Our waiter was absolutely charming; the ambiance in the restaurant was pleasant; and the food was delicious. (I had the salmon and ratatouille and my friend had the tuna Nicoise salad, and we also had a basket of bread and a bottle of wine.) In addition, we thought the anti-coronavirus measures were sensible and well judged.
Great to be back in your restaurant. The staff were excellent.
Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices make Cote the restaurant I keep returning to.
Many thanks. Perfect lunch with my brother and his wife. Well do e
Been waiting for four months for this meal at Cote and it was well worth it - thank you so much..!!
Very nice, if a little disorganised! Glad the sun was shining!
Fantastic lunch. Staff friendly and efficient Outdoor space great with lots of space
Great food, friendly and efficient service and lovely setting. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I chose cote as our first meal out post-lockdown and it did not disappoint! I thought the waiters and waitresses were excellent....not too awkward but still socially distanced etc. Food was Delish as always and great atmosphere. Thanks
Lovely setting and very clean but as things stand at the moment, the menue is very limited and the meal was quite small. My wife could not find a desert which was not chocolate or ice cream. These are the two things she dislikes. The service was good apart from the wait, which was a bit long initially but improved after the starter.
Perfect evening by the river. Great food, good service just lovely to be out with friends after lockdown.
We were well looked after and the social distancing and additional cleaning measures were clearly in place, but didn’t change our experience. Staff we’re friendly and attentive. My only issue is that the menu is now reduced due to the situation, so choice is limited (I don’t eat red meat), but my husband still had a wide choice of steak, so he was happy.
Enjoyable and excellent food and attentive staff. Top marks for service.
Glad you are back, more staff please, overall a good experience
Great food and nice to be back. Also very nice to have fewer tables in the restaurant.

So wonderful that you are back and excellent as always
Exceptional as always. Staff were friendly and slick as usual despite all the extra precautions they are having to take. Food was as delicious as I remember it 4 months ago :) Will be back soon
Good food and spaced out tables- service good with face covering/visors
Excellent food and service. So happy to be able to eat here again.
Delicious first ‘after lockdown meal. Excellent service, well organised, good atmosphere and a great meal. So nice to feel some normality after four months.
Had a great meal as always! Love Cote, food consistently good
Food was excellent and came on time, service was good, atmosphere was great. Wonderful
Excellent food and service, generous portions. Cheapest wine very acceptable, complemented the fish perfectly.
As always an excellent meal at Cote. Food and service are always consistently good in all restaurants. Very reasonably priced food and good selection on menus.
Wonderful, friendly and attentive service. Food was first rate. This was our first visit to the Cote in Kingston upon Thames, although we have experienced the Cotes in York and Norwich zip where we were met with the same excellent service and food.
The staff were brilliant the restaurant had been overbooked which meant a wait of 20 minutes for a table
Good riverside location and friendly, helpful staff. Our children have allergies and were very well catered for. Food was tasty and very good value for money.
A wonderful meal again at Cote Kingston - the food was superb, as was the service and atmosphere. You really can't go wrong going to Cote, as it's always excellent.
Very nice with pleasant Service and good food. Will come back
Another great dining experience ! Alex the Manager and all of the team were so attentive and the food great as always.
Celebrating a birthday. Great food, attentive staff. The blood orange martini was fabulous. The sea bass with fennel was delicious, a good time had by all.

The food was lovely and glad I booked in advance as it was extremely busy on Good Friday particularly with the lovely weather. Despite being busy we were not rushed and given p!entry of time to make our selection from the menu. My only grumble is that my guests were stopped from entering the restaurant and told to wait. My husband had to collect them from the queue!
We had our favourite table and view of the river. Friendly staff and great GF menu
Very nice cocktail and staff most helpful to my dietary requirements as have an egg allergy made no fuss
My starter, Bake Crottin, was delicious; but the disappointment came with the main dish, a Rlbeye steak, which should have been medium-well done. Unfortunately it was served as medium with average meat quality about what I complained as it wasn’t what I ordered. I was than simply told by the serving young lady this stake was medium-well done as the cook told her so. In short: Disappointing service and average steak quality.
We always enjoy breakfast at Cote Kingston. We both chose the Formule which was perfectly cooked and served on hot plates.
Average, plates very hot but food wasn't especially hot. Reasonable value for money. Wouldn't be in a rush to go back as it wasn't very memorable, but I guess that's typical of a restaurant chain. It was pretty noisy, would be better with some consideration to sound absorbing materials.
Excellent food always consistent, staff are friendly, give an excellent service and the atmosphere on the river is fabulous
Went there for my husbands birthday. We ordered starters, unfortunately my husbands did not arrive and we had to chase it up. Our plates were not cleared away for a long period of time after we had finished and we had a long wait for the mains. Too much cream in the mussels for my liking. The mains were nice, we had the rib eye and sea bass. We had booked a table but they didn't seem to have the booking on the system. Good location by the river and very busy for a Tuesday. Had previously been with a friend for lunch and that was very nice. One thing to mention, if you want a quiet romantic meal, it is very noisy and hard to hear people speaking!
Very busy at the time of dining, however, our server was delightful - welcoming, friendly and engaging
Usually good but as you have asked. Service was curt and efficient without any warmth. The main course was small and poor value. A small strip of salmon, thee asparagus spears and four tiny potatoes for £14, hardly enough for a child. You need to do better to get people to come back. Changing the menu might help too.
Good food and really great service , all staff very helpful
We wanted to eat before going to the theatre. Vote provides a varied quick menu which is excellent value. The service is friendly and efficient. We are sure to visit again.
Always a great dining experience at this classic French brasserie with a simple yet generous menu, great food and polished service
Really enjoyed my Mother’s Day breakfast at cote Kingston. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Service was first class. This was the first time that my 18 year old son could afford to take me out and even though he was paying he commented on the fact it was very good value for money. Have been several times before and look forward to many more. Thank you.
Pleasantly welcomed, although we were early. Quiet, but it busied up. Solicitous service commenced with a thoroughly quechable (?) and refreshing gin cocktail to celebrate March, gratis! I enjoyed my simple choice of courses -Roquefort salad and steak frites, but could still cast an envious eye across the table at a grilled Breton chicken. Good choice, too!
Had a lovely day, staff were very attentive and very friendly Thank you for my complimentary desert for my birthday x my friends and I will be coming back for more
Excellent service and superb food! Fabulous family outing all in party were fully satisfied!
Friendly welcome, efficient and friendly table service. Tomato salad I ordered tasted good but the avocado chunks were a little too brown. omelette was tasty too with a good amount of filling. Crème caramel was delicious and served with a smile.
