasserie. Really looking forward to doing it all again in the near future

Well presented, tasty food, which was delivered with quick, attentive service. This was rounded off with a complimentary birthday drink of a kir royal. Perfect!

Great service & delicious food, complimentary bottle of red wine and tailored my sea bass as I fancied something different on the menu! Very accommodating.

Service good. My food not so but was deducted from bill. Very noisy, at times we had to shout to be heard across the table at times. Had better evenings at Cote.

The service was very good and we were looked after very well. Unfortunately my veal was far too thick as I like it very thin.

Firstly we asked to move tables as we were seated at a table directly beneath an aggressive air con unit, and it was in an open area that was very noisy. The replacement table was a much better temperature but still rather noisy - why don't restaurants have more sound deadening soft furnishings? The food was good with one disappointment a side of peas that appeared to have a very large lettuce stalk in it. When we mentioned this it was offered to be removed from the bill, but then wasn't until we pointed it out.

Great food with really good choices which change monthly. The atmosphere is always buzzing in Godalming The prices are reasonable and the service is very good.

Service was attentive but not pressurised. Mostly the food was very good but the profiteroles were hard and there was limited choice of beers to cater for all tastes.

First time at Godalming Cote and was not disappointed. Good service in a nice atmosphere. Waitresses were polite and well dressed. Food was good for all at our table.

Enjoyed the meal/occasion with good friends. Uncomfortable with the discretionary (though automatically added) 12.5% service charge - I realize that this is standard across Cote restaurants. To challenge it infers dissatisfaction with the service received. While I was satisfied with the service, my norm is to add a maximum of 10% for (good) service and feel 12.5% is too high, especially in the way it is presented. Also there were bones in the (assumed) fillets of fish ordered by 3 of my party.

Great venue, meal & service. Extensive choice of food. One small issue of warm wine was quickly rectified. Would highly recommend. Hope to return soon.

Very enjoyable evening with friendly service. My son enjoyed his usual cacuterie board followed by steak and Frits. Scallops and sea bass on the evening specials delicious. Sadly unable to manage dessert.

Cote in Godalming is a pleasing experience. Lunch menu is just perfect ,staff is very attentive.food eccent as expected ,it could not be faulted except children's sausage and mash the potatoes could have been more moist,otherwise an excellent lunch

Excellent breakfast, had the "formula" which very good value for money. Good service and generous portions. Thoroughly enjoyable. Have had dinner before here and also very good.

I've had dinner here several times and everything has been perfect. But breakfast felt like disorganised chaos and we had to keep asking over and over for things. For example we ordered 4 hot drinks and an apple juice and some water. The cold drinks arrived 10 minutes after the hot drinks after we asked again. On a positive note we had 2 young children with us and the staff were brilliant at creating child size portions at our request. And i'd asked for a different breakfast because I can't eat eggs. So I replaced the eggs and mushrooms in the full english with the avocado and spinach from the veggie breakfast. Unfortunately, I didn't get a tomato (not sure why). The food was delicious. Oh and we had toast arrive with the breakfast, but we had to ask for butter, which arrived once the toast was cold - could this come as standard in future, maybe? The food tasted good, but i'd love the breakfast service to be as efficient as the dinner service in future.

Good food and excellent sevice A very nice evening was had by both of us and the atmosphere was pleasant. We liked the April specials especially the scollops
