Friendly & efficient staff. Good value wine. Nice cocktails. Enjoyable food, Excellent ambiance! We are regulars at this lovely restaurant and always enjoy the experience. Well done Highgate Cote Brasserie!
Mussels were nice and hot, but sauce only tepid. Pork belly overcooked so much that the skin could not be eaten. Prawns, potato and beef were good.
Low key welcome, sound service, excellent food and an attractive price. Altogether a very satisfactory experienec which I would repeat without hesitation. (It seems that Cote rates the number of words more important than their import. A strange lack of perception, but the food is really good so who cares . Guy Morton-Smith
Gorgeous as always, great food and lovely service. Always a delight to visit. Always treated extremely well and the food is great.
We had the premium menu for 4 people. The service was excellent but the noise unbearable due to a large party of about 14. We HAD TO MOVE TO DOWNSTAIRS SO WE COULD TALK. chicken again The food was better than the night before which we spent at Cote St Martins lane. There is was terrible. The main course of half a chicken was dry and overcooked. It came with a pat of butter in a bowl and french fries. All were very poor. The starter at highgate a crottin was dressed with apples and an acidic dressing. Not very good. The main of steak, which was £2.50 extra was average.
Good food and very friendly service. Excellent value for money.
The quality of the food and service coupled with pleasant surroundings and value for money was good and in keeping with our expectations for Cote Brasserie. The only drawback was with the ventilation and temperature of the Highgate branch. We were seated on the slightly raised mezzanine floor. It was a cold evening and the heating system did not operate so as to provide a mean temperature that was comfortable. Most of the time there were drafts of hot air and drafts of cold air and neither mingled. The overall feeling was cold and there was felt by all the diners within our area. We knew this because the adjoining gentleman (not old) had to resort to putting his thick half-coat back on and made a comment and other diners kept on their jackets and jumpers. It could have been that we were close to the service door and perhaps windows were open in the cooking area which disrupted the heating system. Thought I should draw this to your attention.
Lovely food atmosphere and service terrific As usual that’s why we keep coming
Good experience. Well cooked food. All dishes appreciated. Friendly and efficient service. Went beyond what was strictly necessary. Very obliging waiting staff. Very likely to return. Paul
food was good. However what surprised me was the old "coffee machine turned off". Why??? Don't accept the booking if you can't offer a full service. And if you are going to turn off the coffee machine then at least tell customers and give them chance to order first. Very poor
Really good selection of menu, including a comprehensive gluten free menu and set meal at a competitive price. Accommodating staff, who kindly secured and returned a lost item to me very promptly! Nice atmosphere and good service.
Gorgeous from greeting, eating to leaving. Staff are wonderful, made our visit exceptional x
Good food well prepared and set out and expertly served
Fab St Valentines dinner out with friends. Great food and great service as usual at Cote - Highgate High Street. Thank you again for a lovely evening.
HI I love Cote in Highgate The food is good/The staff are excellent and I am going again on Sunday 21/04 Looking forward to it See you soon Thank you Mary O'Donoghue
Lively restaurant but the menu was limited for myself my wife has too many items which we would need which we were told were built-in to the food so could not be removed! Will try again sometime in the future
Once again, an excellent restaurant and a good location to enjoy a family celebration. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. I will be back.
Overall it was a good experience with delicious complimentary gin and tonic, attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere. I was disappointed with the monkfish because it was over cooked and even tough and the mushroom sauce was much too salty.
Great meal, it was a friends 60th birthday made very special by cote. Attentive staff, delicious food. Will be back very soon.
A delicious relaxed lunch in the garden area of Highgate cote. As ever the quality of food and friendly service was second to none. Will definitely be back.
The waitress knew we were in a hurry as we had a local event to attend and despite being busy she looked after us really well. A credit to your staff. Keep an eye on this one- Definitely future manager potential
Excellent service (the staff is well trained), good food, and very reasonable prices. It is a nice place to spend time with your friends; family loved ones.
Thank you for the very helpful and attentive service for our group meal for 11 people. Everyone commented on the delicious food. That and the personal care that was taken, helping as we decorated the table as we wished, and serving food by name (because we'd pre-ordered) helped make this a very special evening for us all.
The manager of this branch of Cote and his team make every visit a great pleasure. It has become our favourite neighbourhood restaurant. The food is always dependably good, as is the service. Tonight we went to celebrate my partner's 50th birthday and they even let us bring our own cake!
Excellent, friendly service. Good food. Pleasant ambience - not too noisy but cheerful. Very good value for money from the pre 7pm menu. One waiter went beyond what was expected. Great evening.
Not the best visit. We regularly visit cote but this was not great. Very sullen waitress. I asked for a bottle of crement de Bourgogne which was repeated to me but when I had first taste I looked at the bottle neck foil and saw I had been served Champagne . I had been shown the label but my fault I didn't see at that time . Decided not to mention it as was a nice wine and would spoil our evening.
Very enjoyable lunch - good value tasty food with lots of choice and very friendly staff. The praline crepe with caramelised bananas was to die for.
Hi great meal and service we really enjoyed ourselves thanks ronnie arlen we look forward to seeing you again in the near future many thanks Also great ice creay
Well looked after by great staff. 4 complimentary Kiri Royale’s as it was my wife’s birthday. Excellent
Food good, staff attentive but not intrusive general ambience very pleasant, tables nicely spaced so my guest and I could talk comfortably without being overheard. Toilets very clean.
We done at Vite regularly and the food is consistently good. Today, the service was slightly below par. There seemed to be confusion about our booking, after a few mins we were told that we could go and sit down - not shown to our table. Also the leather booth seating was covered in crumbs/food bits from the previous diners, the waitress saw me cleaning the seating and did nothing. Disappointing.
The staff are friendly and professional. Over many years Cote Highgate has been our go to place for meeting up with friends and family for both casual and smart gatherings.
Lovely place! Great food and attentive staff- would definitely recommend 👍
I would definitely recommend to friends and family. The set menu is very Good value.
Lovely food and friendly staff. My only complaint is that the Saucisson Sec slices are paper thin and sometimes you only get half slices. Really petty! Other branches are more generous! Other than this, which they should really address, the food is always delicious!
In general, very positive experience. Food was great, service quick and attentive. Only downside of Valentine's dinner was very loud crying / shouting kid few tables from us. I know it is not restaurant fault and for sure it is not happening every night but it actually ruined a little ambience.
This branch is my local and I use it often along with the Muswell Hill branch. Good value, pleasant staff and always a good experience I would recommend it.
Absolutely lovely evening. Was celebrating two 21st birthdays, all the meals were cooked beautifully, the service was excellent and our waitress gave us two chocolate puddings for the birthday boy and girl! Thank you very much. Will definitely be returning
staff very good and atmosphere was relaxed and friendly-just what was needed on a friday evening.
Wonderful lunch, first time I’d be there with young children, nothing was too much trouble. Recommend
