Côte Horsham

Great food great service. Lovely atmosphere. An enjoyable visit. Unfortunately,despite booking through Quandoo and receiving confirmation , and a reminder,the restaurant had no record of our booking . Luckily a small table was found ,but as the occasion was for a birthday treat, it was quite embarassing when told there was no booking. I able to show the confimation email and reminder as proof of booking. Not the best start to the meal.

First day of march set menu. Lovely to see variety and choices made were cooked to perfection. Red wine was served beautifully at room temperature

Excellent service in very pleasant surroundings. I had the lunchtime special, Steak + Frites and a dessert, very nice indeed. Not bad at all for £10.95.

Very nice as usual. The lunch menu is excellent value. We had all 3 courses and the gorgeous creme caramel for pudding. Would definitely recommend

as always good food at breakfast -but consistently only just warm enough to eat! I've complained many times about this but you have to gulp your food down before it goes cold which ruins the experience - lovely staff

Personable, professional and proficient service and very tasty food! Our party of eight thoroughly enjoyed themselves in anattractive environment that has a very relaxed vibe.

Went for Birthday meals ages 12 to 50, amazing service especially our Waitress, and superb food, what more can you ask for, as always with Cote.

We love Cote and often go to the Reigate and Horsham restaurants. However our last visit was spoilt a bit by the waitress who was a bit abrupt and seemed to be finding it hard to find a smile. She also mis-understood our order and brought the wrong salad. It won't deter us from going again but a hospitality course for her wouldn't go amiss.

The moules marieneres was off today - had to send it back the smell was foul. The rest of the food was ok and nice and friendly staff.

Lovely food and reasonably priced for the quality even from the a la carte menu. I had tuna Nicoise which was delicious and the creme caramel is divine. Very efficient service.

Good food, well cooked and excellent service. First time at Cote Horsham and we liked the ambience. Look forward to our next visit. One minor grouse - the tap water in the stone jar was not cold.

Received a very warm welcome from the manager when we arrived. Table was ready for us. Ordered from the early evening menu which is very good value and excellent quality. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

My choice for my 50th birthday in Horsham. Evening dining at Côte's. Staff kind enough to offer a complimentary appetiser to us. Usual high standard.

Came for breakfast which was nice when it came, had to chase staff for drinks and they brought out an incorrect meal which they were happy to change - overall ok.

We had a lovely evening, th food was fantastic as usual & nothing is to much trouble if something is wrong. Have already booked a table for a couple of weeks. Highly recommend

A lovely breakfast with a friendly waitress. I would recommend reserving a table though as a busy popular restaurant. A nice place to spend a bank holiday morning.

The squid had so much batter on it you couldn't taste it was squid. And bizarrely was served with raw garlic scattered on top which would have overpowered any taste anyway. The ribeye steak was the toughest I've ever had, and I'm not convinced it was 30 day aged due to its flavour. It was underseasoned, but was cooked rare which I asked for. My partner had the duck, and that was much better than my food. Overall I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, and won't be going back again.

Chose from the set menu. Quality and quantity was excellent. The decor in the restaurant is very attractive and the staff are always polite and efficient.

Delicious food, couldn't fault it. My only criticism would be that I am not keen on how close the tables are along the wall (behind the stairs). You are very aware of the people either side of you and doesn't feel very private.

as always exceptional manager and staff so helpful changed our table as we felt,we were too near the door and draughty! Food and House white wine excellent charming and efficient waiters!

Lovely food as always, service was great too. Only thing was that creme brûlée was a little bit burnt. Always lovely for a celebration though and well worth a visit.

Friendly, great value, and staff were lovely. Good choice on the menu and good traditional French food. We are regular customers and always enjoy our meals here.

Booked for 12 noon to beat the rush and enjoyed a very good lunch with wine. The standard is always very good which is why we keep returning.

Normally service at COTE in Horsham has always been superb but on this particular Friday it was very poor&My friend's cottage pie was extremely dry&tasteless.

We had a very pleasant evening , it was our first time visiting this branch, the waitress was lovely and very polite , food great , wine great, all round great time thanks cotes

Restaurant appeared to be short staffed and rushed to serve everyone. Food was delicious (as usual) but service could have been a bit better. Our waitress was not over friendly.

Great Meal, although the calamari wasn't very nice and looked grey and very rubbery. The rest of the dishes were lovely and service was good.

