Lovely to be back after all these months. Great food, fabulous service.

A little disappointed this time. Two of the wines my wife enjoys from the wine list they didn’t have. My chicken was very dry and the portions seemed smaller but the final bill higher.

Delicious food and warm professional staff coping with the “new normal” extremely well. We will be back!

A lovely meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We were enjoying a Bank Holiday weekend away so this was a nice treat.

Good service courteous staff but food very disappointing. The lobster had to be sent back because it was extremely dry and there was hardly any meat in the claws. The second one wasn’t much better. We felt it had been cooked earlier and then reheated. The chicken was also dry but marginally better. Not up to previous standards prior to lockdown. Hopefully it was a one off as we generally enjoy our meals at Cote. However the staff were very obliging and we got a reduction in the bill.

We thought the safety of the customers and staff was well thought out with out spoiling the dining experience. The food and service was first class.

Excellent experience, our waitress (Scottish?) was excellent, food very good maybe a little pricey for what you get but was very,very nice and service in general was great. Highly recommend.

We had a great meal with great service at Lewes Cote. We went as an end of the holidays final family get together and to finish ‘Eat out to help out’ at one of our favourite places. It never disappoints! Thank you Cote!

Lovely staff, the food was somewhat disappointing,, my burger was well cooked but the bacon was too crispy and salsa was overwhelming. Question why so many chocolate desserts?

Fantastic Cote, the best one we have been to. Food was great and our waitress was wonderful. Nicely spaced tables made for a relaxing atmosphere.

Excellent meal in a first class restaurant with great service

Excellent meal & service. The only reason you have 5 stars instead of 6 is that apart from staff visors there was no evidence of Covid19 precautions. No tables were sprayed while we were there (we were the last out) but they were all relaid. Credit cards were taken by the server instead of the customer inserting the card in the server held machine. If nothing else visual evidence that cleaning precautions are being taken builds customer confidence.

Your staff are excellent, charming and efficient and your creme caramel is one of the most delicious desserts on the planet but oh how the starters and main courses let you down. If only you had proper chefs who cooked from scratch instead of it mostly being sent almost oven ready from a main source. This is why I am only giving you 4 stars

Lovely to be back! Service was great very friendly. Food usual excellent standard. I haha crab mayonnaise followed by fish parmentier. Husband had pate followed by pork belly. Wine was good. Lovely atmosphere.

So good to be back at Cote. Reassuring COVID-19 safety measures in place alongside the usual polite and efficient service. Some delicious menu options as well as the old favourites. The restaurant was full (with customers waiting) on the Saturday night we visited so I hope that was a sign of a well-deserved return to the new normality for Cote.

Our first meal out after lockdown! We were warmly greeted and felt completely safe with the social distancing in place. The brunch was lovely and all four of us really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to go again.

Had a fantastic breakfast - so good to see you open again - we have missed our usual Saturday breakfasts with you! Service top rate as usual.

I am very happy that Lewes Cote is open again, and in time for my birthday. 5 of us celebrated and the meal was delicious as usual; all the more so with the Govt's Eat Out discount. As for Covid precautions, we were pleased that all staff wore visors & my details were taken for track & trace. However, we were surprised that there appeared to be no reduction in number of tables, & although bookings are capped at 6 people, there was not even a metre between diners.
