Excellent service and quality of food with very polite attentive staff.

As always the food was excellent. My son had the rib eye steak, my husband the chicken and frites and I had risotto. All good. Similarly for dessert, the chocolate mousse, ice cream and chocolate fondant all went down well. Our waitress was very pleasant and the kir royales, which were free as it was my birthday, were well received by all.

Food, Service, Waiting Time, Noise Level, Atmosphere, Value for Money. were all perfect. I love eating at Côte Brasserie. I’ll be back.

Cote was as ever very pleasant and in Lewes the only quality restaurant available. It will always be a first choice in the town. We will come again.

We had a lovely meal to celebrate our anniversary . The food and service were great . The restaurant was very busy for a Thursday, but the service was excellent , weirdly I have been to Côte when the restaurant has been quiet and and the service has been very slow , no complaints about last night though !

My wife's birthday, they looked after her from start to finish in a really nuanced and gentle way. We, and especially she, had a lovely time.

Lovely meal and attentive service we would have liked to have been offered the free cocktail as we were a party of six but five of us had the set menus - would have been a nice touch as resiwssnt busy and we were a large table

We love Lewes Cote but the waiting time for drinks and staff attentiveness was disappointing yesterday. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and food delicious as always. Maybe they were short-staffed.

Great place for my daughter’s birthday celebration. The staff were so attentive , the girls loved the food and it’s such a nice venue.

We had a very nice lunch, I had the prawns gratin then the moules and a delightful complimentary gin cocktail thru the March offer.The service was friendly and professional.

I had the May fixed price three course menu and excellent value it was too. Quality food at a good price and excellent service.

Although a particular table was booked , in person , and logged on your terminal by a male member of staff , this was not provided on the booked day at the booked time !! Service , as always was excellent , but bacon over cooked and toast soft !

We love coming to Cote. The price is right and the food is excellent!

Four of us went for brunch. Very good food and very good service. Its difficult to fault this place. It was a bit quiet when we arrived (about 10:30) but was filling up by the time we left. Would certainly go there again.

Only our second visit,but as before we were made very very welcome.The staff are truly wonderful in every way, especially the surprise chorus of *Happy Birthday* for my wife.The food is to die for and I, liking good food ,would be there every day but my waistline could not keep up.Thankyou again for a very very special day As McArthur once said *I will return*

Service good. Although we did eat lunch early at 12:00 Sadly I found that the salad had not been washed and I found a baby slug on my rocket and black gritty bits on my little gem lettuce. The comment I got was that the chef didn’t know what it was and that all salads are washed. If it had been washed I would not have found any foreign bodies on it!! I find this rather concerning and most disappointing Fiona Kay

Good food, fabulous service, lovely atmosphere, slight delay on the desert but offered a complimentary coffee. Superb.

Took my partner to the Lewes branch for a chilled lunch this Sunday. I have been to a few other branches before, but it was his first time. We both agreed that it was a beautifully decorated restaurant, the food was delicious, with lots of choices. The staff were enthusiastic, had huge smiles on their faces and made us feel very welcome, with regular, but not intrusive checks on our meal! Would definitely recommend, and plan to return soon!

Welcoming service - a genuinely warm greeting too, great food, varied menu, reasonable price. One criticism only - a nearby table of oafish 'guests'. Did we really need to hear every word? Thank goodness we were finishing our main course when they arrived.

Overall the meal was ok, portions are a little on the small side when compared to the competition and the dessert was served in a very slap dash manor and luke warm because the staff were concentrating on a large party on another table. So I am afraid there are better venues to eat in Lewes and we are unlikely to return to Cote.

The food was very good...Well cooked and excellent quality. We had 2 people with allergies and the staff took it seriously and were helpful. The beginning of the meal was strange. We ordered bread and olives but no plates arrived and when asked for took ages.. then 4 came...we were 6 people. Overall we were very happy and would return for a celebration meal.

Wonderful birthday lunch, the staff were so friendly and understanding of our crowd of ten year olds. Lovely atmosphere and food and drink were great too. Highly recommended.

The service was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. Although it wasn't busy at the time we had lunch the waiter wasn't very attentive and didn't make suggestions or went the extra mile to make us feel special or create a memorable experience for us. The food was good but not sure I would come back to this Cote branch when I'm back in Lewis.

Lovely food, well presented, in a busy and happy atmosphere with friendly staff. We had the lamb rump which was tender, pink and juicy. An excellent evening!

We had a delicious two course meal and especially the gin cocktail which was the special drink of the month. We had brilliant service and there was a relaxed comfortable atmosphere in the restaurant.

Great food and the service was very efficient but I think putting on a service charge of 12.5% on every table especially for a table of two is very naughty

Booked a table for lunch for 2. Warmly welcomed on arrival and quickly presented with menus. My wife went for the Salmon with ratatouille which she said was delicious, I had the Rib Eye steak with fries, cooked to perfection, really tasty and tender. We both had the must have pudding of Creme Caramel, again really delicious, silky smooth with good vanilla and burnt sugar flavour. All washed down with a bottle of Viognier. Ended with 2 flat white coffees. The whole experience was first class. Great food, great service and a relaxing ambience.

Nice relaxed dining with polite attentive staff and good food. A nice range of Gluten Free Options on the menu as well. Overall an excellent experience will certainly return and recommend.
