Côte Lincoln

Myself and two friends dined at this establishment on Tuesday 29th August. We ordered from the set menu (three courses for £12.95 weekdays 12-7pm). The restaurant was relatively quiet but this wasn't surprising given the day of the week. There were a few tables occupied but we were given the choice of where to sit. The restaurant was nice and airy. Even thou the menu were opted for was a special deal I felt that there was plenty of choice. We were given a good amount of time to peruse the menu and make our choices. I opted for the cod croquettes for my starter, belly pork on a bed of mash for main and crumble for my dessert. All the food was cooked well and I especially enjoyed my main. My dining experience at Cote was excellent throughout from the service, the food and the ambience. I would most definately dine here again

A very pleasant restaurant with good food, quick service and very attentive staff and not at silly prices. We will definitely go again in the near future.

Second visit to this restaurant - as before, lovely food and great service. Would definitely recommend for a date night or a classy evening out with friends.

Food excellent, service average, hence the score. Special deal (which included a glass of champagne) was not explained until after we had ordered and received drinks. Vegetables came half way through main course.

Lovely restaurant environment, polite staff. Did not agree with the 12.5% gratuity and felt I couldn't challenge it. Will return but won't rush back to do so

Second time in Lincoln and chose your restaurant which certainly lived up to our previous meal with you in Oxford. Lovely setting lovely food and service fantastic. We will certainly come back again.

Shocking. To begin with we were told about six items from the menu were unavailable. Then when the waiter came to serve main course no-one had cleared the starter, so mains stood going cold while table was cleared. Then two meals didn't arrive at all - they had been forgotten. When they did arrive they were incomplete and cold. Very apologetic, but overall not a good experience.

Tasty food at set price and quality that customer knows they will get every time. Lack of adventure in menu but it is a chain so expected

Really nice to go somewhere that serves at the pace you want, lovely atmosphere with great food with extensive gluten free menu which is a nice change!

Food was excellent and the waitress was very attentive. The service was quick and we didn't have to wait to long for food and drinks.

Excellent meal as always. Great value too- one of the best places to eat in Lincoln
