Côte Highgate

We enjoyed good food and service but a little lacking in atmosphere, perhaps because it was half-term and the restaurant is quite large, though it did have the advantage of low noise levels.

Fantastic steaks! Never disappoints. Service very good. We always enjoy gong to Cote, the Highgate restaurant is very friendly and the staff are always chatty And helpful.

Very poor to non existent service. Food all right but menu hardly ever changes so you don’t want to go very often. Shame really as Highgate needs better places to eat.

the staff were really friendly. The food was fantastic. The place was brillant. Definly recommend going there. You get free wine if you sign up with Cote rewards .

Always enjoy coming here but first time for breakfast which was the wife’s birthday request. It was buzzy with young families but made a pleasant atmosphere. Champagne on arrival was a top treat. Can’t wait to return for such an affordable treat.

Am a regular patron to the Côte in Highgate, always good well cooked food, good value and equally good service. My only criticism is that it might be time to change the main menu, has been the same for years.

Very nice restaurant, spacious with tables well laid out. Staff were attentive & friendly. Great idea to have a different special menu each month to the set menu with some recipes also changing from different seasons in the year. I had the sirloin steak with peas, my wife had sea bass in champagne sauce all nicely cooked & tasted delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a very pleasant lunch or dinner.

One of our meals was cold. It was sent back and replacement given. Another meal was tepid but we ate it. Other than that the food was very good.

For a delightful culinary experience in a relaxed atmosphere I can well recommend Côte Highgate. The chef certainly knows how to cook lamb rump; an order for one rare and one medium-rare resulted in two dishes that were spot-on. The 2016 Chemin de Marquiere (smooth plum, blackberry and herbal spice) made an ideal partner.

The food at Cote is always very consistent in style ... we've eaten in the Highgate branch four or five times and it's quieter than most which makes getting a table easier. We've had issues a couple of times (my partner's American so doesn't cringe about complaining) ... last time the steak frites was very lukewarm but the manager replaced it with a fresh (not the same microwaved!) one, piping hot, and profuse apologies, so they redeemed themselves. Highgate doesn't have a vast array of places to eat (mostly posh pub and pizza) so I'm very glad to have a Cote on the doorstep.

The staff are always very friendly here and the food is good and reasonably priced. It’s more spacious than some of the other branches which is nice too.

Cote restaurants always deliver an excellent level of service and food of a good standard. Highgate cote has, in my opinion been the best and my favourite restaurant.

Quality of food was excellent and we were given a free bottle of very good wine. Atmosphere was good - no piped music. An enjoyable evening.

Good food. very good service. My friends and I enjoyed our meal and will probably visit again in the not too distant future for another very tasty meal.

They charged for the wine even though it was complimentary as part of their autumn offer. They did take it off the bill when I pointed it out. The food was excellent

The Highgate staff are wonderful so the service is always superb. Normally the food is very good but tonight I had to send my tough, chewy lamb back. Very disappointing. And first time I have ever sent food back. My husband’s sirloin wasn’t great either though certainly passable. Staff made up for it however.

We eat at Cote in Highgate for the first time, the food was nice, Porb belly, very nicely presented and beautifully cooked. My husband had rump of Lamb, again very nicely cooked and presented. The waiter was attentive and friendly. Would like to go there again.

The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was the soup which was not great. But my main meal which was the lamb shank was very tasty and the service was great Serena looked after us and we had fun.

Excellent service.Meals liked but chicken a little overcooked Our usual table was avsilable. Disappointed that free bottle of wine only offered if everyone ordered an a la carte menu. Once it use to be just one person

We eat here often as it is local. Good service, relaxed and friendly- not fussy and reasonably priced good food. We always enjoy ourselves as it has a great atmosphere.

Service excellent and food lovely. No complaints, definitely will return. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Not hurried or made to feel they needed our table soon.

Always very good value. Good selection of food and very well trained and friendly staff. Try the pre 7.00 menu which is even better value. Never disappointed.

Went early on Saturday and there were noisy children. Suggest the beefburger which is only avaliable over the weekend. This is a pity because it has always been excellent

The staff were friendly and the food was great, but I didn't like the food being served across me. The waiter should have walked around to the other side instead of leaning in front of me to serve.

Excellent service by the Puerto Rico waiter. Food great as usual for the 7 of us. Will certainly come back. Cote of Highgate is our best local restaurant.

We have been to lots of different Cotes' and have never had a bad meal. Service excellent and food always delicious. Wish there was one closer to where we live!

We ate from the new 3 course which included a glass of house champagne. The restaurant was quieter than usual because it had rained all day but food, service and quality were as good as we expected.

This was a celebratory lunch for a very good friend. We had a splendid time. The waitress, who was very attentive, took our photos. The food was fine and so was the champagne!

We had a very nice evening, the staff were very attentive. The initial setup for 5 people wasn't comfortable so we were moved to a round table. Unfortunately there was quite a draft from the air-conditioning, which only improved slightly after we asked if it could be turned off. The food was delicious

Always enjoy this Cote. Staff friendly, Knowledgeable, and professional. This place runs a tight and successful shift. Have recommended to many friends and have taken many friends to other Cotes around London. I would be happy to work for Cote.

Staff were brilliant. The only complaint was that the chicken was so overcoked that it was dry and tasteless and the mushroom sauce that went with it was very watery.

Restaurant Busy so best to book, Nice table in covered garden, Good service, food and drink was fine, but portions very small for the price.

Excellent service and venue. One of our party arrived late and it was unfortunate that his first course was delayed because of rush of orders just ahead of it. Could it have been fast-tracked?

Delicious lunch (starter and main from set menu) enjoyed by two adults and one child (Kids menu) in a relaxed atmosphere. It was a shame to have to leave without experiencing dessert as we had to be elsewhere! We'll have to come back again and make sure we give ourselves enough time - one particular offering sounded really appetising - i.e. chocolate mousse!