Good service. Ok food. Steak asked as medium but was overdone. Rowdy large party table nearby. Had to ask for lights to be turned up as too dark to read menu properly

We regularly use the Horsham Cote for evening & brunch at the weekend. Today was unusual but unfortunately had to return my eggs royale as the poached eggs were not even warm; second plate a bit better but eggs still not hot which I did mention to the waitress when she asked, for kitchen info, but she really wasn't interested. Also she couldn't quite understand why our friend asked for his coffee cup to be filled as it was little more than half a cup when served! They weren't even very busy at that time today so can't blame it on a full restaurant.

Another enjoyable visit to Côte in HORSHAM. Exploring the Set menu and enjoying the variety. Staff accommodating with table choice. Very busy but staff still discreet.

We found this reservation service easy to use and like the idea of building up reward points. It's always a worry when you make a reservation online. Will definitely use this service again

As always a really good meal with excellent service. Cote in Horsham is always very busy but that doesn't ever diminish the standard of food or the sevice

Excellent food and service, would recommend to anyone for a good meal on a special occasion. Crab mayonnaise starter particular good even if you don't like crab like my partner.

The team at Cote Horsham cannot do enough for you. It is my favourite restaurant by far. Every time we've been we've had a fantastic meal. The staff are really clued up and despite being busy they are always attentive.

We have been going to Cote Horsham since the week they opened and have always thoroughly enjoyed our experience. This time however - NOT. A friend who has been staying with us took us there as a thank you and we were met by the manager who just about managed to show us to a table, did not take our coats (as usually happens) and in truth was not friendly or service minded throughout the evening. No-one asked if we were enjoying our meal etc. etc. - all of which normally happens. They were very busy that evening BUT we were paying customers in the same way that the bigger parties were and deserved the same attention - which we normally receive but certainly did not - in fact I would go so far as to say that the manager (and we know he is because he spent part of our evening there the other week telling us how good he was and how well Cote Horsham were doing in the group - ad infinitum and in fact brought us 4 free drinks as a thank you for our long-term custom and then charged us for them at the end of the evening - the charge was removed but only after I explained they should have been free) was actually not even friendly. I have run a large service industry company in the past and service is everything - having been such loyal customers of Cote - we have decided that we may give them a miss in the foreseeable future and try other restaurants where we hopefully will be treated as "customers" and not "people who got in the way"!!

Although I'm a Rewards customer at Cotes in Dorking, I often have lunch at Cotes in Horsham with my wife. Their set lunch menu is very good value for money although some of their set menus have proved better to our liking than others and we have been disappointed by the choice on occasions. Nevertheless, I would generally recommended the food. However, I strongly dislike their "imposed" 12% service charge and have made this known on more than one occasion. It is for the customer to reward good service not for the management to assume you are content with the service and pre-impose this irrespectively on the customer (I know you can have this removed). This is seen as a means of justifying not paying their waiting staff a proper wage. It will be interesting to see if you publish this - a comment which I know is shared by many!!

I always get a warm welcome. The food and the plate is hot, perfectly cooked ingredients, from an extensive menu, and yet very good value for money.

We have been eating at Cote Brasserie Horsham for over 4 years now and have nothing but praise for this superb restaurant. The food is always excellent - from breakfast to dinner - the staff are always charming and professional and the welcome is always warm. I did once eat at Cote in Sloane Square London and was not as impressed but your restaurant in Fulham just off Fulham Road in a small enclave - was also excellent - Don't change the menu - Horsham Cote is always packed and wouldn't be if it were not the best.

Very friendly staff, courteous and attentive but not overly. Nice atmosphere, good décor and pleasant toilets. Food enjoyable and good breakfast price for what is included as compared with other establishments nearby. Recommended.

The food was of a good standard and served promptly, the staff were both friendly and attentive. All of our party enjoyed their meals and especially the desserts.

We always feel very welcome at Horsham, regardless if it is extremely busy or quiet. The staff are friendly, and the food is consistently good.

Visit Cote regularly and find it very consistent and good value - especially the early evening menu. Also find consistent quality across other branches of Cote.

My guests, one of them a French woman, pronounced it the best meal they had had for years in the U.K. Everything was, indeed, perfect. Thank you.

We had a lovely meal before going to the theatre. Although we had hoped for the £10.95 menu, but not on a Saturday. Maybe a pre-theatre special could be something to think about. Moules and Steak were perfect. :)
